Very poor online chat bot and live…

Very poor online chat bot and live chat. Seemed very restricted of what could be resolved remotely. Massive £55 charge to cancel within the 14 online grace period. Won't consider using again.

Grove & Dean = Performance Direct? :(

After signing up for what I understood to be a classic car insurance, I was asked for a photograph of my car in my garage. No issue - photograph supplied.

However this rang alarm bells. I've only seen this once before, from a company called Performance Direct, an insurer I took out a policy with a number of years ago. I cancelled that policy immediately, having read the terrible reviews they had.

Grove and Dean seem to be the same business as Performance Direct. Had this not been obscured I would not have taken out the policy.

I now have my fingers crossed, hoping that if I ever do need to call on my insurance that it will be ok.
