I couldn't speak to the service department when I rang them. I was told I could request a call back usual within 45 minutes. Two hours later tried to call again and all I can do is leave another messa... See more

Guy Salmon Thames Ditton
Utterly, utterly useless from start to finish. A simple MOT turned into an absolute nightmare due to incredibly poor customer service and outright lies employed to cover errors by the MOT inspector. In future I will drive many miles to another dealer so that I don't have to suffer these sycophantic half-wits again...
Unbelievably bad service!
Unbelievably bad service, Guy Salmon Bristol have had our Range Rover sport for over 3 months now!!! Having taken the car in to get a price to have the breaks done, I decided not to have them done there as we had been quoted half the price at another garage. As I drove away, within seconds the car started misfiring, we took it back (this was the end of May) and we still haven’t got it back!! They told us weeks ago that it was fixed and all up and running, but needed to sort the finances out with the warranty company. This was all sorted (we’re still left paying part of it) and they’re saying it’s still not ready!! They apparently have their master mechanic working on it and it’s still not being done. We were thinking of upgrading the car, but there is no way we would ever buy through Guy Salmon or ever get the car repaired there ever again. And would never recommend to anyone else. When dealing with the manager, he clearly had no intention of trying to speed things up for us, his customer service was average at best. Every time I tried to get an update it would always be me calling them and frequently they wouldn’t return my calls. I’m still waiting for an update....
I brought a new Land Rover discovery…
I brought a new Land Rover discovery from Land Rover Thames Ditton 66K
Nothing but trouble from new
Kept not starting so the keys were diagnose as faulty
This as bee happening for 8 months on and of
Then catastrophically broke down 80 miles from home all electrics not working
With my family of 5 three elderly had to crawl over the seats to get out of the car could not open doors or windows
Waited 8 hours for Land Rover assist then was told that it had to be towed away they sent the AA brake down lorry to us after telling them that we had elderly people over eight years old
Could not get them in the lorry then had to wait for a mini bus to collect us
Car was towed in to Land Rover Thames Ditton
They then told me that it was water coming in from the roof rail that I had fitted that had got into the electrical loom and caused all the trouble
I then had to inform them that it was Thames Ditton Land Rover that had fitted them from new
Seven weeks later still no car back, so I went to see the car without invertation, car was totally gutted inside, yet they had already confirmed that it was the rubbers on the roof rails that was the problem
Footwell was full of water and the smell would have chocked a goat
I went to see David Edwards head Of the shower at Thames Ditton
When I say head I mean clumberson indecisive bumberling person who just past me of to a sales exsective, sorry I mean a gofer
French guy called Olivier, who when I brought the car pestered me to give in a good review on is car sale, which he was not a complete joke but he had told me his monthly bonus depended upon it.
He just wanted to sell me a new car and told me that after 1 year I had only £500 pound equity in the car that I had put £25K cash I year previously
With a stupid smirk on his face I thought he was actually joking
But no very serious
Escalated to customer office, again just fobed of
I have been offered a weekend away wine and if they think that any body that can afford a £66K car can not afford his or her own weekend away or a bottle of wine then they are delusional
I have been in touch with the fixer in the Sunday times and I hope that they will publish my story.
I have the car back now but has body damage from the work shop that I am now going to have to sort out with them, going to be another nightmear, just want the hole exspreance to end
Basically I would urge anybody who is thinking of buy a car from Land Rover Thame Ditton or JLR based on my nightmare
Don’t
The worst car service unprofessional people and company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, this is my seventh and last Land Rover

I had a great experience at Guy Salmon (Portsmouth)…Alistair was great!
I had a great experience at Guy Salmon in Portsmouth (Port Solent branch). I had initially been in the market for another vehicle (that I am still looking for, but not with same urgency), and had left a dealership nearby very dissapointed after poor attention/service to my needs (which was potentially a brand new vehicle).
I popped into Guy Salmon just before closing, purely to browse (which we did) as we went to leave Alistair (sales) approached very passively to see if we were ok, and it invited my wife and I to start a brief conversation - this led to Alistair presenting to us an option that was a 3mth Velar, at a price that was comparable to the 4yr old Sport that i was nervous about finding (car age and amount of money!)..... it was the perfect match on color and spec, and after a test drive as the branch was closing we agreed a deal, and 1wk later collected our almost new (ex-demonstrator)..... such an easy way to have made a very large, luxury purchase, with great service/professionalism of the whole team there. I would recommend to anyone who is serious about getting into Land Rover as an owner in some way......
Buyer Beware poor representation of the…
Buyer Beware poor representation of the Land Rover Brand.
Could not care less about customers once the car is sold and they have your cash,
Not interested to respond to emails or offer assistance.
Would not recommend
Absolutley disgusting dealership
Absolutley disgusting dealership, i tried to obtain the full service history of a Jaguar XK they serviced, i had the book stamped but the details were sparce, i think the service history has been duped due to incorrect mileages shown on MOT certificates, there refusal under the guise of GDPR is pathetic, there are no personal informations on such and to refuse handing out the service records is highly suspicious, based on this i cancelled an order for a new car with another dealer, fraudulant servicing, never will i buy a jaguar again, this reflects poorly on the brand, i have also stopped my company from leasing 11 cars moving forward, this dealer is clearly hiding behind GDPR for a good reason, false records.

Purchased a used Range Rover Sport from Guy Salmon Coventry and couldn't be happier!! The staff were super helpful, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to help with anything I needed.
The service team also helped me with a new tow bar and there attitude was first class.
I will definitely be going back for my next car.
Thanks,
Guy Salmon Stockport avoid!
Really bad customer service from Nick in bookings Stockport. I asked for a quote on side steps on my RR. He did not get back to me until i chased and chased for days. Then he said to me i have to wait for the parts, hmmm been 6 weeks. No contact from him until i chase him up. I complained two days ago and a manager was supposed to call me back, NO CALL back. So i took my business to Williams Landrover. Quote same day, booking in next day and all being done within the week. Go to Williams, much better service. Next time i WILL NOT be buying a £80k car from Guy Salmon!

Purchased a new FPace just under a month ago. Two problems with the tech and a warning notice on. Rang the direct dial of the service person I was told would look after me to get a message 'this voice box is full, goodbye'. Then told the sales person I had dealt with was busy (no offer to call me back). Eventually told a service person would ring me in the morning, he didn't. He rang me late afternoon, when I missed the call, saying he would call me the next day, he didn't. Rang again and emailed the salesman and eventually got a customer service lady who promised me a call back. Eventually got it, but they couldn't help and asked to bring the car in, with a date two weeks in advance. After complaining this has been brought forward to next week. Have spent a huge amount of money on a new car and the service after is appalling. Remains to be seen if the issues are resolved next week, but hugely disappointed.
Stockport Guy Salmon
Stockport Guy Salmon - terrible terrible Customer Service. They never ever return your calls, and the after service once you buy the car is just awful.
I had cars from here for both my wife and I, but I have now recently decided against the brand. My brand new RR Sport has been in with faults 4 times in 2 and half years, and after 2 years old - needed a new gearbox?!? Imagine if the warranty would have expired (£10k)..
I decided to sell the car and buy a Porsche Cayenne instead - guess what....
After taking my RR Sport in on Monday for a valuation, I was promised a call with a price. I called every day as was told they would call - Finally (ON FRIDAY) - they called me to say they didn't want it....?!? They wasted a week of my time PLUS this is how they treat their customers? My wife still has an Evoque (although we will definitely not be purchasing another RR), so they treat their customers by selling you a car but not wanting to buy their own cars back?!?!? Nice.
Had used this company Guy Salmon Land…
Had used this company Guy Salmon Land Rover Thames Ditton for over 20 years for new car purchase and service never again. Booked my car in for service collection and return had to wait a month but was OK with this as I thought my car was in safe hands.
Was told by phone the car would be collect Mon 10am that time came and went so tried to call them as I wanted to tell them of two minor faults that had turned up since booking the service.
1. Check spare tyre pressure.
2. Check coolant level.
I was unable to speak to service but was told someone would call back.
I left a message with my wife to explain to the collection guys the two minor faults.
I never received a call back from service regarding why they hadn’t turned up as they had arranged and went off to work. The car was collected some time that day.
I tried to call service later that morning again to explain the two faults and again was unable to speak to service and again promised a call back.
Later that day I received a call from service to say my car was ready and was presented with a £700 service bill, I asked about the two faults and was told that they were not looked at.
The service reception went away and came back and said for the fault Check spare tyre pressure all the tyre sensors need to be replaced and was told the spare wheel had only a normal valve fitted. Strange as the spare had not had the valve replaced. As for the Check coolant level error was told the fault was not in the fault log or on the display and therefore couldn’t be fixed.
I did also say their driver would have seen the fault on collection the car as both errors are displayed daily.
I asked could this be the coolant sensor and was told the engineer said no, I was told basically to live with the errors which I replied that I was not happy with this!
I was told that they would keep the car for another day and look at the faults.
The next day service called with a price for a coolant sensor replacement but was told this was not worth replacing as it was unlikely to fix the fault.
I replied to this return my car and I would get this fixed elsewhere.
I later received a call from the delivery driver to so he had returned my car. On returning from work I couldn’t see my car and ask my wife had she seen my car keys, we found a set of keys on the inside front door by the post box but they weren’t my keys. I took the keys and down the road tried them with a Range Rover and yes they opened it, it wasn’t a Guy Salmon Land Rover loan car but another customer’s car. I tried to call Guy Salmon Land Rover but it was to late the dealer was shut.
The next day I went off in the wife’s car to work like the 2 other days I had without my car again calling service before I left and being unable to contact anyone and again promised a call back.
I eventually made contact around 11am and ask where my car was? The reply back was it was delivered back yesterday morning. I said I’ll give you a clue I’ve got a set of keys and they are not for my car, service has not ever realised they had a customer car missing.
My car got returned later that day and they didn’t ever make contact to say it was returned although I had a missed call which I tried to call back and again was unable to speak to anybody in service and again promised a call back. Guess what I never received a call…
The following day soon as I drove off the display showed check spare tyre pressure and then 10 minutes later check coolest level the delivery driver must have seen these faults.
This Wednesday 09th May I had a courtesy call from Guy Salmon Land Rover asking was I happy with the service I received and told them about what went on as attached and was told a manager would call us. I had a call from 020 8786 6713 and was told by the manager that he would look into my service problems and come back to us. I’m still waiting two days later.
Latest update I was contacted 31st May and my car was collected 4th June and left with service whilst I'm away on holiday. Again I have received another courtesy call from Guy Salmon Land Rover asking was I happy with the service even though my car is not back yet.
