Excellent customer service all round.
Great advice from super friendly staff who really know their stuff.
Steered us to all the right gear for DofE and for our holiday in the rain forest with some good advice on packing too.
Highly recommend Bethany and Delphi - brilliant and quick shopping experience!

We visited the York shop today and as always the store was clean and well presented. All of the staff were very attentive and welcoming and helped us with our enquiries. Sally on the checkout is a lovely and a credit to the store. She helped us change our address on our store card and was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend that others shop here.

The store was well set out. all products were easy to find and the staff very polite and friendly.

I couldn’t say enough nice things about Thomas in the bike section at Go Outdoors York today! He was amazingly helpful, my new bike was all ready and he had the patience to help my choose a helmet!

He was a fantastic ambassador for Go Outdoors and definitely deserves some recognition and haribo!!

Friendly, helpful staff

Hi, staff have been very helpful on 2 occasions when I have ended up arriving later than planned with less than 10 minutes to shop. They have been patient, friendly and happy to assist in finding equipment and sorting out discounts too. Also went on 14/05/24 with different staff member on the till and professional, friendly and helpful as well.

I needed guidance on camping gas. Tim on the shop floor was excellent. Informative and very helpful then Sally at the check out completed a very positive shopping experience. Exactly as it should be but unfortunately great customer service seems to be a dying art ! Well done team.

Found most of what we needed despite the store moving location and having limited stock. The staff we spoke with were friendly as always and Sally at the check out was lovely. Very dog friendly place.

The young gentlemen at the till had outstanding customer service.a credit to go outdoors. Excellent service.

I had to return a bag which I realised was too large and the young lad (I didn’t get his name!) was brilliantly helpful despite stating he was quite new and wasn’t quite sure of the returns policy.

He had advised on the bags/bag sizes and got the return sorted with another member of staff. A good example of how customer service should be!

Josh was great at helping me pick out a picnic table. He showed me how to make it sturdy and fold away afterwards.

Very friendly staff, but clearly a hopeless stock control system. Having checked online that the item I wanted was in stock at the York shop, I went to buy it. But nobody could find it. Short of time, I left, and later that day did a click & collect order. The following day I got an email cancelling the order as the item was not in stock at all.

I would just like to say a big thank you to Thomas the bike technician at the Foss Bank store York, I found him to be friendly. Knowledgeable and very helpful when purchasing my new bike, as a first time owner of an E bike I found his Instructions to be clear precise and not rushed I thought he gave outstanding customer service, many thanks.
