Many customers found the customer service to be extremely poor, citing difficulties in reaching a representative and receiving unhelpful or misleading information. Reviewers frequently encountered issues with payments, including unexpected fees, high interest rates, and problems with processing transactions, leading to higher overall costs than anticipated. This is the worst credit company I have…

This is the worst credit company I have ever had to interact with. Andersen Windows had my father take out a loan through Green Sky for window replacements. My father passed away and my brother and myself are trying to settle the account. We just need a payoff amount, loan number and payoff address. I ve wasted hours on the phone with them while I jump through hoops with the first person who says they will transfer me to an account specialist, only to get to an account specialist who won’t help. We have provided them with all the required documents to attend to the account on our fathers behalf but still get the same run around getting passed from person to person ever 15 minutes. I am very sure they are playing a stall game so we miss the payoff deadline. We are getting a lawyer involved.

GreenSky took out an unathrize payment amount.

On June 28,2025 I used the automated system to pay bill 331.87. On July 1,2025 They took the amount of 666.07. I know that I did not agree to pay that amount of 666.07. On today July 2th when I called in to ask if we could fix it because I know what I wanted to pay 331.87, the representee was not helpful, She had me on hold for a long which she did apologize for but then the phone hung up and she did not call back and I know she have my number because of the verification of the caller which she done at the beginning of the call. I would like to get the other half of my money back.

GreenSky LLC handled the financing for 3DayBlinds

GreenSky LLC handled the financing for multiple 3DayBlinds purchases from 9/2024. 3DayBlinds was extremely difficult to deal with and delivered poor merchandise. Two huge orders were returned. The first return, GreenSky handled professionally since I dealt with a GS account manager, Tina, and funds were properly refunded.
But, the most recent order to be returned was over $2,300.00 and GreenSky could not figure out the remaining balance and send statements accordingly within the contracted 12 mos same as cash contract. They continued to bill me more than my balance for 2 statements. The no interest was to end 9/2025 but GS added finance charges.
Chat online was useless as believe it was outsourced overseas and reps are reading a screen without understanding. Since the remaining balance was low, I just paid it off today and unable to take advantage of the 12 month no interest offer.
What's hysterical is the payoff letter, emailed but not requested, contradicted itself.
This finance company is supposedly connected to Synovis Bank and would never use either again when purchasing a high priced item and offered a no financing program by GreenSky.

We recently opened a loan for solar…

We recently opened a loan for solar panels and whole house batteries. GreenSky released %50 ($19,000) to the vendor before checking if the work eas done. The vendor went bankrupt. So by thevtime I was notified of thecrelease of funds, the money was gone. Then they held mevto pay the $19,000.00 because they said it was in my agreement. I am still trying to get to binding arbitration but they put up so many barriers I am worried aboit my stellar credit. If I knew how low their business stamdards are I would have NEVER done business with them. This is my opinion of GreenSky. Do your due diligence. I thought I did.
P.S. when you call customer relations you will get the run around. Very unprofessional on the phone. They will say? "Weare so sorry you had a negative experience." Then they will do nothing to make it right. Just my opinion.

I have now entered my correct routing…

I have now entered my correct routing and bank account information (3) times to begin payment on a home improvement project.

Each time I have received a "payment cannot be processed".

I contacted them and they repeatedly said it was on "my end"... hmm I have had the same checking account for 20yrs and I know my routing and account number.

Something is not right.

Finally, they contacted me. Blamed me for entering the wrong checking account number, but would not provide me with screen shots from their system to prove it, if I was in the wrong I could admit it.

They had no problem processing my payment, will be taking screen shots going forward of what I enter.

Get another lender

Who would expect "Goldman Sachs" to have a loan subsidiary that goes out of their way to deceive the average loan-holder? I exhaled today making my final payment for ANDERSON WINDOWS for zero interest, but it was NOT a good deal. I paid it off using balance transfers to get more time with zero interest. Avoid GreenSky. Their statements are deceptive in showing exorbitant interest charges during the "0 interest" payment period and you have to dig to find the true current balance. The average consumer will be alarmed by their presentation of the statement alone. It's stressful to get ANY loan, but "zero interest" should create less stress. They go way out of their way to dangle interest charges (that are ridiculous) in front of you at every turn to scare you and make themselves look powerful and onerous. And this is only the beginning. I've no doubt the other practices are riddled with this posture and that deceptive lending is part of their shict.

I can't believe that Ohio Basement Authority, in Columbus Ohio, had me take out a loan with Greensky loans. I have not received any information or communication with this company about my loan. Not sure how to pay my loan, balance or anything else. Never again will I deal with Ohio Basement Authority or Greensky.

charged for product I never received

I signed up for a loan three years ago to install solar panels but have yet to receive the product for my homes. The last contact with the solar company was on September 11, 2023, when they informed me that the original plans for my home would not work and that they would reach out to the city of Denver to review new structural plans. At that point, I asked the solar company to cancel the project, as it had already exceeded the quoted one-year timeline.

Since then, I have not heard from the solar company, but the loan provider has continued to charge me for a product that was never installed. When I explained the situation to the loan provider, they stated they would reach out to the solar company but were ignored.

As a result, I have now been reported as delinquent on the loan payments for solar equipment that was never delivered. This has severely impacted my credit score, and I have yet to find a resolution with Green Sky or the solar company.

Lousy service

Just used this company to cover a new furnace at recommendation of furnace company. I haven't received loan docs, statements etc. That I was specifically told would be mailed.
Bank bill pay sent payment a full week before due date with guarantee of timely delivery...but 2 weeks later no record of receipt. I called to ask and was told holidays might delay posting. Finally posted 9 days past due date. Since this is a zero interest loan and late payments can void that and result in hefty interest charges I'm concerned. Their rep assured me late posting won't affect terms...but she also promised to mail loan docs and statement, which never happened. I sure wish I'd looked up reviews before committing, but I trusted my contractor. Big mistake.
I just have to hope for the best. I will reschedule my bill pay for 2.5 weeks before due date so it cannot possibly be late even if they sit on payment again. So far it seems to be a good deal with really lousy service. Cross fingers.

You should be thankful if GreenSky…

You should be thankful if GreenSky turned you down… they accepted me & my stupid self signed the paperwork & did not read the fine print. If someone had said “oh,& btw- we will be charging you $100 a month IN INTEREST ONLY!!! I am on a strict budget but was stuck.. Homeowners insurance would not cover me if I didn’t get a new roof & hurricane season was getting closer. So I go to Swordsmen roofing who makes me think that they are loaning me the $ / GreenSky & Swordsmen must have some kind of scam running together. I will NEVER be able to get out from under this while paying $133 a month & $100 is interest alone! I can’t believe SwordsMen referred me to the worst finance company ever!

Green Sky won’t fund loans…

Green Sky won’t tell building contractors that if their sales are less than 3 million they will only fund 20% of the loan amount which means the contractor needs to fund the job. Why would any contractor or homeowner want to be involved if they are not going to fund the job. Contractors are not going to finish the job if they don’t get paid. It just feels like a scam. Check their horrible reviews. RUN!

Like every other company of this…

Like every other company of this nature, they have completely insufficient telephone support. Why these various companies dont have about enough the support to keep the hold times under 5 minutes is ridiculous. They seem like that just savor the idea of torturing us with voice mail jail and extended hold times if you ever manage to break free.

Scam ,the worst financial company

GreenSky does not protect the consumer, gives all the money to the contractor and does not investigate the contractors well, REBATH HEAVEN entered my house offering great service, the project was 2 bathrooms, flooring of the entire house and patio for $ 35k which would be financed through GreenSky, REBATH HEAVEN turned out to be a scam, they broke my bathroom and master bedroom, they started doing everything wrong, and when they were complained about they got lost, they did not finish the job, in fact they closed their comapany. I had to finish it myself by my own means and after 6 months of investigation GreenSky decided to charge me 21k for that scam. For me both Rebath Heaven and GreenSky are scammers.

HORRIBLE merchant service

Horrible merchant service. I am contractor that does between 1.5 - 2 million a year in financed sales and I spent hours filling out forms and got approved to use Greensky. I signed all the esign docs, gave them banking info, and obtained an account number. Didnt hear from them for a month and reached out to when they would be calling to walk me through thier process. Customer service agent said they had me in wrong category as not approved but I was approved and would take few days to correct but could use them in meantime. I spent about an hour on the phone with her getting the details I needed to unleash it to my sales team. I then spent two hours training my sales staff how to use it. Yesterday had three sales and all three times they couldnt use system. Call today and account was terminated. Why? I dont know but I utilize three national brands anyway for my lending needs. What bothers me is this company is complete time waster. If your a contractor needing financing for your clients I highly recommend Enerbank, Synchrony, Watercress, or Service Finance. The costs are lower and customer service is by far better. They have ONE decent plan I could of used as a backup to my main lenders, which is why I even bothered, but the fees are incredibly high in my opinion. I am 33 years in the business of contracting and offering financing to my client base and I can assure you I have never received such poor and inept customer service.

I am being charge 170.00 a month just for interest. So I went to get larger amount on my credit card so I could pay off this loan. Come to find out that they will not accept credit card payments.!!! WTH! I made the mistake of signing a tablet. I was no aware of the loan and the tactics for one month after I signed the tablet. My floors were already in by that time. I just want to pay off the loan. I feel so stupid for allowing this to happen and listening to the sales person from Refloor.
