Beware! The jacket I purchased was offered at a 'discount' IF I paid £5 for membership, so I did. When I got home I checked the price at other stores and they all sell at the price i paid, without the membership.

Amina was great. She was patient and helpful and spent the time needed to find an item for me. I could easily have walked out without buying anything if she had not been as calm and friendly.

Great quality and value. Customer service very good.

The Sales Assistance was helpfull when I was looking for something for my husband.

Click and Collect just doesn't work. I fill in all my details including membership number on the website (but, crucially, cannot pay at this stage). Then I go to the back of the store to collect my order. Then I have to queue at the checkout. When I get to the checkout I again have to provide my membership number, plus the 10% code I used on the website hasn't been applied. It is a gigantic faff.

lovely store. all the staff very friendly & helpful, girl on the till was lovely (long brown hair and glasses). Alan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products in store, and seems genuinely like a lovely guy. great chat, thanks Alan! you guys should definitely give him a bonus or whatever the policy is. :) xx

Excellent service this morning at Kingston upon Thames branch. The guy who specialises in hiking footwear was really helpful and the red haired chap and woman at the till were super helpful in getting me enrolled as a member with a great discount on my new hiking boots and arranging for home delivery. Thank you.

Great selection of goods. Easy click and collect system, staff always friendly and helpful.

Jessica and the whole team were really lovely and so helpful when I needed to return some boots that I had bought at a different store but didn’t fit me properly. They all helped me try out different insoles to see if that would help, and were very patient when I tried on lots of different styles of boot, and when I couldn’t find anything that fit they refunded the original shoes.

The consistently high performance of the staff.

Really pleased with the bargain walking trousers.
But - difficult to get key for changing room.
Also you need to get some new women's t shirts in. The Peter Storm ones are the same ones as you had last summer and not very inspiring. Hope you keep stocking Weird Fish - like their clothes and not many places you can look at it.

I had to hunt around for staff to let me in the changing room. Other than that the staff were helpful. I just think the changing rooms could be better attended.
I also think the membership fee is unnecessary and a cheap way to get more money

A great shopping experience. Lots of outdoor wear to choose from - all great quality. Service at the store, online ordering & delivery were excellent.

Excellent choice , advice and prices

In one day I went into the store a couple of times to check out an Osprey 70 litre bag. As it is an expensive purchase for me I wanted it to fit all my requirements. I met a really helpful sales assistant with a poorly arm (can’t recall her name) who helped me considerably. At the end I realised the bag wasn’t enough and went away to research the suggested bag. As a parting comment she suggested once I’d bought it to bring it into the shop and she would help me fit it to my body. I thanked her and left surprised that they would be invested in me without me purchasing anything from them.
I returned with my new Osprey Bag and asked if she was present, unfortunately she wasn’t in that day however, they pulled Zac off the till to help me as they said he would love it. Zac owns 18 Osprey bags! He was amazing. He helped me and another chap at the same time, fitting my bag and advising and also fitting the other chaps too.
Zac gave me a low down on how to set the bag up and talked through each area showing me how to fit it and why. Once finished, he then fitted me out with an Osprey fitting frame so that I bought the correct size for my day bag. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the one I was interested in yet he went to great lengths to bring out other ones which weren’t on the shop floor and discuss my need and explain which ones would meet it and why. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and beyond helpful. I’ve now bought 2 bags, not from Go Outdoors as they didn’t stock them, and have been taught how to get the best out of them. I would thoroughly recommend the staff there and encourage others to purchase from Go Outdoors. I’m very grateful for the time they afforded me in the process of making lifetime purchases. Kingston store could do with more 2 man tents pitched in store you sell some great tents from Oex and Vango but very little pinched in store

We asked for help with rucksacks for my daughter’s upcoming travels and Zack in Kingston branch was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable of the whole range. We’d have been lost without his help.

All items we bought were great value for money and good quality.

Great store, huge selection and good prices but terribly slow service at the checkout. Queue wasn’t long but it just took ages per customer for no obvious reason…. I queued for around 20mins but only 3 people ahead of me with two people on tills
