Thank you for your enquiry. At HairPlanet, we offer only 100% human hair products. Each batch is bleached and colour-treated to achieve the available shades, which may lead to slight variations in colour from our colour rings and shade charts, resulting in minor differences between stock batches.
With this in mind, we provide 14 days for you to thoroughly inspect the product and determine if it meets your needs before installing or fitting it into a client's hair. If, for any reason, the product is unsuitable, we have a hassle-free return policy for all items.
We also advise against additional colouring or toning, as the hair may be resistant and porous. Depending on how the hair was processed during manufacturing, this can lead to uneven, patchy, and potentially damaging results. Therefore, any further colouring is at your own risk.
However, if you now feel a product is at fault, please do not hesitate to contact our customer care team at customerservices@hairplanet.co.uk. They will be happy to advise you further.

Thank you for taking the time to contact our team. I can see you have raised an enquiry stating that you have had extensions fitted, which are itching you, and the weft track has shorter hair at the top section.
I can see our advisor has followed up with advice to confirm that the shorter hairs at the top of the weft you are referring to are how the bulk hair is attached to the machine track. This manufacturing process is referred to within the industry as the “return.”
To prevent shedding, the top section of the bulk hair is folded over the track and machine-sewn into place. Bulk hair cannot be attached directly to the track; otherwise, it would shed clean away as the strand would not have anything to attach to. The exception is the hand-tied weft, ghost and flat wefts, which are manufactured differently with glue and/or hand-stitched processes.
On application, this portion is fitted face down flat to the head. In addition to this, fitted a minimum of 2-3 cm from the scalp to allow freedom of movement and maximum comfort during wear, any extensions which are fitted too tightly or close to the scalp can cause discomfort and also make it challenging to rinse when shampooing or conditioning, causing product build-up and issues such as traction alopecia.

I have worn planet hair for years but I am very sorry to say that the last ones were diabolical… they are the worst hair I have ever purchased.. cannot believe it…I have spoken to friends and they are agreeing that Planet Hair is not as good as it has been, don’t know what has gone wrong but since having these put in I have had so so many problems.
They are of such bad quality… disappointing!!!

Our hair extensions are intentionally oversized by up to 2-3 inches, resulting in a tapered effect at the ends. This allows for cutting and blending after application without losing any length or weight.
If the oversized portion is not trimmed, it may result in a wispy look and be the weakest part of the extension, making it more susceptible to heat and styling damage.
In addition to this we offer a full 14 days for you to fully inspect the hair to ensure you are 100% happy with your selection prior to application, and if for any reason you are not you can return for a refund/exchange. Really disappointed with the hair quality. Will not be purchasing again. I don’t think customer service take into account the cost implications of receiving poor quality hair extensions. They might offer to test the hair but this does not rectify the money spent on fitting, removal, and being left with no hair extensions whilst awaiting testing and then further cost to refit!

As it is almost 2 months since your purchase I am sure you will appreciate, the hair would need to be tested to ascertain where the issue is and why it has occurred. We do appreciate that this can be an inconvenience, but for us to investigate this further, we would need to receive the hair. Our unwavering commitment to quality ensures that every aspect of the hair's quality is thoroughly inspected in tests that take 3-4 working days. The hair will undergo a thorough inspection, including tests for hair and bonding material health, porosity, elasticity, pressure, and pH. After the inspection, the hair will be weighed and cross-checked against our stock records for reference
As advised, if a manufacturing fault is detected, a refund/replacement will be issued according to our terms and conditions of sale.
