Popped into Go Outdoors Shrewsbury and found the store well stocked and busier than previous visits. Got everything I was looking for and your staff were pleasant and helpful. In the footwear department I was efficiently provided with my preferred choice of walking shoe by Dominic. Thankyou!

Went in wanting some walking boots but not really sure on what I wanted. Freddie was very helpful and knowledgeable helped me find the perfect boots for me, I didn't feel like I was being rushed or pushed into a decision which always helps, will definitely be coming back thanks Freddie

Visited your store today for some new walking boots I was asked if I needed any help by a young man called Freddie he asked what I was looking for and was very knowledgeable on all the walking boots I asked about his advice was brilliant and I went away a very happy customer with a brand new pair of walking boots the most comfortable boots I have ever had

Helped by Freddie today at Shrewsbury, we were after overtrousers, but unsure if they would fit when have winter big B2 boots on. Freddie sourced a pair from stores and allowed us to wear them, then test the trousers.

I was looking for some new walking boots and was helped by Elijah who first asked me what sort of terrain I would be covering and the main purpose they would serve. He then explained the pros and cons of various styles and how they should feel walking up and down hills etc. And having looked at a few I was pleased with his main recommendation. After trying a couple of sizes I ended up buying the mens version as that suited my foot better. He also explained how to lace them properly and how to care for them. I was impressed with his knowledge. Overall it was a great experience and I'm thrilled with my purchase.

We popped in off the cuff to get some walking boots. We was approached by a young man called Dominic. This young man is an asset to ur company. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very polite. Because of his help I left a very happy customer and I will be returning and I will b recommending the shop to over people in my circle if walkers

I found the two assistants Holly and Kate? were so knowledgeable and incredibly helpful and found just what I needed. I needed a sun hat for my holiday in the middle of winter when summer stocks are packed away in the stock room.This involved a lot of to-ing and fro-ing to the stock room. Nothing was too much trouble for them so has made the pre- holiday packing so much easier Great friendly service!

I needed a new pair of hillwalking boots so drove to Go Outdoors because, from previous experience, I knew that they stock a wide range of manufacturers, models and sizes. As I was looking at the rack of boots I was soon approached by Ewan and by a series of questions and answers we narrowed the selection to three-season boots, leather or other waterproof uppers and preferably Vibram soles, size 9 or 10. This cut the selection and trying-on down to a few types and sizes from which it was clear the Merrell size 10 with hide and Gortex uppers and Vibram soles were the best in fitting my requirements and price range. Well done Ewan, you made a complicated job easy for me.

Plenty of choice but more importantly the customer service was excellent

I went in to Go Outdoors today to buy some new walking boots. The lovely shop assistant Stuart was very knowledgeable and helpful, he talked through the different options with me helping me decide on my boots. Thank you!!
