We had a faulty pair of boots and Leah handled the return in the best way possible. Very happy with the service! Northampton!!!

The store in Northampton is huge. There is a truly huge range of everything you would need for outdoor sports and activities. The areas I've brought items from are bikes, climbing, caravanning and camping also equestrian.
The bike section, I think its a subsidary called Lake leisure, has very knowledgeable staff who ride and are extremely helpful. The equestrian section is as well stocked as most specialist tack shops. Climbing gear is pretty much the same story, I could try various shoes on till I found the the best fit. I didn't need to find staff to fetch different sizes as they had most models in various sizes right there in boxes.
I always know what I'm looking for so I rarely need staff assistance but any interactions I've had there have always been friendly and helpful.
Definitely my go to place I would give it more than a five star if I could.

On where do I start! A big thank you to Sam who was delightfully helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed for our first camping trip ever! He was very attentive and made sure we were fully stocked with the essentials necessary!

Very quick. Trying a new brand of walking shoe that feels just right. Leah was very helpful.

Barry was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when my husband needed a new tent. My husband being a motorcyclist was advised to get the 2/3 man tent to help store jackets boots helmet etc. Which was a god send.
We then needed a storage box, so straight over to the correct dept and Barry was there to advise and help on a suitable container.
Advising us about Go Outdoors promotions as we already have the card. All in all We believe Barry was above and beyond helpful.

Came into the store looking for some mountain boots and managed to find something fairly quickly for a great price. Euan was also very helpful in helping me choose 👍

I went in looking for a good pair of hiking trainers but really not sure which ones were best for me. I was meat by a young lady( Jess ) who could not have been more helpful explaining the different souls grips and cushioning I purchased a pair on Merrel Moab 3 GTX more than happy.

The Northampton store: Wanted to exchange some Salumon walking shoes that didn't fit right for a smaller size. When this smaller size still wasn't right, staff member Emily was very helpful and patient in helping me decide what to do next. As a fellow 'in between sizer' when it comes to shoes, she knew I'd need to try on a few pairs. Helped me check the fit and feel of a new pair and to compare between shoes, feeling my feet in the shoes to check how well they really fitted! Eventually, I exchanged the Salumons for a smaller-size Berghaus and really appreciated Emily's patience!

Firstly a welcome smile and hello as I entered the store not often anymore in retail,
Then I was helped with my choice of walking shoes by a very helpful man called Jez, and to finish off the visit a polite and smiley cashier top service from entry to exit 😀

Rhiann was super helpful and friendly with helping us pick out the perfect tent for us.

Barry was very helpful and friendly! He gave good advice and answered all questions. Made us want to return again!

Nathan was great in helping me with a multi tool.
