GO Outdoors - Torquay Reviews 

I visited the store with my son to purchase some items for an upcoming trip. Given my limited knowledge on this, I was so grateful to the staff members who listened to what we were needing and providing advice on what would be best.

Went to Go out doors Torquay to get my son's things for D of E, had no clue what I was looking for and was helped by a lovely staff member called David. He was super helpful and explained what the difference between different items where and offered great advise and opinions. Made what I thought was going to be a stressful shopping trip , non stressful and easy as possible . Will definitely go again .

We arrive at the store intent on purchasing a Cadac Safari Chef 30 and further to the intervention of Leon and his expert knowledge and expertise, left with a Cadac 2 Cook 3 double ring BBQ. Great product, great advice. Thanks Leon.

Excellent service at checkout and Rick was helpful and knowledgeable about the footwear.

I was welcomed by Lewis who directed me to the goods I wanted.
Roy was very helpful in finding a rucksack to suit me.
I was made to feel that my custom was important.
Overall a great customer experience from friendly and helpful staff who are clearly happy to work for Go Outdoors.

I went in to get some walking boots and I was viewing the many shoes that they had. Leon the employee that was up at the shoe at the time was good help and knew what he had in stock and what he didn't. Very good service would go again for my outdoor equipment.

Went in to purchase new walking boots for my son, received excellent support from David. His knowledge of the boots was great and also recommended some new socks.
My son is really pleased with the boots he purchased and service received. Great customer service on the till as well. Chatting about the boots, Ten Tors and practice walks!

We appreciated the time and advice given by the young man in the men’s shoe department, which really helped us make a decision. And Lewis on the till was equally amenable and friendly. Well done, Team Torquay!

Fabulous! I called to reserve an item over the phone and the staff kindly put it behind the till for me. On arrival we were greeted on the door and assisted by a very kind gentleman called Lewis. Totally painless and impressive service, thank you!!

Excellent and knowledgeable service buying walking boots and shoes. Membership also saved me a lot of money (but they don’t force it on you unlike some places). Very glad I found this store so nearby!

Our second visit since being in the area. As per our initial visit the staff were very friendly and helpful. In this particular instance Laura deserves a special mention, she’s a credit to the Company!

Came into store to find a backpack suitable for cycling, hydration and to fit my camera equipment. Penny was kind, friendly and knowledgeable helping to determine the best option for me, great asset to the business and the store she works in.

Having recently returned to the country, we were presently surprised at how wonderful customer service was at Go Outdoors. We were pretty clueless about what we needed but Tyler knew exactly where to go and what to get! He made the whole process pain-free and seamless. We will definitely be returning to this store in the foreseeable future.
