We rented a property in Cambridge…
We rented a property in Cambridge through Haart. While we were looking at properties, they were pleasant and charming (Patryk). Once we had signed the lease, not so much (Taylor). Rude! Unresponsive! Sometimes even nasty! They obviously don’t understand, that while they represent a landlord, the renter IS THE CUSTOMER! They are obviously ONLY concerned with the “sale” = after that you are pretty much on your own. They want permission to hang a picture! If I had known that this was their modus operandi, I would NEVER have gone to them, If you are looking to rent, I strongly recommend you find some other agent, hopefully you will find one who could give a damn about you as a customer as well as when you are a renter
Great experience
We had a professional, informative, truthful and trustworthy experience when we were selling our house. The staff worked as a team and were very accommodating especially during viewings. We were kept informed. We felt valued in every step of the journey. Thanks to Danny, Aaron and Tyan, particularly, because they worked directly with us. They are a great team, who do not only look at the money, but the whole process. Although the sale fell through at the last stage, we still stand with our comments. We will definitely use them again. We strongly recommend.
Annoying
Annoying, rude and intrusive- how many more ways are there to complain about this totally unacceptable behaviour. Lies lies lies. Again and again I’ve blocked them but still I get calls even telling me they are returning my call - rubbish. This is not the behaviour I expect from people/businesses these days. NEVER use this company!!

Have been inundated by letters and calls from their Cambridge branch trying to poach my business knowing full well my house is for sale with another agent. I've told them multiple times that i'm not interested and to take me off their call/mailing list but still they are bothering me. Very annoying.
Haarassing company!
Haarassing company!
Unbelievably disappointing to know how out of touch with reality and disturbing the people are here.
Endless missed calls and voice mails left spanning months asking me to call them about a property I do not own, where do these people get their information, clearly out of thin air, go back to school and learn to respect people and not leave creepy voice mails when frustrated after a declined call.
Blocked the main number but I expect they'll still try to contact with fabricated information pulled out of their behind.
Rude staff - daniel and marie smith
You wouldnt even believe the rudeness i have had to unfortunately deal with. Daniel and marie have been extremely unprofessional and only since saying i will be reporting it to head office, marie has emailed me apologising for her behaviour of shouting at me.
Unsolicited calls
We arranged a viewing through Haart and explained on the phone when asked that we weren't interested in having our home valued, as we'd had five valuations already and chose an agency. We then proceeded to get daily calls and emails about getting our property valued. Very disappointing, and I won't be viewing any more properties with this company. Why would I want to work with a company who doesn't respect basic requests? Very unprofessional.
Exceptional support from Haart
My wife and I are so grateful to the team at Haart, Cambridge for their outstanding support during our house sale and purchase. Everyone was helpful, patient, and always available — we felt genuinely looked after throughout.
A special thanks to Amman, whose calm advice and spot-on guidance made all the difference during the more difficult moments. His reassurance gave us real confidence.
Highly recommended!
Serious waste of time and disrespectful office staff
Terrible experience with Haart. Enquired the same day a rental property went online (30/08) didn’t hear back so phoned up, was informed I’d get a call back that evening or next morning… I didn’t. So called again the next day to be told the agent letting the property was out of office and would call me the next day…. They didn’t. Decided to visit the area on the Sunday (03/08) so called on the off chance they might be around for a viewing…. Was told no, but not to worry as we are ‘first in line for the property because we were the first people to enquire’ (they genuinely told us this off their own backs), but that they don’t have keys yet but asked when we would like to view, to ensure we can as soon as possible… I made it clear we want the first viewing and for it to be as soon as Monday if that was possible. Monday morning comes around (04/08), I finally get a call from Haart, now excited, calendar open, ready to book the viewing. The guy says ‘sorry an offer has been accepted on the property’….!? Supposedly someone made an offer “before it was listed” on Tuesday 29/08 “based on video viewing” which doesn’t even exist online from what I am aware?
The guy who phoned me was then ridiculously rude in response to my upset and questions as to why I wasn’t told about the offer and why they wasted my time. If I had caught his name I would make a formal complaint.
I honestly reckon they’ve cheated me out of the property and ‘reserved’ it for a friend or colleague of someone’s internally… or something similar. Such terrible management and I would actively avoid them moving forwards. Unfortunately finding a property is difficult enough, we don’t really have an option on what agent we work with.
Management are completely…
Management are completely unprofessional and out of touch. Suffice to say the company is seemingly run by people under huge pressure to achieve targets with a total disregard for
customer care or attention to detail. Beneath management are teams of seemingly inexperienced youngsters trampling over each other to score fees with zero accountability for mistakes, unanswered calls and unanswered emails. If you card about customer service. If you care about your property. If you care about achieving results and good communication... THEN AVOID INSTRUCTING THIS COMPANY on either the sale or the letting of your property. Plenty of other agents do a far better job.
Lovely experience With Haart Cambridge
Lovely experience With Haart Cambridge. Maria was very kind and helpful and showed us the property and also answered our queries
Our experience with Haart has been…
Our experience with Haart has been nothing short of appalling. We were subject to the following:
- Left without heating and hot water for three days in December, as Haart deemed this acceptable under their "policy." No sympathy was shown for our situation.
- Lived without a functioning oven for two months.
- Maintenance emails regarding black rising mould were ignored entirely.
- Received multiple threatening rent arrears notices despite having paid rent on time.
- Repeatedly disregarded maintenance requests.
- Front door lock broke, and no urgency was given to fixing it.
- Attempted to charge us for pre-existing damage and imposed an extortionate cleaning fee, which when we argued was removed entirely.
Communication with Haart was impossible throughout. Their incompetence forced us to leave the property. Avoid them at all costs.

Had dealings with Danny Frost who I found to be a great guy who was only too happy to help. His easy going manner put me at ease right away and he clearly knew his stuff. His knowledge of the local market was particularly impressive

As no stars was not an option I had to give one.
Daniel said we would have a bidding war. This did not happen.
Ren the Move Manager. As others have said before emails were hard to understand and actually getting a response was near impossible. I felt like most of the time I was doing her job for her as she would call or email asking us to call the solicitors or Executors ourselves. I did joke to my husband and say I think I should charge for my time! I was asked by Ren for a reference for her probation. There was no way I was going to do this prior to the house completing. My stress levels have never been so high. No clear guidance given. Was even told to use our own solicitors and not the ones recommended by Haart even though we were already in an agreement with them. Therefore we ended up using 2 solicitors not 1!
Overall I would say avoid Haart Cambridge at all costs unless you are prepared for a long drawn out process where you feel that you are banging your head against a wall.
Sorry, I wouldn't recommend
I'll start with a positive...I love how Haart agents will be available later in the evening to show people around the property you are selling. We found it difficult to view properties with other estate agents because their last viewings were at 5pm. So thank you Haart for showing people round our house later.
Now for the not so good... property marketing consultant led us to believe we were getting a deal with their fees but they were exactly the same as the figures he had previously told us! I worked in finance, I remember figures!
Our house sold quickly and we were assigned a move manager called Ren. Ren is the sweetest person, very kind and very friendly so it's hard for me to say this, she was meant to communicate with both solicitors and all third parties but every time I had a query I was told to contact my solicitor myself because i would have more impact! That was when I could actually get hold of Ren, she was normally not at her desk or gone home and my calls were rarely returned. I ended up chasing virtually everything which I thought was the service I was paying a lot of money for. I am afraid Ren's emails need a lot of work as they were not entirely professional. I was also fed a lot of contradictory answers at times!
Handing my keys over was another not so great experience. I arrived at the office at 9.20am to find they were closed, they should have opened at 9am. I put my keys through the letter box in an envelope and it took me endless phone calls to actually get a response and to be assured that my keys had been picked up and we're safe. Goodness knows what time they actually opened. Certainly not the best experience for our first time buying and selling!
Think the address is wrong below! I dealt with Haart Regents Street
Great experience
Danny from the Cambridge branch was great from start to finish of the sale of our property, and helped us a lot to navigate the complexities of selling!
It was an amazing experience to work…
It was an amazing experience to work with Haart state agents, they have guide us with every path of selling our house and it was fantastic to have people like Ren where I could ask her every doubt I had once the file was been processed and she was able to contact the buyers solicitors as the connection between the 2 parts seller and buyer and that helped a lot.
Thanks to all for your work and making my life easier.
Very happy with the service so far…
Very happy with the service so far Danny Frost has been very helpful very informative. A very professional, and friendly experience thank you
Great Agancy and people
This Agancy is great whole team working very hard to sell my property and they find a buyer :)
In last weeks I have been dealing with Ren Pugh from Cambridge brunch she is so lovely and helpful, kind and very hard working, with big smile on her face for most of the time.
I hardly recommend this Agancy and the people who work for them.
Everyone at Haart
Everyone at Haart - particularly Danny, Amman, and Ren, who we’ve had most dealings with - is extremely approachable, thorough, warm, and happy to explain the more complicated details (and endlessly patient with repeating things that are probably obvious if you know about buying and selling houses). They’ve always been easy to get hold of, quick to call back, and achieved a price for our house we’ve been very happy with. The communication continues to be excellent. They’ve also been transparent and straightforward at all times.
