Too many irrelevant questions when you’re in severe pain
I used GP Triage on 13 October, and it was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had trying to get medical help.
When you’re in excruciating pain, the last thing you want is to work through page after page of questions, many of which had nothing to do with my problem. The process felt long, repetitive and badly suited to someone who urgently needs care.
I raised this with my practice, but I was disappointed with their response. I understand the system may be a cheaper option for practices, but it shouldn’t come at the cost of patients’ experience. My wife’s practice uses a different online system, and it’s far simpler and easier to use.
I’d urge the GP Triage team to look at this seriously and cut the number of questions so they’re relevant to what the patient is actually reporting. As it stands, I can’t recommend this system.
I was also surprised that GP Triage didn’t already have a Trustpilot page, given how many patients must use it. I’d encourage other patients to share their experiences here too.
