Do not be duped. This company should not be posing for Amazon and then stealing Amazon sales. I trusted them behind the disguise of Amazon. After they took the sale and charge to account they add a new condition of "signature required." We all wish we read the reviews before calling / doing business. Stay clear from this company. Inform the public. Inform your bank. Inform Amazon of gpscity.com fraudulent / sadistic bad business conducts.

This is the most scandalous company I’ve EVER dealt with. They misrepresent their product on AMAZON and when returning a falsely claimed product they charged me $1/3 of the purchase price after one week for RESTOCKING! Sounds like a bogus TRUMP GIMMICK FROM THE USA! Oh wait are you guys an American company or just hawking CHINESE JUNK? Never use this company

Steer clear from this company. I purchased a GPS through their Amazon store and what showed up was not advertised. At a glance it’s the same model so I went ahead and hooked the GPS on my boat. This requires drilling a few new holes and some modifications, plus running new wires etc. once I turned it on I realized it was not the touchscreen model I ordered. I reached out to their customer service and was told it’s not their problem or fault because Amazon allegedly maintains their ads (which I doubted) and that they’d offer no compensation, promo codes etc. Only solution I was offered was a return on the product, which wasn’t going to work since I’d already had to modify the boat for the new GPS and I didn’t want to drill even more new holes. I let it go. Well fast forward 3 months and a friend asked where my screen cover was so I went back to the ad and it said it came with one, so once again I reached out and asked if it came with one or if that’s also an Amazon problem to which they said it’s not their problem and to stop contacting them and reach out to Amazon. So I did, and Amazon decided that they were being deceitful and unhelpful and made GPSCity refund my money as well as keep the GPS. They had several opportunities to make it right, and ended up losing a good chunk of money instead.

I’ve seen numerous negative reviews lately and the owner often replies and attempts to blame it on the customer (excellent service tactic). Take it how you will, but I’d steer clear from this company.

I ordered a Garmin power cable from them through Amazon on 04-02-2025. I received the cable on 04-19-2025 and the cable was cut in half. There was a not in the box from a previous customer stating that part was defective. Amazon told me that they would order a new cable and that it would arrive on 05-01-2025 even though i could buy a new one from thier site and i would have it on 04-23-2025. They told me that I would have to return the old part. They want me to drive 30 miles to UPS to ship the part back or pay $7.99 to have the part picked up from my residence.

From an ex-customer of GPs City Canada. Buyers beware. The return policy of GPS City Canada states a full refund of the item, not the order. I just learned today that the initial shipment cost is NOT refunded. And since I had to pay for the return shipment, in effect I have paid twice for the shipment of an item I did not want, no matter why.

I placed an order for a small, lightweight $20 item from GPSCity. It would be shipped via ground from Las Vegas to CA. At no point during the checkout process were the shipping charges clearly displayed or obvious. When the item arrived and I looked at the enclosed invoice, GPSCity had charged me $50 to ship this small, very lightweight box. Unreal! What an absolutely scumbag thing to do. If I had any indication that they were going to do this I would have never placed the transaction. Stay far away from this online store, do not place orders here. I am trying to get that money back through my CC company.

I ordered or tried to order a Triple shot transducer and was very explicit what I wanted... When I got the confirmation what they were shipping me was in fact this item.. When I called back to verify that this was the tripleshot the rep said it was yet when I looked up the part number on Amazon it wasnt... When the part shipped I got an email with the shipping and what shipped and again no mention of the tripleshot so again I called to verify... I was rudely told that this was my 3rd call about this and that they in fact shipped the tripleshot and the rep refuse to look up the part number to verify ... well I received the transducer and sure enough it WASNT the tripleshot as I had been asking for... So bottom line I would not recommend buying anything from GPS City for fear I wont get what I wanted and or having to deal with their customer service

I received an email stating my credit card company said my address was wrong, however when I checked my credit card the transaction had already gone through. The rep stated that it was flagged by GPS CITY. The rep would not provide me with any other numbers or any information on how I could clear this up. When I went to the website and clicked on support chat the same rep was on chat as well. I felt disrespected.

Placed and order. Did not give me update when something was back orders.Didn’t inform about pick rules. Rude on the phone. Only solution they offered was to cancel the order

Avoid is the best advice I can offer. Yes they will answer your enquiries but the reply will be no answer at all. Just a blind reply from a list of answers they have in front of them. and what can only amount to Cheek as a blind reply, Imagine talking to a parrot. They did not pass on Fedex info in order for me to collect the item I purchased, Weeks passed before i could get my item and that was after stopping a Fedex driver and asking him to find my item. Now months after getting the item im being taken to court by Fedex for a bill This lot should have paid or notifying me there was a problem...Disaster..AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Buy from a reputable seller like REI or Moosejaw. They charge exorbitant restocking fees on items sent back in unopened condition even when they state they want. Claimed item was used and refuse to refund me the restocking fee. Shady business practices.

I've had nothing but great experiences here over 8+ years buying all kinds of gear, both new and refurbished. They process orders promptly, and ship out very quickly too! Be aware that their expected dates for "in-stock" are just estimates, and like every business in the world right now, logistics and shipping delays are far beyond their control. I have no doubt that they're doing their best. That said, I've purchased at least one item with an expected in-stock date in the future, and there were no delays at all. I'll happily keep buying from them in the future.

Ordered Garmin LiveScope 34 and few accessories. Paid with my card over 2000$. Got email that they are not happy with my card, and I need to send them bunch of documents and scans of BOTH sides of my credit card !!!. I tried to ask the guy on customer line wth. He said "I do know, "It may take few days", "no guarantees". So I canceled my order and still didn't get money back. Card provider said it can take up to 1 week to get your money back. Never show non of your credit card pictures to anyone ! GPS scammers !. BTW, I bought Garmin from other online shop with same card, confirmed and send very same day.

I have been doing business with GPS City for as long as I can remember, at least 10-15 years. They are my go to source for all things Garmin and Ram mount. The only time I go elsewhere is if I have a support issue that must be addressed by Garmin. Otherwise I turn to GPS City for all my GPS, watch and Ram Mount needs. Their service can't be beat and their responsiveness is better than 99% of other online vendors. Highly recommended.

I was shopping around for Garmin Livescope System. I saw that GPScity listed the item will be in stock on April 25th, 2022. I was suspicious of the in stock date. Every other sites had this item in backorder, or earliest in stock date was May 2nd. But due to the timing of my first trip with my family, I took a risk and cancelled my pre-order from BassPro and placed an order with GPScity.
On April 25th, I contacted GPScity regarding the status of my order via online support chat. The representative (Joey) said the item is currently not available until mid May. GPScity apparently didn't update their website. How convenient for them to make such mistakes? I fell for their trap. I ended up losing my place that I cancelled my pre-order and would not able to get the item I wanted in time for my trip. Buyers, please becareful of this GPScity. Don't trust this website. And definitely do not cancel your orders from elsewhere to purchase your item from this site.

Purchased a supposedly new GPS from GPScity.ca 2 months ago. Didn't work correctly since day one and potentially was a re-manufactured or open box item. Unit stopped working completely last week. Support seemed to take pleasure in refusing to stand behind their sale and referred me to the manufacturer. Save yourself the headache and find a seller who stands behind what they sell.

My first purchase with GPS CITY was good. I was looking for a Ram
Mount Quick Grip XL phone holder and they were the only ones that had it in stock but could also could ship fast. Ordered it one day and I paid for over night shipping. They did their part and FedEx did theirs. I got my purchase right on time.

I use this company to purchase an item off of eBay and had nothing but issues when I needed to return an item they said it was damaged when it didn't even leave the original packaging and charged me $300 and said it was a non-resellable item and they didn't send a return packaging slip you have to pay for your own returns would not recommend!!!

The most terrible service in the world, I ordered a watch for my son, at first I was inundated with requests for documents, then after 3 days I threw them off I was told that the person who should check these documents was not available at the workplace, in the end I was told that I needed to make an account paypal !! WORST STORE IN THE WORLD !!

Good products, delivered quickly. Only complaint is I live within a few km of the store but I could only have the watch shipped directly from the same store. Pickup was not available at checkout.
