I visited Graham's Colchester at 9:29am this morning to order a complete bathroom excluding the bath. The Showroom was open but not a single member of staff in there, I walked around for 9 minutes and even walked passed all the staff only doors, looked through the windows and no one around. I shouldn't have to find a member of staff surely. I gave up and went next door who were happy to take £11.5k off me, I have photos & video to prove it. How can you sell anything if no one's there to serve?

Graham’s plumbers merchant Hillington. Had been trying to source a new toilet seat for our bathroom which was installed in 2012. I finally managed to source the supplier who was trade only. I phoned Grahams and spoke to Allison who was lovely. She offered to phone them for me. Our seat had been discontinued but they had a replacement. She called me and I asked her to order which she did. That was on the Friday and I picked the seat up on the Monday. I had been searching the internet and various plumbing companies for months and not one was able to help. A very good service and Alison was really helpful and pleasant to deal with. The replacement model fits beautifully otherwise it would have been a new toilet and a lot of expense and upheaval.
What a complete waste of time! We wasted 2 Saturdays working up a layout and products for our 2 bathrooms and on each occasion we didn’t get the plan or cost sent through despite repeated calls from us asking can you please email them. We were met with oh haven’t you got them, must be a firewall issue. So we have taken our business elsewhere..
We received the wrong toilet cistern and basin (still waiting for the basin to be corrected) but we did receive items we hadnt ordered
Not very organised and clearly didnt listen to our needs
Ordered part paid extra for next day carriage, assured will be in next day and will get a call to confirm part ready to collect got no call. I had to call for update no one could locate the part in their warehouse, to only later be told there couldn't get it in for day nor able to give guarantee will be delivered following day, if i never enquired i would not have got a call to notify me of delay
Excellent service and good stock in store.
I have been using Graham Plumbers merchants in Whitehouse Industrial Estate for three years now.
The store has recently gone through an expensive make-over, almost complete with canned music.
With this make-over their sundry stock keeping has plummeted along with staff attitude to help their customers.
Time to look elsewhere for parts that keep HMO’s (that’s houses of multiple occupation) toilets/taps/immersion heaters in working order and the bread and butter of my business.
For all your fancy showroom you have slipped in my estimation of what a good plumbers merchant should be.
Please try harder.
Kristina made our first experience with Grahams an excellent one.
She was helpful in the showroom and offered a design plan to help me see visually, with her plan we changed the layout we were planning and it’s so much better. She really understands her products and advice was invaluable.
So surprised to read so many bad reviews. After long search in different bathroom suppliers we settled on Grahams since our last bathroom suite was bought there and has given great service after years (and years!!) . Leanne was so knowledgable and an excellent help in the planning and final choice of our new suite. We’re happy with the choice, quality and price. Due for delivery in next couple of weeks so hoping everything is ok and working. Will be updating this review if it’s not.
13:00 on 25/09/2023.
Seriously dangerous tailgating on a busy and congested M25 by driver BT17 URX. Absolutely ridiculous driver. Dash cam will be sent to the police.
Wow. Cowboys and liars is an understatement. Had a shower just over 4 years bear in mind the guarantee is 5 years.
A large crack appeared, where I was promised since April they would replace it.
Now in July, they have back tracked by saying the damage had been done by impact damage and are trying to blame us, from where we took delivery from them. No mention they may have damaged this as I can assure 1000000% we did not drop or hit this anywhere.
Reporting to Trading Standards now. Steer clear, they are closing branches so they will possibly take peoples money soon and liquidate. Nothing more they deserve anyway. awful company.
Blame myself for not reading reviews first, just look in general on pages like Trust Pilot before taking my word.
Just an angry but hard working honest person who now has to look elsewhere to find a trust worthy company but hopefully my lesson learnt.
Ordered item in April, still waiting, hit and miss service.
When we asked if there was a possibility of purchasing the item from the shop floor after waiting 5 months with every update having a new date of arrival I was told the manager would sell it to us with a discount of 10%, at this stage it should be offered FOC.
We have had a toilet refunded without our knowledge and the item not delivered as expected with the other 2 toilets as we are carrying out a major refurb.
We have purchased for a shower room a bathroom and a wet room using Grahams and to be treated as we have been is disgusting, not all staff are awful, the manager is non existent and appears uninterested, we are waiting 3 months for the two basins which we received the bases for in a previous delivery.
Do they even know what they have delivered and what is outstanding?
Have now issued Sales Orders with a new date which makes it look as if our original date of order was 26/05, probably due to a new IT system being put in whereby they lost details of our orders and cannot reference past orders.
Our bathroom is at last fitted but missing the final piece after lots of delays and having to hold back plumbers/electricians at a cost to ourselves, we would urge anyone thinking of going to Colchester Grahams to forget it, do they even have a customer complaints department, It all must be kept in-house which is very convenient... for them.
SHOCKING!
A certain Graham plumbers merchant branch in the south, After putting a review on Google has called me and has been rude to me. For either reason talking down to me and talking to me like a piece of dirt. How rude I shop else where because of the rudeness of staff and did not think it was a crime to leave a honest Google review.
I had ordered a complete en-suite refit from Grahams (Bournemouth / Poole) over three years ago and there was a problem recently with the shower head. Kevin Skinner of Grahams sorted out the problem immediately and to my complete satisfaction. There was no charge even though the product was no longer covered by warranty. I must say that Kevin offered some of the best customer service I've ever experienced from any building accessories trade. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them!
Be aware. They are selling items that are near their expiry date for full retail price. Also refused to take back the sealed item. Poor customer service as I had to chase them few times for the reply. AVOID
Top firm, always plenty in stock to view, and very friendly staff.
Graham Plumbers Merchant Poole Dorset
Refitting our shower room/toilet.
We visited their bathroom showroom in Poole. Kevin Skinner sales consultant was most attentive, patient, giving good advice and professional at all times. We will definitely use this company again.
Greedy Greedy firm all about taking advantage of people sent friend to Hastings branch for copper tube he’s just pulled his pants up after being ignored for 20 mins having to pay on a card no cash taken and one fifth more expensive than any other plumbing merchant well done guys big pat on the back I hope you are welcome in heaven with your master Saint Gobain!
At least Dick Turpin wore a mask well ahead of his time....?
the Maidenhead outfit after immense buggeration, approved a cash A/C for drain clearance acid. On turning up for a repeat order was told ' credit A/C terms only, fill in the same form you filled in before '. I gave up & paid cash for the same stuff suuplied by a business owner who didn't think I might mix the stuff into my grandchildren's porridge.
