They are the worst property management…

They are the worst property management company. Do not use them. They never pay rent when it’s due. I have been chasing my rent which the tenant has paid 5 days ago and they claim they are unable to pay it, I have had missed payment and had to pay interest on this, spoke to them about it they don’t care.
The tenant doesn’t contact them for issues anymore either they contact my contractor and my contractor tells me the issue basically Haart is getting paid for doing nothing & they are still not paying me my money.
Its ridiculous! Never use such an inefficient company.

Best energy from a Letting Agent I've ever had!

I met with Daniel for a viewing at a Nottingham property. He was so relaxed and welcoming! Honestly the best energy I've gotten from a letting agent in my many years of renting. I wish he could accompany me on all of my property viewings. It would make them so much more enjoyable.

Great experience from Dinesh

Had the pleasure of meeting with Dinesh today who was very professional and informative. Listened to my circumstances with empathy and gave me some perspective on my options. Valuation of my property has also been emailed very promptly. Can’t thank him enough and would highly recommend

I am really happy with the HAARTS…

I am really happy with the HAARTS agents Scott & Sophie who has done a superb job with the photos and editing of my property, They have taken a lot of care and attention to provide the correct information and details for my property to go live online.
Well done Scott & Sophie, I really appreciate it.

Poor follow-up on reported maintenance issues

During my tenancy with Haart Nottingham , I reported an issue with the induction hob in April 2025 and followed up again in July through the leasing officer. I also sent follow-up emails to the property management team in October and November regarding the same issue. Unfortunately, from April until my move-out in January 2026, no repair or further action was arranged.
What I found particularly disappointing was that after I vacated the property, I was charged for the replacement of the induction hob, despite the issue having been reported multiple times throughout my tenancy. This was particularly frustrating given the repeated attempts made to resolve the issue during the tenancy.
This situation raises concerns about internal communication and how maintenance issues are managed. Based on my experience, the lack of follow-through was disappointing.
I hope the company can review its procedures and improve communication and maintenance handling for future tenants.

THE worst estate agent i have ever used

One of the worst estate agents I have ever used

Poorly run with a lack of communication and organisation. They have lost several important documents related to the property due to a high turnover of staff.

Complete disregard for tenant welfare and never respond to tenants concerns or pass on the messages to landlords

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Very disappointed.

I went with Harrt estate agent to rent my house out for 6 months whilst I was abroad, I have to say I was very disappointed with the overall service. I payed for full management and despite the tenants causing a lot of damage and breaking things I received £50 back at the end, I should of been entitled to a lot more but I didn’t have the time and headspace to stick it out. The estate agent always had the tenants best interest and I felt like Harrt just wanted my money.
They were VERY hard to get hold of, never rang back, charged unexpected bills without consent and just did not seem to care at all. My emails would never get responded to. I ended up having to go into the letting agents to settle everything (amicably) but it was the only way to sort eventually. I am very late with this (2023)but feel it needs to be said. I am not one to ever be rude or complain but I would not go with Harrt again.
Sean Doherty was incredible and did his very best for me. I’m not going to name names but everyone else was pretty hopeless.

Nottingham branch

Nottingham branch - lettings, were fine until I had signed the letting contract then totally unhelpful in addressing the state of the property. I put in a complaint which got no where, due to lies from the staff. At the end of the tenancy I had to contact the Tenants Deposit Scheme as Haart would not return my deposit, even though the landlord had told them to. Awful company, avoided any houses being sold by them when looking to purchase my own home.

The Worst Estate Agent I’ve Ever Dealt With

Wish I could give zero stars. I have been reporting multiple repairs for over 4 months, and not only have they not been resolved, but the agents do not answer their phones or respond to emails. Haart (Nottingham) is by far one of the worst estate agent branches I have dealt with.

The sterotype of a bad estate agent

When you think of a stereotypical estate agent, like you see on the recent panorama, then Haart is precisely what comes to mind.

We invited three estate agents to come and quote for us in May 2025. We went with Haart because we were hard sold on their success – they were the most expensive with 1.35%+VAT, and they quoted us £10K higher than any other estate agent, with stats such as 22 Days to offers, and 104% of the advertised price.

The red flags we should have noticed were the hard-selling tactics – the fee went down from 1.5% to 1.35% as a special offer just for us. We were naïve to the common tactic of estimating high to secure our business, and hence why Haart valued us £10K higher than anyone else, and we were flattered that our house could do so well. We were also shown videos about digital marketing FLINK, which would help use social media to find buyers. We were also told six pre-approved buyers were looking for a house like ours and would be in for viewings as soon as we signed up and marketed.

We started to have sign-up remorse the minute the photos were taken – the agent came around and took them on their iPhone, which was older than mine. The advert then went live, missing a room they thought wasn’t nice enough (a storeroom), and with the Wrong EPC. Two weeks on, none of the pre-approved buyers materialised, so we reduced the price by £10K to match the value offered by other cheaper agents.

Only one viewing came through, and they ghosted the agent with no feedback. We requested metrics and data on the advertising's progress, but received only sporadic graphs from Rightmove. These graphs indicated that the initial momentum of the launch had been lost due to being valued too high. We reduced the amount again by a further £5K, but still saw no results. We learnt that their 104% statistic is based on the price advertised when STC on Rightmove and not their valuation price. For example, if the property was originally listed for £200K but reduced to £180K and STC for £185K, it would still be considered over 100% even though it is £15K less than the original valuation. I even had to retake some of the photos and insist that the storeroom be shown. We asked for evidence of FLINK being used on our property, and it was never provided.

In the end, we removed our property from the market and will have it off until we are out of contract with Haart and their adverts are forgotten. When we did this, they sent us a letter telling us that they had introduced 12 people to our house, and if we sold it to them, we would owe them a fee. Note that this is bad practice, and the Property Ombudsman Code section 18J makes it clear that introductions are only really evidenced by viewings. We had to pick up the keys, and when we did, they were handed over to us with no ID, Key log or any other security being taken – we hadn’t met anyone in the office that day and could have been anyone – all we had to do is give our address and say we’d come for the key.

Learn from our mistake and don’t have your home move plans delayed and derailed by Haart.

Nathan at Haart was absolutely…

Nathan at Haart was absolutely fantastic. It was so easy to get in touch with him and I was never waiting for a response. He was very proactive and understood what we wanted and made sure it happened. He made the house buying journey very easy for us.

Would not recommend

Initially good customer service by Sean during property viewing, helpful answering any questions but once have received money and got you moved in, very difficult to reach! Once moved out it took over two months for Haart to return our deposit money (had to escalate to TDS) with no explanation from Ben for the major delay nor apology. Even when keys had been returned by over two weeks was asked if they could do property viewing…. we had already vacated weeks ago which really shows poor service and communication. High turnover of staff evident!

Had numerous property maintenance issues which were left unfixed for the whole year of tenancy. On move in even had a broken washing machine filled with dirty smelly water, this took over a week to be fixed, and on another occasion when washing machine was broken took over 15 days for them to send maintenance to fix it! Similarly whenever called rarely received an answer and would not pass on the messages - whenever went into office staff were not attentive and seemed unbothered. Nice properties but awful customer service experience so would not recommend

Terrible communication and unprofessional

Dinesh and Emma did a very poor job.My offer to buy a property had been accepted in writing. After 10 days I was told someone else had put a higher offer in (even tho the property was supposedly off the market). I was asked the match the new offer by the vendor (through the agency) which I eventually agreed to do. Then after a couple of hours later I was told the vendor had changed mind and wanted to go with the other offer anyway. Honestly never seen such an unprofessional way of handling the job.

We’ve been with this agency for less…

We’ve been with this agency for less than a year. They’ve already raised the rent twice. They don’t respond to emails. Our shower has been broken for over 12 days, and they’ve been ignoring us. We’ve sent several emails, and when they finally replied, they said the person in charge of our property is on vacation. We’ve never been late with rent, and yet when we need support for something as simple as a shower repair, their service completely fails us.

This company doesn’t deserve even one…

This company doesn’t deserve even one star! Only one inspection was carried out in 15 months so, by the time the tenants left, the property and garden were in a very poor state costing us nearly £3,000 to repair. We weren’t even able to claim back these costs from the deposit because Haart missed the deadline to submit the claim to the Tenant Deposit Scheme. Unbelievably incompetent. However, apart from the terrible service, the main issue is that it’s impossible to get through to anyone to discuss any problems. Phone calls are unanswered or if the concierge takes a message no one returns the call. I could go on because the list of problems we experienced is endless but I’ll just say steer well clear of this company because they are beyond frustrating to deal with and their service is non existent.

Incredible bad service and unprofessional attitude! Do not recommend HAART at all...

I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND HAART. At the time when I chose the highest possible option in the form of a monthly fee for the management of the house, which lasted a very short time, they were unable to fulfill their obligations to both me as the Landlord and the Tenant. When needed, they did not answer anyone's phone, did not answer emails and did not solve anything.
If you choose HAART and pay them any monthly fee, do not count on them providing you or your tenant with anything, quite the opposite. You will be forced to arrange everything yourself, but they will continue to charge you fees.
In the event of termination of the contract, they will explicitly insist on you and resolve everything over the phone, they will not write/confirm anything to your email. They demonstrated completely unprofessional behaviour, specifically Rami Hariri, Sam Cable and Sean Doherty Marla - Nottingham branch.
One of the women working directly for Haart told me personally and I thank her for it, that Haart, unfortunately, does not have enough staff to cover all the requirements and that they have a large number of such cases and therefore she strongly recommends that I terminate the contract with Haart asap and write a complaint about it.
Regardless of the fact that when you come to resolve everything from another country as a non-UK resident, no one requires any proof from you that you are the owner and both the information and the keys to the property are given to you probably based on beautiful eyes.
As an apology, they offered a ridiculous £50, which they have not even sent to this day...
After I informed them that I no longer wanted any of their services and therefore that the tenant would not send them any money, which they agreed with, the monthly rents was repeatedly demanded from the tenant in all possible forms - by phone, email, post and in such a way that we were constantly harassed by HAART. I do NOT RECOMMEND them at all.
