We got a range of camping items prior to festival season at good prices. Sally was really helpful - she held some items at the till whilst we looked round the rest of the store, made sure we also got our blue light card discount, and was really chatty and friendly with us at the till.

Fantastic customer service :)
Robin was fantastic yesterday! He helped me choose the right boots, explained how to check that they fit correctly and would be comfortable for long walks, and he showed me how to lace them so that they gave me ankle flexibility. It was great to get proper personalised help :)

Bethany is brilliant
Bethany at York is brilliant. I hate shopping being a septuagenarian male, but she was so patient, and knew her stock (clothing) so well, plus the other areas of stock. She reduced the options so that I could make decisions and I came away with everything I needed plus lots of helpful advice about wild camping for beginners! She’s obviously done the stuff herself and speaks from experience. Absolutely superb. She deserves a pay rise. And I’ll be back if I find I’ve missed something.

We only recently discovered this great GO Outdoors shop. There’s a fantastic range of goods and brands available all under one roof in a nice and spacious shop plus easy parking outside.
