This is an incredible company. The installation of solar panels and batteries has transformed my entire relationship with energy and electricity in my home. To say that I have become a little obsessed with checking my app to see how much charge my battery system has, is an understatement. I love it. It is really empowering as a homeowner, especially at these times of rising energy prices and climate concerns to understand how you are using energy. As for the service provided I can not fault it. It was flawless. From the initial assessment of my property by Harriet, who was able to answer all my questions to the aftercare service – it has been fantastic. The installation process was so quick and so pain free. The installation team were polite, friendly and again able to answer all my questions. They worked non-stop throughout the day and were even able to fit more panels on than I first thought. I can not recommend this company enough for the level of knowledge and service they offer. Prior to engaging with Green Building Renewables I’d had several negative experiences with solar companies' sales teams but from the very first interaction with this company I felt cared for and most importantly I trusted them. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Battery system and inverter installed in a day. Its use during August and September reduced my electricity consumption by 90%. Nice people, quick installation, fantastic performance.

Great service from start to finish. Mark came out and did a detailed quotation for our solar panels and battery storage and the written quotation arrived within a couple of days. The panels and batteries were installed a couple of weeks later - everything about the installation was professional from putting up the scaffolding to setting up the app so we can monitor usage and energy generation. The necessary documents to enable us to apply for Outgoing Octopus were supplied promptly. Altogether a great experience - would highly recommend.

Visited my home to make the assessment, no other company did. Assessor was very thorough. Installation was quick and efficient. Staff worked hard and resolved any problems that arose with good humour and tenacity.

Excellent communications throughout a long lead time for a Tesla Powerwall and Gateway installation to complement the already installed solar PV. Engineers arrived as planned and did a very professional job during the install and commissioning. They were able to answer all my questions and always asked my opinion on siting of items prior to final fixing. They also did a very thorough job of tidying up before they left. Would definitely recommend.

We had solar panels and a battery system fitted on our Victorian house. From the start, the company was very professional and very helpful. The installation was done in the day, as promised. All the team were very efficient and answered all our queries happily. The end product is a system that works very well, looks excellent and helps us do our bit towards reducing fossil fuel use. We will use the company again without hesitation and are very happy to recommend them. Next stop a heat pump, when we can afford it!

A great service from start to finish. Very flexible with late changes to specifications. Just had an engineer turn up one month after installation to check everything is ok. Very professional operation. Would recommend.

This is a first class company dedicated to ensure customer delivery and service experience. The initial consultation was informative and professional ensuring that all of our solar needs were addressed.
The scaffolders and installation team were professional and informative of the installation process which proceeded rapidly within the allocated day. The end installation is exactly what we wanted and delivers our solar expectations. We were particularly impressed with the skill and work carried out on the day with the teams.

A great job done really efficiently. Scaffolding up Monday, panels fitted Tuesday, scaffolding down on Wednesday.

Fantastic service and installation from the team. Docked 1 star due to dealings around the scaffolding. Not the fault of GBR but rather their choice of scaffolding company.

We had solar panels fitted by Green Building Renewables. They arrived when they said they would and got the whole job done in the day, even staying to 8.30pm. The guys who did the installation were extremely hard working and polite. The solar panels look very neat and unobtrusive and their workmanship was great. We asked them to come back and explain the App to us which they promptly did. I would definitely recommend them. The installers were all local which was great when you are having people traipsing through your house.

In August we had 17 recessed panels, the IBoost for hot water and an 8kwh battery installed on a East / West facing system. The works were done alongside a re roofing exercise.
Throughout the entire process Green Building Renewables (GBR) were helpful and provided the further information we requested. The installation team were very professional, worked seamlessly as a team and provided a very neat installation with all the additional flashing around the recessed panels ready for the roofers to complete the roof tiling.
We would throughly recomend GBR.
Whilst it is late summer, so far the performance of the system is in line with annual figure advised by GBR. Our electric consumption is down around 90% and our gas consumption (hot water being obtained via the I Boost not gas boiler) down 50%. As we move into winter, the savings won't be as good as this, but will still be substantial.
