Continued great service!

We have purchased dance flooring from Great Mats twice now. Once for our expanding studio and then again as we move to a new larger location. The staff at Great Mats (Angie in particular!) were so helpful! Everything arrived just as they said and we are excited to install!!!

They Do The Job/Dark Grey Colour Royal Carpet Tiles

The mats arrived within days of ordering which was a plus. The whole system is easy to work with and does what it's supposed to to. We were able to do a 10.5' x 24" room with only one new cutting blade so don't think you'll need a bunch of blades to get the job done. Be aware that the "jig-saw puzzle" look will be distracting and I'm not sure if the tiles will blend in over time, though I suspect not. One issue however - a few of tiles arrived curled and were not able to lie flat on our concrete basement floor. Luckily we ordered more than needed just in case a mistake was made but ended up needing those to replace the curled ones. All in all we are happy with the purchase and would order again for a future project.

The mats are doing a great job!

The four mats I bought are doing a great job. I needed protection for my wood flooring and a surface that would prevent my rolling chair from rolling too easily, and the mats are doing the job.

I would give zero stars to this…

I would give zero stars to this company. Megan is the most unprofessional person. She’s rude and condescending. They sold me roof tiles that damaged my rubber roofing when I called back and sent pictures she told me oh well there’s nothing we can do and hung up on me and now they blocked their phone number. Stay away stay far away

Fast and Easy

Called in for an order for a large amount of floor mats, was met with a helpful CSR agent that quickly put my order in. Did not tell me a ETA, however our order came extremely quickly. Would shop again.

I like them but I’m disappointed

I bought these for my dog training room after visiting a friend who had some in her training building. I do like them for their firmness yet shock absorption, but I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed in the fact that after just the first use there are deep claw marks and tears. My dogs nails are kept trimmed. I would have thought that mats marketed specifically for agility would have held up a little better to that.

Please see the following, taken from the product page on the Greatmats website: Because of the softness of the foam, expect nail scuffing, puncturing, indentations, or other markings from the dog nails in the dog agility mats. This does concern some customers aesthetically when it initially occurs. However, these markings and indentations will not affect the performance or change the ability to deliver maximum anti-fatigue cushion and traction.

I ordered 30 pieces with over $1000.

I ordered 30 pieces with over $1000.
I suggested getting a sample but they sent me just thickness not connection part. I sent some pictures with connection but they didn't give anything information. I thought that they got pictures and comformed what I needed. Finally I got products but can't fit to old. Connection was totally different then mine. I couldn't use it. I tried to return what I got but they sent me massage which was " tape it or re-sell it." That it. I'm so disappointed this company.
I spent over $1000 for just 30 pieces.
Make sure when order it just double check it. Don't make a same mistake as me.

In reviewing email correspondence between this customer and their sales rep from before the order was placed, it was found that the customer was sent samples. They let us know that product did not match what they currently have and they requested an updated quote for 1" mats. Our rep sent this but also let the customer know the surface texture of the new mats would be different than their current mats, that they would not interlock with one another and there would likely be thickness variations. The customer made the choice to place the order. When they reached out to let us know the mats were not a match, we suggested it may be better financially to re-sell them locally to avoid paying for a freight shipment to return the material.

Recommended mats for my hair salon that…

Recommended mats for my hair salon that were not functional for a salon, then they fought me on my refund. Having to return this item, I paid the shipping twiceand not receiving a full refund, I lost money trusting in their recommendation.

This review is circling back to an order from April 2025. The customer planned to install the tiles over carpet. As stated in the disclaimer on the product page, results vary with this type of installation due to thickness of not only the carpet, but also the carpet pad. To assist with the customer's dissatisfaction, Greatmats covered half of the return shipping cost and also waived the restocking fee.

Would order this again if needed.

The product is great and the orders were accurate and timely communicated.
Mats interlock exactly as they were intended.
Salesman could use a little work on his people skills and I would have liked for him to communicate in a little friendlier manner. Nothing bad, just matter of fact.
