GO Outdoors - Taunton Reviews

My wife and I were assisted by Jonathan; excellent and knowledgeable service.

I came in looking for a new pair of walking boots today and Jonathan was super helpful and knowledgable and sorted me right out with some top spec boots. Thanks for all your help Jonathan.

Jonathon was super helpful.
Helped me choose a sensible pair of waterproof walking shoes, instead of a trendy pair where i would have had wet feet.
Thankyou

Always excellent service with Jonathan and also Jamie on one occasion in the lead up to purchase.
Jonathan is professional, interested and always gives good advice.
It is nice to leave a store having had good service and not being mobbed off because I am elderly. Thank you Jonathan, Jamie and James.

I found everything I wanted in store for my trip to South America. Jonathan spent a lot of time with me and was super helpful in the shoe department and I managed to find a pair I really liked. Ella D served me at the till and she was really friendly and helpful and set up my membership. Great experience

Went into store today to purchase a pair of walking shoes and Johnathan (sales person) was great, he gave me some good information and support what was the best options for my hiking shoe. He also spent some time helping me to decide and find the correct shoe for me. I was very happy with his overall approach & knowledge. Thank you Tony

Called in yesterday to get replacement for my aged Brasher boots. Was immediately attracted to a special offer on a discontinued line. Jonathan very kindly provided me with his views on the quality and on other boots that may be suitable. However, the Brashers were very comfortable, so that was that! I also though I would replace my aged socks - I do like 1000 mile brand and again Jonathan directed me to a special offer which proved very satisfactory. A very happy customer!

Bought some new walking boots. Jonathan was really helpful.
Lovely calm store.

Great service from Lin in the Taunton store

Jonathan came over to assist me while I was browsing the range of walking boots and immediately offered his help. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very informative throughout. As I had forgotten to bring my own walking socks, he kindly provided a pair so I could try the boots on properly. Excellent customer service.

Great service Jonathan was very helpful and knowledgeable in the footwear department.

Went to purchase a new pair of walking shoes & Jonathan was very helpful

Helpful staff who stopped what they were doing and took me to the various products i was interested in. Top quality customer care and good value for money

Jonathan was very helpful in assisting me to choose and purchase a new pair of hiking boots.

We went shopping for provisions for my daughter's first school week away at charterhouse. We must have looked lost after finding a coat, waterproof trousers when we were looking at waterproof shoes because a lovely male staff member came over and explained how best to measure her feet and which ones would be better for her trip.
We left feeling extremely confident in our purchases and loved that the membership card gave us a good discount as we bought alot!
Would highly recommend, friendly staff and an amazing array of choices. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jonathan was outstandingly helpful, bringing me several pairs of walking boots to try on, unasked. Yet not pushy and not sniffy about me wanting "cheap" boots. (Temporary pair while my expensive boots are sent off for repair, though I wouldn't call them THAT cheap!) Can't comment on the boots themselves yet, but the customer service was excellent.

Jonathan was extremly helpful and patient whilst I tried on several pairs of walking trainers/boots. Thanks for your advice & help.

Huge thank you to Jonathon for your help today. Delighted with the service.

Had the help of Johnathon from store today and trying to find the correct footwear that I required. He was very helpful indeed and got me the answers that footwear that I am looking for. Very warm and friendly experience and he had great knowledge that helped me.

We received brilliant service from Stuart at your Taunton store. We looked at a premium Páramo coat yesterday but wanted a day or so to think it over, as it was a big purchase. Stuart was friendly, helpful and understanding, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. He even managed to sort us out with a little extra discount, which we really appreciated.
A big thank you, Stuart! A credit to the store, and we’d happily recommend him to anyone!
