Fast - Unlocked Sasktel Galaxy S4 on first try with Telus SIM

Wanted an unlocked phone for travel to US, Mexico and a 3 week trip to Europe. Data rates are just stupid when roaming. Sasktel wanted $50 to unlock even though I said I as keeping my contract with them and only wanted it unlock for travelling while on vacation. Used GSMLiberty, and received code very quickly (couple hours) and when I inserted a Telus SIM from a co-worker's phone, I just entered the code in and it took first try. I received a couple of my buddy's text messages with in about 20 seconds of entering code ;). I left my WIFI on too (by mistake), and that did not seem to affect anything.

Great service with amazing support

Its the second time I've used them to unlock my old Blackberrys. First time I had absolutely no problems and was sorted within an hour. This time I made a mistake in the information I gave them - I got the model number wrong. The online help was brilliant. Phone is now sorted and I would willingly recommend them to anybody wishing to unlock a phone.

This place @*€#"% ₩ rocks

I just spent a week going through 3 other companies for my unlock code. Thet each required up to 24 hours to get my code an all I got were 3 "I'm sorry" letters. Thought I'd try one last time with GM LIBERTY. They were able to provide the correct unlock code in a very quick an timely matter, under 20 min. They also followed up 10 min after that to be sure I had no questions. I emailed the 3 other companies thanking them for there time but that GSMLiberty handled it. You guys rock

Terrible, Will not use again nor recommend to friends

I purchased a sim unlock code for 30 dollars or so from them, after the payment they sent a code very quickly. The issue is the code did not work, I called tech support who said they would send me a link to help resolve the issue. Tech support never called me back, never sent anything to my email address and yes I checked the spam folder. I ended up out 30 dollars and having to go through a free website that told me who to change my firmware and unlock my note 2 for no charge. If your even considering purchasing or using them, reconsider.

RELIABLE

i needed to unlock a lumia 520. During the first try, i paid 4$ and received an email that say i can either have it 1) cancelled and get a full refund or 2) continue the processing with their tier-2 database but cost you 8$ extra. In the end i got the unlock code so i can attest that gsmliberty.com is a reliable site.

They definitely are fraudsters!

I paid them and waited for the code for days, but nothing returned. Their support is useless, all those support numbers keep you waiting for ages and not answered at the end. I'm still waiting for the money to be returned and the order to be canceled. The online support is bullshitting me different things all the time. Beware of this website.

they found the code where others failed

I tried a couple of stalls in my local market that said they could unlock any phone, one said he didn't do Motorola phones the other had the phone for a few days, but wasn't able to do it. I thought I was stuck with a phone that I couldn't use. Then I came across Gsmliberty and within a day I was up and running, just for £6-20, when the local market stall wanted £8, so well done Gsmliberty.

Did the Trick

I managed to send in my order with a slight model variation issue and the system didn't return a code, but they quickly moved to their senior team and a code came shortly after. Worked perfectly !

Avoid this Company !

I find it rather unusual that this company has a list of very positive reviews unless they are composing them themselves in order to give the public a positive opinion of their services. In my opinion, this organization is a complete scam, they promise to provide Unlock Codes within a particular time frame and fail miserably to meet their commitments. Once received, the Unlock Codes provided were not suitable for my phone and failed to unlock the phone as promised.
When confronted through their online Chat Portal, their Customer Service representatives are rude, obnoxious, and have absolutely no intention to assist although they have already taken payment. The customer is referred to send an email with their objections and request for refund to their respective sales department's email address.
The responding sales person happens to be the same individual I had the online chat with. Thus, what is one to expect, the customer support was miserable, totally unfriendly and unwilling to assist in a mannerism conducive to what in the professional world would be considered Best Business Practices. And of course, they refused to make a refund for my advanced payment although they were not capable of providing the expected services to be rendered.

The unlock was two hours late but worked as planned.

I ordered the unlock on gsmliberty because it showed the unlock would be sent in less than 1 hour. I sent the request and got the processing confirmation at 9pm but didn't receive the unlock code until 1am...3 hours later. I called the US number provided after an hour of waiting but the number didn't work at all. I was half convinced that I was scammed. Regardless of the lateness, the unlock worked like it should've. I just wished that the code would've been sent in the estimated time frame

Helped me step by step to do the unlock

I had an old ATT (USA) Blackberry Curve 8310, and wanted to unlock it so I could use it to put in a world-travel SIM card. Ordering required a different page, so I had to use the chat line to connect me to the order page for that device. That was quick. Nice thing about their chat people...they are really THERE as you chat, unlike some who are doing 10 chats at once and make you wait 10 minutes for a response. Anyhow, ordered the unlock key following their directions to get the code for the phone, and they emailed it to me within minutes. They sent two codes. (I suppose the second was a backup in case the first one did not work). I waited until the next day, when their tech people would be in just in case I needed them, to try to unlock. I am aware that there are literally thousands of different makes and models of phones out there, all with slightly different methods of getting "inside" for information, so I knew that it would be impossible to expect everyone to be totally familiar with MY phone. I found a couple different conflicting instructions, so rather than screw things up, I tried CHAT again. And he walked me thru it all, step by step. When something did not seem to work, he found what would work. As I said, always right there to respond as I went thru the maze of finding this and finding that and then finally entering the code. IT WORKED!!! Now, instead of an old clunky barely intelligent phone, I have a nicer and easier phone that I can use with my World (MOBAL) Sim card! And I am one happy camper! The $7.95 was much less expensive than buying a new unlocked phone!
