High monthly cost, website is janky
I must have misread or misunderstood something. I signed up thinking this was going to be a $20-25usd a month subscription. I woke up one morning to a $90 charge, which I simply can't afford. For a set that is worth $200 intotal (The Warhammer Ultimate Starter kit) i would have been fine paying $20-25/mo for this. But $90 is far far too much. I get it comes with magazines, but the magazines fall apart instantly anyway so they're barely worth collecting. If this service had a more affordable option I would consider it, but for the time being this is not for me. If an option like that exists I'd love to hear about it. The website itself is incredibly hard to navigate. Nothing takes me where I wanna go so if someone has a link for a better option here for the subscription here in the USA that would be awesome. Delivery speed was great, and customer service replied quickly. I don't like that the email system is purely website based. If there is an issue where I can't get into my account (which happened) I can't communicate with customer support. This should be looked at imo...

To clarify the pricing, the issues are $14.99 (standard)/$17.99 (premium) each (before posting and packing), and we send out 4 issues every 4 weeks for a total of 90 issues. We do note that it would be 4 issues per delivery this in the "Subsequent Deliveries" section of the subscription form. As well as that, the magazine pages are designed to be taken apart and put into order in a binder.

Good idea, very poor quality.
Quality of the actual product is pretty low. Print quality of the pages is good. Binding is a joke. It literally looks like it was printed and bound as one large book then cut apart into pieces with ragged glue seams. The "tools" included with the subscription, namely the sprue cutters, are of the worst quality I have ever seen. The cutting edges do not even touch each other and what should be a precision ground surface looks as if a blind chimpanzee used a rock to hone the edge. Discounted models are quite nice, and some of the editions have neat little short stories, but most of the "magazine" is just a repeat of what was already printed in the previous ones explaining game play and trying to sell you on buying a full army, or really ridiculous "name generating" tables. Overall feels like a lot of cut corners and hollow fluff rather than a quality world building experience.

If you are having trouble with the Citadel fine detail cutters, then please email us directly using customer_service_us@contact.hachettepartworks.com, including your last order number and full address, so that we can look into this for you. If you can include a picture of the cutters showing they're not closing properly, we can look into a replacement for you, as this shouldn't be the case.

Great price for the models you get
Great price for the models you get. I like the magazine a lot. It teaches you slowly with the models you get how to play the game. Definitely worth my time and money in my opinion.

Best customer service team I’ve ever dealt with. Everything was no problem and the advisors, such as Keira, who helped me most recently, were friendly and able to fix every issue I had.

Hachette Partworks offers two 40k Combat Patrol Magazine options which overall saves you over 40% if you chose the more expensive option. . . The magazines always came in good condition and on time. And when I needed to discuss purchasing additional options, they had a phone number with a nice sales woman to help.

Disney book are wonderful, HOWEVER, not practical. Have paid £100s of pounds over 8 months with the understanding there would be a bookcase to place them all.

The only collection we have that advertises a bookcase is the Disney Mini Books collection, which, if you get a premium subscription, does send a bookcase at the end of the 100 issues. Since the collection has only been out since the 21st of January, no one has reached that point yet sadly.

The help I have had over the last 2/12…
The help I have had over the last 2/12 years whilst building a Model Lancaster BIII Dambuster model .over that time the Customer service team have been most helpful with any query or problem . All products are in great condition upon arrival, customer service has always been very helpful. My only complaint is that the guides that come with everything are almost always stuck together and they get ripped when I try to separate them. Otherwise I have no complaints
