Had an amazing smooth process with Haarts lettings and Haart property management. They made me feel so at ease renting out my property and explained the process to me. Would recommend

Stay away from haart Maidstone
Friendly and professional
During my recent experience with Haarts
I have found all members of the Maidstone team to be professional and friendly. Particularly Nicole who has also been sympathetic in what has been a very difficult time. She is a credit to Haarts.
I have been bombarded by this estate…
I have been bombarded by this estate agents in regards to my home being on the market, I do not know how they have my number as I haven’t registered to sell, we are doing a part exchange with a building company and the builders are selling my home. So the fact they keep calling when I have explained multiple times! I now will ensure I never use this agency or recommend them, as this is clearly a breach of GDPR!! Avoid
Dangerous, Negligent, and Emotionally Abusive – Avoid Haart at All Costs
Haart Property Management has been the worst letting agent we have ever dealt with. Renting 6 Hadlow Close from August 2024 to August 2025 was a nightmare.
The property was in terrible condition from day one: walls in urgent need of redecoration, black mould in extractor fans, a boiler that didn’t work for weeks, and electrical hazards caused by a faulty cooker and extractor fan tripping the electrics. Despite countless emails and phone calls, repairs were either ignored or handled incompetently. At one point, a repairman literally looked at the cooker for a minute and left.
My wife was pregnant at the time, and we had two very young children. Being without heating, hot water, and safe electrics for weeks was completely unacceptable. Haart showed zero urgency or empathy, treating our legitimate safety concerns as an inconvenience.
To make matters worse, there were unauthorised visits while we were at home, leaving my wife — who had just given birth — extremely anxious and distressed. They repeatedly promised action but never delivered.
After a full year of rent, we moved out in August 2025 and requested our £1,950 deposit back. Haart responded by claiming nearly £3,000 in alleged “repairs” for pre-existing issues and normal wear and tear — an absurd and offensive demand.
Haart Property Management demonstrates a complete disregard for tenant safety, wellbeing, and basic decency. If you value your family’s safety, your mental health, and your money, do not rent through them. Their negligence, dishonesty, and unprofessionalism are shocking, and they should not be trusted with any tenant.
A great experience
I met with megan during property viewing, she was so friendly taking the time to show me around and addressing issues of concerns
Avoid this agent
Awful from start to finish on the sale of my partner's house. Promises at outset were not honoured. Unsuitable viewers were sent. Easy house to sell & once a purchaser was found zero input & effort to push through. If he hadn't swopped numbers with the purchaser it would never had gone through. You can never get through on the phone goes to a call centre. They advise you to use their solicitors who were remote & equally useless. They did not earn their fee & were incompetent. A formal complaint will follow. In my opinion the Maidstone franchise should be shut down.
Steer clear if selling your house
guy who took photos was brilliant..afterwards when it came to viewers the Maidstone team were rubbish. Considering we pay them to introduce us to prospective buyers..they fell down flat on their face. The first we knew was for 1 couple at 12.45...couple turned up ...will continue .....we were to find out there were 2 other bookings.
agent arrived 12.20 .. He was unaware of 2 further bookings at 12.15 and 12.45. He was only aware of the 12 30 booking...so for that he was on time. He said he had 18 bookings for the day 15mins each.
We too were unaware of the 12.30 and 12.45 appointments until we called Maidstone to complain of no measurements on their webpage for our property They apologised and said it would be corrected...whilst talking we were told of the other two appointments.. they hadn't informed us about
. So without our calling them..would we ever have known.
Next we heard was for 2 appointments on Saturday..could we see clients on their behalf...who is earning fees here?
Today..Molly was supposed to be introducing a new buyer at 16.45pm. We rang office at 17.00 and was told probably stuck in traffic. Rang again at 17.15. they put a call out to Molly..where is she..she rang us to say booking not confirmed. So no show. GRRRRRR...would love to cancel contract rather an apology as they have made further appointments next week. will they let us down again?? WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
can't buy a pair of shoes in 15 minutes..let alone a house!!
This company is a letting agent .not so much an estate agent..a disgrace to other estate agents.
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid at All Costs
My husband and I had an appalling experience with Haart as our letting agency. The property they rented to us was falsely advertised as clean and habitable, but when we moved in, it was far from that. The apartment was filthy, with dog hair everywhere (despite being a no-pets property) and black mold in multiple areas, creating serious health risks.
The agency’s failures didn’t stop there.
They provided incorrect and incomplete tenancy documentation, including an expired EPC and missing landlord information.
Critical safety hazards, like a defective fire alarm and overheating appliances, were ignored despite multiple complaints.
Many appliances were broken, and we were even forced to replace a washing machine at our own cost, with no reimbursement provided.
Communication was dreadful, with our calls and emails often ignored or addressed only after repeated follow-ups.
Their unprofessionalism caused us significant distress. We spent weeks chasing basic responses and were even suggested to terminate our tenancy without regard to the financial or emotional impact it would have on us.
I strongly advise anyone considering Haart to look elsewhere. Their lack of care, transparency, and accountability makes them a terrible choice for tenants.
Lucia property visit
Lucia. She was very courteous and made time to put my rescue dog Dukey at ease as he can be nervous with people he hasn't met before. Thanks Lucia
Smooth process!
Smooth process!
The process with Emily at Haart in Maidstone has been smooth and easy from the beginning. I was offered a viewing on a rental property just an hour after calling the office. The initial paperwork was then sent through to me within the hour after viewing. The tenant portal has been straightforward also. Highly recommended.
Avoid.
Seasoned landlords booking Lettings valuation. It took three attempts to successfully book in our valuation visit after two errors that we identified.
On the day the Valuer never arrived, we chased following a 20 min wait and found they hadn’t left the office due to an ‘emergency’
Refused their services to avoid further disappointment.
Haart Estate Agent The Best.
Wow WoW what a team at Haart Estate Agent. From the moment we contacted Chris in December 2023 we knew we had picked right agent.
He explained everything to us step by step.
As it was a rental property managed by Haart he promised to put property on market 2 nd January.Giving the appropriate notice to tenant.
He was true to his word which is unusual these days.
Chris Karen and Kea kept us updated on all viewings.
We are now in later stages of selling.
We only have to phone Chris if we have any problems. As we are pensioners he actually listens and so helpful.
So if anybody out there is thinking about choosing an agent look no further. We throughly recommend Haart.
Incorrect information provided
I was viewing few flats with them and clearly agent who showed me the last flat was not really well prepared. I was informed that the flat comes with allocated parking space, but she wasn’t able to point it out. I decided to put the offer which after some discussion was accepted (at least that what I was told coz I have never seen any written co formation including the confrontation that my previous offers were rejected even I asked for it). I contacted mortgage broker, found the solicitor (payed deposit). As I was assured that there is parking space I just asked them to point out which one is allocated to this flat. After 24 hrs they came back to me saying that there is none and they are sorry. I don’t think so sorry is good enough (what’s more it didn’t really sound like they are sorry). The flat was 5 min walk from the high street, hence without allocated parking space that would be a nightmare to live there. Very disappointed with the service. I contacted solicitors they promised to give my deposit back (still haven’t received that but I am sure I will- that happened week ago). Really disappointed with the service. I am not sure if the incorrect information was provided on purpose or it was a mistake, but I found it extremely unprofessional.
SELLING NUMBER 74!
My sister and I would like to thank Kea Asomuyide for providing a great service and assistance during the negotiations while selling our house.
Kea has been eager to help, enthusiastic and very responsive.
We wish Kea all the best, she is a great asset to Haart.

We had issues when viewing the flat
We had issues when viewing the flat. The toilet seat was loose, the bathroom hand basin had no plug and the cooker's oven was disgusting! The letting agent saw this when I pointed it out.
I felt as though I was being fobbed off when these issues were raised and reported they needed addressing.
I would have thought it would have been obvious that they should check over the property before the next tenant moved in? Also the loose toilet seat posed as a health and safety hazard.
I won't ever consider recommending anyone to use this particular agency.
Extremely poor customer service!
Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful. Incompetent, lazy, rude. As a landlord I recommend using ANY other company than this one. No-one calls back, no-one knows anything and everything is an additional charge. Regret the day I ever used these amateurs posing as estate agents.

Horrible experience trying to rent
Horrible experience trying to rent a property, this property is alway available but never got sent an offer spoke with multiple agents multiple times but always ended up ghosted made for a frustrating and infuriating experience. If their attitude was this bad before renting, will probably treat rented properties they manage the same

Received a notice I need to vacate
Received a notice I need to vacate. The moment I received the notice I let them know I’m leaving at the end date of the contract not the end date of the notice. However they still said I was liable for the rent until then. Had issues with the property and they were always late in helping with this. Just the worst. Avoid!
"Unreliable and Negligent: A Frustrating Experience with haart State Agency in Maidstone"
My experience with haart state agency in Maidstone has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. After our offer was accepted to purchase a house, my family and I diligently completed all the required documentation as requested. However, the situation took a shocking turn when we contacted the agency to obtain the sales memorandum, only to discover that they had sold the property to another party without any prior notification to us.
This level of negligence and lack of communication is simply unacceptable. Not only did they fail to inform us about the sale to someone else, but it is evident that they lacked the basic competence to keep us updated throughout the process. The result of their incompetence is that my family and I now find ourselves in a dire situation. We had assumed that the property was secured, and due to their failure to communicate, we stopped actively searching for alternative accommodations.
Now, with our current house sold and no place to move to, we are left scrambling to find a new home at the last minute. The lack of professionalism and accountability displayed by haart state agency has caused unnecessary stress and upheaval for myself and my family. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before considering any dealings with this agency.
