Staff professionalism despite the fact this wonderful branch is closing down so this could be my last review.
I had hoped it was just sale of clearance stock, very dismayed as a long time customer, such a friendly caring well-led store. I know this isn't the right platform but I do hope that staff will get future safe well deserved employment.

Great customer experience
I would like to leave a great review for the customer assistant who helped us at GO Outdoors in Plymouth city center New George street outlet. He’s called ‘Owen’ and he was extremely helpful, polite, and knowledgeable while recommending the best products for my daughter’s upcoming DoE expedition.
He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we didn’t miss any important camping essentials, reminding us of every little thing she would need. His patience, professionalism, and friendly attitude made the whole shopping experience much easier and less stressful.
We are very grateful for all of his support and I must say he is excellent at his job. Customer service like this really stands out. Thank you again for all your help!

Owen was the mutts nutts, without his superb salesmen’s pitch I would never have bought anything.
It was so good he convinced me to buy a bag I didn’t want.
Seriously, lovely lad, good with my miserable 17yr old and got two sales out of me.

Went in store today for new walking…
Went in store today for new walking shoes as my old ones have finally gave out after 10 years. We were served by Matt and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The new shoes are excellent already broke them in with a 14mile walk
