Avoid Haart Northampton at all costs if you are able. If i could give them 0 stars i would.
Like a previous review has stated, they cheekily pressure you to give them a good review when you start with them before they have been given a chance to show their true colours. I am convinced that any positive reviews on here must of been collected this way. I have never dealt with a more dishonest and incompetent organisation. Their lettings dept, particularly a guy called Ali, assured us certain things would be done before we started the tenancy, as soon as we received the keys and discovered none of these jobs had been completed Ali just resolved himself of all responsibility and fobbed us off to the property management team. We then spent 2-3 months making unanswered calls and sending emails that were simply ignored before i was forced to make official complaints to their head office, the local authority and the housing ombudsman. All through this process they were either unresponsive, dishonest or simply uninterested. If you want a perfect example of appalling customer service then go ahead and have dealings with them. In the end we just gave up with even bothering and just decided to leave the property at the earliest opportunity.

Haart Northampton. If you are a landlord avoid at all…

If you are a landlord avoid at all cost. The lettings team Mohammed and Leo at first informed they had found a couple with kids but they are lesbian. Confidentiality breach and did they want me to discriminate? I did not quite understand why l was being told this because whom people love or get in a relationship with is not my business.
Haart's property management team not honest people. No communication skills. Rent should have been deposited in my account on the 27th of April, l was told the tenants are separating or divorcing. When l asked how was that relevant to rent being paid, l was informed they get paid on the 30th. On the 1st of May l was told by Isaac they had seen proof of payment and because of bank holiday there will be a delay. Its the 6th now and no sign of payment. Calls not being answered now

Avoid haart Northampton – Dishonest and Unfair Charges!

I strongly warn anyone against using haart estate agents Northampton. My biggest piece of advice: do not let them pressure you into submitting a review at the start of your tenancy like they want you to. Wait until you have lived there for a few months or moved out to see their true colours.

According to the 77020 Adjudication Report, they tried to hit us with a ridiculous £348 claim when we moved out of 23 Ashburnham Road, most of which was completely unjustified. The Boiler Scam: They tried to charge us £198 for a "boiler lockout," claiming we broke it by turning off radiators. We had actually reported heating and hot water issues to them multiple times in January, July, and November 2025, yet they still tried to blame us for "tenant negligence." The adjudicator saw through this and awarded them £0.

Dishonest Cleaning Fees: They demanded £150 for a "full professional clean" despite the property being returned in "Good" condition. They even tried to charge for a shower that was recorded as "Poor" and mouldy when we moved in. The adjudicator threw out the bulk of this, awarding them only £30 for minor, localised marks.

If we hadn't fought this through flatfair adjudication, they would have happily pocketed £348 of our money for maintenance that was their responsibility and cleaning that wasn't required. They are dishonest and will try to profit off your deposit.

Poor Customer Service - full of promise then silence

I had a very disappointing experience with this estate agent due to their poor customer service. Communication was inconsistent and often delayed, leaving me to chase for updates. When responses did come through, they were vague and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration. No acknowledgement of emails only to be told passed to another colleague who was on annual leave (helpful).

What stood out most was the lack of professionalism and accountability. Issues were not handled efficiently, and it often felt like my concerns were being dismissed rather than resolved. For something as important as buying/selling a property, I expected a much higher level of care and attention.

Overall, the experience was stressful and unnecessarily difficult. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience, and I hope they take steps to improve their communication and customer service in the future.

Avoid Haart Northampton

Avoid Haart Northampton – Worst Letting Agency Ever!

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would! Haart Northampton is by far the worst letting agency I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is beyond pathetic, and their staff are rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional.

Once they get your money, they couldn’t care less about you. Any issues with the property? Good luck getting them to respond! Emails and calls are ignored for weeks, and when they finally bother to reply, they are dismissive and act like you’re an inconvenience. Repairs take forever, and they show no urgency in addressing tenant concerns.

Their attitude towards customers is shocking – they are arrogant, dishonest, and have no respect for tenants. They make false promises, fail to follow through on anything, and have zero accountability for their incompetence.

I strongly advise anyone looking to rent or deal with them to stay far away! Save yourself the stress and frustration – Haart Northampton is nothing but a nightmare! Avoid at all costs!

Not Great service

Before payment, communication was great. Once payment was done, I had to keep following them up like babies. If you don’t call, you’re not aware of what’s happening. Keys should be handed over in the morning of the day your tenancy commences or the evening before. I had to keep calling and raising my voice at them, only to be told they were waiting for confirmation to release the key. Slow much?
Even though I gave a good recommendation at the beginning, if the landlord is still with same agency at the end of tenancy year, I’d move apartments. I foolishly only read reviews when I started getting annoyed with their service, else would have gone with another agency.

Edit: And I moved to another property one year and 1 month after this. The best gift to myself, and I am so so so loving this. Better and quieter apartment no wall-soaking-up-water issues.

Haart (finally) succeeded in letting my property. The person most responsible for this seems to be Cora.W in Northampton. After some odd behaviour by apparently normal prospective tenants who extended the process, Cora’s work seemed to ensure that the final tenants were 100% in from the start, and that they would be reliable.
Cora.W can be called by phone, or emailed when out at a property, and always responds.

Property sold not correctly represented…

Property sold not correctly represented - multiple issues . After we moved in, we discovered multiple issues with the property from leaking taps to a major fault with the roofing and the conservatory. Be careful what you buy from these agents as they do not do their due diligence.
