STAY AWAY: Friendly Salesman, Fraudulent Repairs, Zero After-Care.

Please DO NOT be fooled by James's polite and friendly persona when buying a used car from him.

We bought a Vauxhall Mokka from him in late July. James promised in writing to replace the windscreen wiper motor with a brand new one. A few months after purchase, my partner was caught in heavy rain on a busy main road when the WIPERS FAILED. The local garage who repaired the car pulled out a HEAVILY CORRODED motor, that had clearly been sealed using sealant (PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTO'S ON GOOGLE REVIEWS)

James insisted that this was a "new part". We asked him to provide a VAT receipt, which he still HAS NOT produced. His vague emails in which he has not explained how a supposedly "new" motor would have this amount of rust and silicone, have been enough to know that you simply cannot trust this dealer. We have now decided to take him to the county court to recover the costs.

James comes across very friendly when he wants to take your money, but if you have any problems later on with the car you will soon see his attitude change. Save yourself your time, money and most importantly your safety and please go elsewhere.
