GO Outdoors - Trentham Gardens (Express) Reviews 

Went there Saturday and bought 4 travel towels. Joel was great, I couldn’t decide I should buy large or extra large so Joel opened one up to show me, then put it back to the package neatly for me. Great service!

I normally shop at the big out doors at festival park but whilst I was in Trentham with my partner I decided to use that store.
My first impression was how small it was compared to festival park one, however since I was only looking for a midge face net and midge spray that was OK, due to the time I was a bit rushed so I went to a member of staff to point me in the direction of said items, I spoke to a member called Joel who was busy up a ladder but stopped what he was doing to assist me and was a great help picking out the items I needed and let me try face net on to make sure it was what I needed.
I would recommend this store and would use it again when I'm in that area.

I needed some new walking shoes and Go Outdoors at Trentham is always our first port of call. There's always a good selection of all their products in various price ranges to suit everyone's pockets. On this occasion they'd not got my size in the one I'd orginally shown interest in but as they were expecting a delivery later on, we were happy to return back after lunch. They'd suggested we ring to make sure but we were still in the area so it was no trouble. When we went back I could have had my size in the one I thought I liked but another style had also come in and they were even better so I opted for them. 3 members of staff looked after me in all, with Adrian particularly giving me lots of information about the different styles and plenty of time to try them all on so I knew I was making the right decision. I always feel in the best of hands there.

He gave me great advice when i went to the Himalayas. He made me feel i bought produkte and not that He sold them.
Massive on integrity and knowledge and a manager in the making without hesitation.

Harper,James &Adrian all helped me make my purchases they were all very knowledgeable about the coat,boots & fleece I bought. They had loads of time for me, explained why they recommended what they did and listened to me saying how I intend using the equipment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Go outdoors to anyone. The staff are a credit to your company.

If you need bespoke advice on what your child needs for their first Duke of Edinburgh expedition this is the place to come! James was professional and attentive throughout our visit and without his guidance this shopping trip would have been incredibly challenging. James is currently working on his Gold award so has extensive first hand experience.
Shopping with a teenager is not for the faint of heart, and James made it actually a pleasant experience. Thank you James!

Good friendly customer service, great great recommendations on walking clothing

I have been to go outdoors a couple of time and the service is always amazing very helpful. I had james help me this time to get stuff for my daughter duke of edinburgh stuff I manage to get everything I needed because of his help, thank you.

Easy to order on the website, prompt delivery and competitive pricing

James was very knowlegable and offered great advice. He guided us to choose the right items for us and we purchashed everything we needed on our very big list! Really pleased with the choice on offer in the express store.

We used to go to the Stafford branch which has, very unfortunately, closed down. It would be great if a branch opened again in a different building in town.

Bought a pair of walking boots for my son. Joel was very helpful and patient.

Fantastic customer service from Joel and Adrian. I was shopping for my DofE Bronze Expedition and wanted to know what food and small essentials I would need. Joel was straight to the point and explained everything I would and wouldn't need. The GO outdoors membership is also definitely worth it, I saved over £35 on a £100 shop.

I was looking for a 25l rucksack and couldn’t believe I was able to get one for £9 x

The ordering of the items was very easy from the app. The items were click and collect from a local store however I understand that a new delivery system has been introduced using the shop app. This meant I got different dates of delivery and nothing at all from the shop.
I eventually got my items but I had to chase them up. Needs time to bed in the new system and improve communication

Adrian was polite, helpful without being pushy and gave excellent and knowledgeable advice

Joel was very polite and helpful and friendly. My membership card had expired and Joel renewed it enabling me to make use of the membership discount price for my new Merrell waking boots.
