STAY AWAY!!!

At first the ordering process was easy and the chair arrived without issues. Unfortunately that’s where the good experience ended.

After only 11 months the chair started failing the armrests snapped and the screw housing seized, making the chair impossible to dismantle or properly repair. This is a $200 chair that should reasonably last much longer than a year.

I contacted the company asking for a replacement or refund under NZ consumer law. Instead of addressing the fault properly, they dragged me through nearly two weeks of back-and-forward emails, repeatedly offering replacement parts for a chair that is clearly defective as a whole. I explained multiple times that part replacement would not fix the issue, but they ignored this and kept pushing the same solution.

A business should stand behind the quality of what they sell. This felt like deliberate stalling to avoid providing a proper remedy. I am now lodging formal complaints.

Be cautious spending your money here if something goes wrong, expect a fight rather than support.

As per the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, our process is to first offer repair or replacement parts where the issue can reasonably be fixed. If the problem cannot be resolved, we can then proceed with further assessment which may lead to a replacement or refund.

This company is a joke it doesn’t standby its products in terms of warranty… the customer service is appalling they communicate by emails and be prepared if you have a problem you’ll get heaps of emails with no conclusion at all, just stalling tactics keep away from this company

Worst customer service

One star is generous. My husband and I purchased two tents for a family reunion, held at the end of December. When erecting them, one buckled, Velcro connections ripped, etc, we couldn't use either as wouldn't of been enough room for all of us in one. Asked for a refund for the faulty one on January 16th to be told, they don't but would send out parts to fix. After providing evidence re photos of it actually showing it being erected and faults, still no glory. This has been ongoing back and forth since then. Last correspondence May 26th, they were getting supplier to send parts, still nothing as of today. We are over it, if YOU use a supplier, then you sort. We will never use this 'company' again. Absolute rip off and now a tent that we can't use or sell. Big fat ZERO to one star!

Great Customer Service and Prompt Resolution

I recently purchased a product (Gaming Wheel Stand) from local_trader on Trademe and had a minor issue with the painted surface. I reached out to their support team, and they responded quickly and professionally. They reviewed the concern and offered a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, which was processed promptly.

The delivery was fast, and the communication throughout was excellent. While the product quality could be improved slightly, the customer service was outstanding and made up for the issue.

I appreciate their commitment to resolving concerns and would be happy to shop with them again.

bought bookshelves with cupboards

bought bookshelves with cupboards. Look ok. Parts missing and had to send for them. they arrived quickly. BUT. shoddy products, chips, cracks, even foot prints on the pieces. Had to get my white paint out. Nothing to cover multitude of screw heads so had to buy caps. Will do the trick , but won't buy again.

Boat cover

Boat cover was not as shown in the picture on line - close but it did not fit my boat. Company was good to deal with returns and refunded my payment. Would have been nice to have a persons name to use when corresponding rather than the shop name.

Excellent technical support

Fast delivery. The automatic desk instructions from the manufacturer were not very clear. Grabstore support was very responsive in providing support and following up manufacturer for technical information. Resolved the issue and everything works fine now.
