Charlene was very helpful and happy to go in the store room to get other styles to try. We are off to Paris for a few days and wanted a smarter trainer for walking the streets. Charlene was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about wider fit styles and manufacturers for my wife. We bought 3 pairs and very happy.

This is the 2nd time Charlene has helped me to purchase an item . She is excellent at her job .

Phil was really helpful on checking stock and reserving it for me when the 'click and collect ' service wasn't working.

Needed to get some new waterproof walking boots and shoes. Mandy and Charlene were very helpful and honest and knowledgeable about their wide choice of footwear. I thought I'd be purchasing Scarpa but didn't fit my wide toe box but came away with a North Ridge pair which feel so comfortable and without their help and advice I wouldn't have considered them at all. Really vast store and very helpful staff . Location is perfect for shops and a cuppa after! Great shopping experience all round. Highly recommend.

Mandy who served us was fantastic - good knowledge of footwear options, very helpful, and no hard selling, or pressuring - as a result of this I ended up buying a pair of Scarpa hiking boots and some Inov8 trail shoes.

Thank you to both Mandy and Tom, for their fantastic help with my hiking shoes – they was brilliant! Mandy gave expert advice on the types of materials ideal for the hike I was planning for, recommend some bees wax to go with it and gave her time to ensure I was comfortable and tried the shoes on with big socks before buying. I felt really looked after and Mandy in general was a lovely person with great expert tips! And Tom at the till was super helpful with local hike advice too. Great service all around!

After experiencing a problem with ordering online for a store collection which the system would not let me do I called the Launceston Store and spoke to Linzi who went the extra mile to check stock of the item and put it back for me for collection today which I have done. Linzi and her colleague were cheerful and engaging and extremely helpful and a great ambassador for the store. Well Done

Staff were very helpful with finding the right walking boots unfortunately they didnt have the ramp that some other outdoor shops have to test the boots fut going up and down hill, due to this I went elsewhere that did have a ramp and spent the money there. Would be 5stars otherwise

The staff were amazing so friendly helpful and knowledgeable. They ordered my walking boots and got them sent to my home address for no charge. The store has everything you need. Would recommend!

I bought a great pair of leather walking boots. I was helped by Tom, he was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I wore them today and I'm really happy with them, they're really comfortable even on the first wear.

I needed a waterproof coat to replace a leaking old coat. Jack, Kayleigh and Sally all helped.
Staff were easily available on hand to assist. I was asked my price range and the specifications I wanted. I was shown a number of ladies garments. Jack had to reach them down for me as they were well beyond my reach. I tried some on but they were more jacket than coat length and too narrow at the hip. I was not keen on the colour choices either. One of the assistants suggested men’s are often a better fit as they are straight and the colour choices were better too. Apparently lots of ladies choose men’s coats for these reasons.
In the end I had a choice of 2 colours in the same coat, both were nice. I chose and purchased one of the coats.
Jack Kayleigh and Sally all helped me make my own choice. They were helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Without advice I would have only looked at the ladies waterproofs and not considered the men’s selections. I would also have quickly tired because I could not reach any of the coats I wanted to look at.
Jack, Kayleigh and Sally were a credit to the Go Outdoors company.
