Buying online can be an anxious trade, especially for expensive items like cars. Not long ago we travelled from Cheshire to Ipswich to check out my wife's purchase of a Volvo. Just before Christmas, my Volvo XC70 died with its tyres on. Twenty years of loyal service. My wife not keen on me driving her C30, she searched online and found Greenpoint in Epping and a V50. Richard responded quickly to our enquiry, supplying numerous photos from every angle. The sale was agreed quickly and efficiently. Richard delivered last Friday morning. The car is spotless and as described. Very happy.

Dealing with William and Richard of Greenpoint Car Sales Ltd, has been a simple and rewarding process from start to finish. I saw a vehicle I was interested in, on Autotrader, and took the link to the website. It was very close to Christmas; and as I live the other side of the country, William sent lots of high quality photos, and a video. (I’d seen the quality of their videos previously on YouTube when looking for a car)
The car was for my elderly mother, and Greenpoint took a small deposit, MOT’d the vehicle and made sure it had no advisory’s… then, delivered the car to me in west Wales (today) 29 th December 2023….. Car was even better than expected, fully valeted and even had half tank of fuel.
Thanks William for your excellent service, and fulfilling every promise… thanks Richard, for delivering across the country ‘For Free’.

Highly recommend Greenpoint cars. Amazing customer service and communication from the beginning - rapid replies and regular updates. Even got a good price in part exchange for my old car (not even running!). Overall really impressed and recommend.

I wish zero stars was an option.
This company purchased my late mother's vehicle via Motorway. Turned up to collect the vehicle from my 90 year old father and started negotiating the price down and applying pressure to a vulnerable old person, eventually only paying 65% of the winning bid price. I persued, but father asked not to continue as was finding the whole experience very distressing following the bereavement. Shameless.

Same story as other one star reviews. 'Sold' the car via Motorway and then have been repeatedly let down by Richard ever since. Really unreliable and untrustworthy and the text messages took a weird slightly abusive tone before I requested that they didn't contact me further. Over a two week period he arranged to pick up the car 3 times and cancelled at short notice on each occasions. I'm assuming the 5-star reviews are from friends of theirs.

Both Will and Richard was a pleasure to do business with. A small family business went above and beyond to accommodate, viewed the car on a Sunday and just so happened I was lucky enough to get next day delivery slot, great service, most Polite people and efficient service! Would 100% recommend and use again

This company agreed to buy my car via an internet car selling company. They repeatedly let me down regarding collection without explanation and sometimes without even notification. When I pressed for a time and date to collect I was told to "bear with me or cancel". I again asked for a time and date and was ignored so I cancelled. To top it off, they were advertising my car on their website despite not having actually bought the vehicle, including comments like "drives beuatifully" which it does but he couldn't know having never driven it. Be very careful - this is an untrustworthy and unreliable operation.

Bought a Volvo C70 from them online January 2023, I was assured the car was tip top, and they assured me they follow the Consumers Act 2015 which gave me confidence that any issues would be dealt with !

They delivered the car and again assured me I needn't do a thing to it other than insure it, but to my horror after just 24 hours of ownership I had a knocking noise from the back of the car, so I booked the car into a garage to inspect the car, not only did they find where the knocking noise was coming from, but also found many serious issues, including both rear shock absorbers were ineffective and leaking oil (MOT failure) both drop links completely worn out, noisy rear wheel bearing, buckled front wheels, brake judder when braking hard at high speed, but many other issues too numerous to mention here !

But when I contacted Greenpoint Car Sales they were not interested, said the car had an MOT, so as far as they were concerned the car was fine, so, the motto is don't believe a word they say, typical car sales blurb, beware of this company, if your car goes wrong they will not be interested in fixing it despite claiming they follow the Consumers act 2015 !

I decided to check the previous MOTs the car was given prior to Greenpoint Car Sales took ownership, many advisories were apparent in two of the previous MOTs, yet when Greenpoint CarSales had it MOTd to sell the car, those advisories disappeared, but miraculously reappeared when I had the car inspected by my chosen garage just 7 weeks later ! Beware, be very aware of the MOTs they put on the cars they sell !

Excellent service, wonderful, experienced, very caring family run business,I feel very lucky & satisfied to have had the pleasure to, acquire my Volvo v70,2009 , immaculate,had slight issue with battery, once I got home,yet this was swiftly dealt,and , after care with these guys is exceptional.
