I had unlocked my cellphone with them 1 year ago.

This year, once again, I unlocked another phone, but rather than charging me for this transaction only, they also charged me for the one I made last year! And it never showed on paypal, only after I paid! Therefore, I'm afraid to use this company again as I may be charged again for my two previous transactions!

However, I did receive my codes in a very short period of time, I'm just worried about those transactions that cumulate. Sent them an email, we'll see what happens with that.

At first, my phone was successfully locked and I was initially pleased. They immediately sent me an email asking me to give a good review on a number if sites including this one. I procrastinated but told them I was satisfied. A few days later and my unlocked phone no longer received service. I tried to troubleshoot it in my own only to suspect signs that my original carrier detected that an unauthorized SIM was being used and locked the phone remotely. When I contacted gsmliberty.com via chat support, they informed me that this was indeed a possibility and I would have to contact the carrier and ask them to remove the lock and other than that, they could not help and as far as their contract goes, the phone was unlocked. The whole reason I used gam liberty in the first place is so I would not have to contact the carrier to unlock the phone. Of course the carrier said no. GSM Liberty is aware that the carrier can identify the unlock and take actions to lock the phone. It's the reason why they ask for a good review immediately after service. Don't get trapped.

I had no problems unlocking my Spanish Samsung Galaxy Express. The code was supplied within a few hours.

They were very helpful when I had problems retrieving my phone's information. They were very efficient and provided my unlock code very quickly even though it was the weekend.

Met all the qualifications for uploading the unlock video but the company did not refund my money back!

Excellent and prompt service. Unlocking my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini was successful in first attempt.

I had no issues at all with the service. Everything proceeded as advertised - billing, timeline, unlock process, etc. I suspect the high price for unlocking iPhones rests at Apple's feet since the higher prices are uniformly high across providers.

Bought the codes they don't work.

Tried to get support but they just send out badly written emails with no solutions

It is a process to wear you out so you give up and they keep the money!!

Found this site after clicking on an info link at Virgin Mobile Canada. Looked up my phone found an unlock code for a similar model to my phone that was available for $9.95 CDN. Took a minute to talk to their on-line chat support and confirmed it would work for my particular model. Purchased the unlock code which was to be available in 6 to 8 hours. In 2 hours I had my unlock code. Bought a Virgin Mobile Sim card, plugged it in, followed the unlocking instructions provided and voila, the phone was successfully unlocked. Definitely good value for the money as opposed to spending the $50 that the original service provider wanted. Would definitely recommend this site. In fact, I am forwarding the site link to my brother-in-law who is in the computer business and was looking for a safe and reliable site.

I have heard of GSM Liberty before but it was one of those websites I failed to remember. Going through the internet searching page after page I came across the service. The reviews were great and I just thought, "I won't know til I try it out" So 35mins later after payment and unlock code, it all worked out :) thanks

My iPhon was unlooked in a very shot time.

I spent hours on the Internet struggling with a different unlock service trying to unlock an old Samsung phone. Nothing worked. The other service finally refunded my money. I stumbled on gsmLiberty.net on the web by a lucky accident. They automatically included the extra unlock codes and instructions needed to unlock my phone. I am VERY impressed. I tried another company and for under $10 they took 2 days to tell me they couldn't unlock a Samsung Galaxy Ace. The company that sold me the phone wanted $50 and many others I checked wanted $35. Gsmliberty wanted $30, which was ok, but is a little more than it is worth. $20 would have been an easier 1st choice. Other than that, the instructions were clear and it worked the first try. I did not like the fact that you had to video the install in order to get a refund if it didn't work. Still, it worked and was fast 20 minutes, giving 4/5 thanks
