My wife and I organized a two week trip to India through Mayank at Greaves Travel during the fall of 2024 and are so glad we did. We stepped off the plane in Delhi to be met at the jetway by a VIP airport representative who whisked us through passport control and customs and turned us over to one of the Greaves Expediters, Harendra Rawat, who took us to the waiting driver and delivered us to the Oberoi New Delhi hotel where we were upgraded to a 1500 sf suite. That happened because of Greaves' connections. That pattern continued throughout the trip, which involved travel by train, car and planes to Agra, Amanbagh, Jaipur and Jodpur. Our wedding anniversary occurred while we were in Jaipur, at the Rambagh Palace hotel, and Greaves arranged a special celebration for us by the hotel staff - a really nice touch. All the hotels were wonderful and everything planned came off like clockwork. Greaves gave us a portable wifi device so we were always connected and they kept us advised in real time through their Vamoos site so we knew in advance when drivers and guides were arriving and if any changes were made to our itinerary. Traveling in India can be a logistical challenge, to put it mildly, but impeccable logistics and planning are Greaves strong suit. They made it seem effortless. Cars, guides and drivers were uniformly excellent - especially Mr. Singh who drove us from Agra to Jaipur. Greaves made our trip to India an exceptional experience!

The itinerary was beautifully organised by Poorva to meet our needs as par as places and travel was concerned. There was always someone on call to help locally even including airside at airports.
Wonderful tailored itinerary. Guides knowledgeable and very good English spoken. Drivers safe and competent. Vehicles very clean and refreshments provided.

From the start of the trip to the end Greaves organisation was faultless , everyone was on time and extremely helpful throughout.

India with Greaves was simply... amazing. I think it’s the only holiday when I ran out of adjectives around day 3. We were astonished, delighted and fascinated to visit all of the sights organised for us.
Communications from the first point of contact with the representative, Mayank, and throughout were excellent. The paperwork was all handled efficiently - and we liked the Vamoos app!
Greaves' ‘curating’ of the trip was outstanding. Front-loading visits to Varanasi and Amritsar was clever. The subsequent tour through Rajasthan was nearly as busy but was a steadier pace, which worked well.
The hotels were absolutely wonderful. The quality of service, the warmth of the welcome everywhere and, with many, the sheer beauty of the buildings and the grounds were a real pleasure to experience. They were also interestingly varied.
Every single point of contact with Greaves and their designated personnel was highly professional, timely, courteous, efficient and thoughtful. From the first meeting at Delhi Airport, where we were escorted through the airport, our baggage reclaimed for us and we were whisked away to the hotel, right up to being dropped off at Mumbai airport, we felt very well looked after. Every single one of our guides was exceptional in terms of their expertise, organisation and professionalism, and our driver was every bit as good.
We really appreciated the provision of the internet hotspot device on our arrival as we’d reconciled ourselves to only accessing data on hotel wifi due to the complications of obtaining any form of roaming agreement with our service providers. Setting up the WhatsApp group with our guide was a great idea.
We’ve travelled extensively throughout the world and have rarely experienced such a combination of visiting such an astonishing place, and being so well looked after before and during our trip.
Five stars? No: if I had six stars to award I’d still be temped to ask for a seventh.

Our whole tour of India was amazing all the tour guides were so knowledgeable and very accommodating at every destination. The company kept us well informed throughout our trip.Our driver was particularly good.We had an incredible trip and we would recommend using Greaves to everybody thinking of travelling to any of their destinations, as I am sure we will.

Greaves put together a fantastic 4 week tour of India full of interest and colour. The guides, drivers, hotels and tours chosen by them were all excellent and everything worked seamlessly, Mayank was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, we can't thank him enough, we have no hesitation in recommending Greaves for all travel needs in India and the surrounding areas.

Being met off the plane at the gate and taken through the Passport and Customs procedures made the process easy and quick.
Having drivers who were experienced and able to navigate the traffic conditions was both necessary and reduced stress levels.

Greaves put together a tailor made tour of southern India for ourselves and some friends. We were delighted with all aspects from our lovely and well chosen hotels to the sites we visited to our excellent driver. We have used Greaves several times and can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Greaves UK planned and executed a fabulous trip to northern India for us, it truly exceeded expectations! From arrival in Delhi until our departure we were very well taken care of. Our lodging was beautiful and Mayank did a wonderful job listening to our desires and scheduling around them. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

A foreign tourist needs back up and help with logistics when travelling around India and this provided at every point, very impressed.

We used Greaves for a bespoke 2 week trip to India for my wife (52 yo) and me (60 yo). We could not have been more pleased with every part of this journey that Greaves planned for us. The itinerary and logistics were perfect, and we felt the presence and oversight from Greaves at every stage of the trip. We were very grateful for their excellent customer service and dedication to making guests feel safe, secure, and well cared for in a country that can be confusing and hard to navigate for people who are first time travelers to India.

We were also incredibly happy with our tour escort that Greaves matched us with. She took care of every detail of our trip every single day with a smile and a sense of humor. She was very knowledgeable and a delightfully fun tour escort. We could not imagine a better guide for our trip.

If you are considering a trip to India, we cannot recommend Greaves more highly. They do cater to people of means so be prepared to spend a fair amount of money, however we compared Greaves with several other very well known and well regarded travel agencies and Greaves was substantially cheaper for almost the exact same itinerary. So cost is all relative...

We would strongly recommend Greaves on the experience of putting together 3 custom made holidays in India. Huge knowledge, wonderful Indian courtesy, seamless travel with safe and courteous drivers and guides who seem the pick of the team! They really do want to make it a trip to remember and it feels good to be dealing with a company from India in London…. best of both worlds!

Greaves have unrivalled knowledge of India and have put together some wonderful trips for us. They respond quickly and are very efficient at the bookings. But the best thing is their ability to use really first class agents on the ground, both guides and drivers, which makes a trips very special.
