Horsham branch - Julie in the showroom was most helpful when I placed our order. However, we are overall disappointed with the service from Grahams as we thought it would be a stress free experience and worth paying the extra money. When our plumber unpacked our order ready to install it he found wrong depth cabinets, missing bath panel, & a faulty toilet pan. Fortunately he was prepared to go back to Graham’s and rectify all the problems, so actually it was our plumber who had more stress than us. But it meant the completion of the work was delayed by a week.
Yes I have received money back to compensate for the errors but I still feel let down by what has happened and won’t be able to recommend them.
Roper Rhodes is one of their main suppliers and they seem incapable of sending out 2 toilet pans that are totally perfect!
We highly recommend Graham’s Horsham Branch. Thanks to the helpful staff but particularly to Julie. Always welcoming, cheerful and friendly Julie couldn’t have been more helpful in guiding us on choosing our bathroom, giving advice on products and connecting us to a superb bathroom fitter. All in all our entire experience from the start through to completion of our fitted bathroom was nothing short of five stars.
Ordered a new toilet system only to be sold a system and flush that ain't compatible. I had to tell them this at installation stage.
Agreed to order the new flush plate and I was advised I will be called once this has arrived. 3 weeks no call I have chased to be told it's coming from Germany and will be here Monday we will call you.
No call on the Monday again,so I called on Wednesday to be told it's here. Great service as usual from a Saint Gobain company. By far the worst company to deal with and you wonder why companies like Screwfix are heads above you.
If I could give "NO STARS", I would. I had ordered a standard chrome bend for bathroom and when received it found out it doesn't fit the standard pipe. Took to store and showed them both the pipe and the bend. They acknowledged that it doesn't fit and put the blame on supplier (Cavalier). For the past two weeks, I am being told supplier doesn't reply to emails and now being told that they can refund half the money (50/50) if I accept it. Considering the business I have lost in between and that none of it is my fault, it is totally unacceptable to expect that never mind to discuss it. I have stopped all my orders from them to see if they resolve it. If they don't I am going to another supplier.
Tried the Salisbury branch 4 times on Monday, not even an answer up there. When I did get through, none of the 3 part numbers were in stock in there despite the 'in stock' promise - major problem
Rang Devizes Branch three times between 0800 and 0840 today, 9/3/20. First call 10m32s, second 11m 6s. and third 5m10s. Never did get an answer just continuous monotonous automated voices telling me how important my call was to them and that all their staff were busy. Lousy service.
Graham’s Royston
Popped in this morning thought I would give a try as a local owner of Plumbing business 40years as they have been sending me promotional items since opening
Only wanted Fischer pan fix kit on display item 56000 £4.99 +vat 10% dearer than normally pay But hey that’s the price for convenience
When I went to pay was told item £9.50 inc vat and couldn't be changed!
I put back on hanger and left noting On way out that car park was empty at peak time unlike any Plumbfix or toolstation that would be rammed out With their transparent pricing and fair costs
The days of chancing your arm And shady tactics on prices are long gone The likes of Graham’s ,Wolseley ,Ridgeons have had their day no amount of pizza ovens outside of free bacon rolls will get me returning lol!
Delighted with service from Graham's Horsham Branch. Julie in particular provided excellent service in helping us plan our bathroom and make the key decisions. When the order arrived we have a problem with a damaged unit which was quickly and painlessly resolved. Thoroughly recommend the Horsham Branch.
I went in to my Bath store today to try and locate a small part for an old shower door. Jake and Josh couldn't have been more helpful, finding the part I needed and offering additional and brilliant advice. I fitted the part this evening and my shower door is working fine once again. Thank you!
They’re not a good company.
They allow their drivers to park on driveways and block adjoining neighbour driveways and don’t offer any apologies. They just fish for information on you!
Obviously no courtesy to others when carrying out their work.
No complaints procedure as far as I can tell so far when I asked to escalate my complaint it was like speaking to incompetence itself.
Also caught their driver waving their invoice or worksheet to another company crew like bragging how much they’d just charged my horrible neighbours for 10 mins. Cocky and shady. Van reg BK64 J
They shouldn’t be blocking my driveway and garage. No respect for others while they get their money. There is massive easy street parking, so just bizarre arrogance. Beware, I will make sure I never use their awful company.
I recently paid a visit to my local Graham store at Barbot Hall industrial estate Rotherham the two lads behind the counter were absolutely brilliant it took them a out 15 minutes to sort out my problem l would highly recommend this store Fantastic service very caring staff
I am a regular customer at Graham, the plumbers merchant and have been for a number of years -The Winchester branch manager and assistant are both fantastic, polite people and provide a brilliant customer service-the best they can within the boundaries of Graham’s failing organisation. Shamefully, their colleagues at other branches and the management have diabolically let them down and this is not the first time. A simple order for a boiler part was made. As they proudly claim on their website -same day or next day, they promised each day it would arrive but I waited and waited and after 10 days(!!!) I shouldn’t have been so loyal), I had to give up and go elsewhere. Elsewhere, I ordered the same part, it arrived before 9am next day, in time to fit the part for my freezing customer’s tenant. Meanwhile, the Grahams order still hasn’t arrived-it has been lost in transit/or translation more like! What a major cock-up and contrast in organisation between two rival merchants! I decided to make a complaint to head office, thinking they might try to resolve the issue and change my mind about taking my business elsewhere. My customer who is a landlady for the property, also complained because it put immense pressure on her business to provide her new tenant with a working boiler- but absolutely nobody from Grahams has responded to the complaints! The Winchester branch are not to blame for this mess, they have been very attentive throughout, apologetic and understanding. The management should take full responsibility for their inactions, otherwise they will lose hard working, conscientious staff. They have already lost my custom and gained a bad review. Do they care? No, they don’t seem to!!
Very much unpleasant experience in many ways.
Wrong items received, asked to pay for replacements, racist behavior at the ashford branch, a customer service rep who called today for feedback on one of their branches and ended up saying "good luck with your next supplier" when I asked her to escalate this in order for them to improve. Well apart from being careless, overpriced, arrogant and stupid they have a poor customer service whom is not bothered.
