We booked 3 days Usambara Hike and 2 days Safari to Mikumi national park with great Tour company Halisi African Adventures and we loved our visit to Mikumi. We saw many giraffes, elephants, lions, buffalo, wildebeest, impalas, hippos, and from a great distance, a leopard.
Usambara Mountains also was great we saw chameleons,nice viewpoints, nice landscape, Monkeys and lean about Tanzania culture.
Brighton arranged everything in our trip. Accommodations was perfectly, safari jeep was real nice and comfortable, Excellent safari Guide.

We contacted Halisi African Adventures about a trip to Mikumi National Park. It was a good choice. The tour was cheaper and France was a great guide with lots of knowledge and dedication to his job. The car was comfortable and safe both for transfer from Dar es salaam and during the safari. We saw lots of animals, and nearly. We saw elephants, baboons, impalas, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalos, different colourful birds and lions etc the half we saw very quickly.
The animals were not afraid at all, often stood and looked at us.
Great morning, day and evening being on safari in Mikumi with Halisi African Adventures.
I can recommend the experience to anyone looking for a wildlife experience. The guide was great and the park and the animals was really an experience.

We spent 7 days Tanzania safari with Halisi African Adventures and John as our guide and driver. His knowledge of the whole region, its animals, peoples and history and the way he shared this with us was very much appreciated. He ensured we always had a great viewing position when coming across animals and then gave us plenty of time to enjoy the moment. We thoroughly enjoyed the different styles of accommodation offered and the staff and food at all of them was exceptional. A highly recommended experience.

We booked 2 days safari to Mikumi National Park and Everything was perfect. The communication with Brighton went very well, the services provided were very good (Safari jeep, food, lodges).
Our guide and driver, Joel was a very nice and calm guy, he took care of all our needs and requests. Also, he went out of his way to find all the animals we wanted to see, including lions, and we felt very safe and secure with him.
All in all, we had an amazing time and we definitely recommend Halisi African Adventures to anyone who wants a similar experience at a reasonable price.

We would highly recommend Halisi African Adventures with to anybody wanting to do a safari around Tanzania and Hiking in Usambara Mountains. We did a 3 day hiking and 4 days safari and a trip to Zanzibar. This honestly was the best most fantastic trip we have ever been on, truly a dream come true.

Frank our driver was truly the best tour guide, he explained all that we needed to know and made every effort to make sure we got to see the animals we wanted to see. He was funny and so kind and definitely made our long journeys seem shorter.

We did 4 days Usambara Hiking and 5 Days Tanzania Safari With Halisi African Adventures. This completely exceeded my expectations and was absolutely the best tour I've ever been on. Everything we were told would happen, happened exactly when and how it was planned. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Extremely well organized, timely and clear communication,amazing service. I cannot praise Halisi African Adventures enough. As for the actually safari it was truly a lifetime experience, we saw all the animals advertised and it was incredibly relaxing to just be there and drive around the park. To top it off, even the food was good. I highly recommend you do your tour with them I promise you won't regret it. Best value for your money hands down. I'll definitely use them in the future and suggest them to all my friends. Our 5 days to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, lake Manyara and Tarangire was incredible!

We booked 5 day safari with Halisi African Adventures, which included Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Park. It was an amazing tour, I am happy that I was lucky to have such a wonderful people in my group, it was wonderful, unforgettable experience for me.
Our driver Fred was very friendly, kind man, he is a skillful driver who was able to handle those bumpy off roads and he has a good eye, so we could spot all the wildlife we wanted to see.

Reliable, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable are just a few of the words that apply to our wonderful driver guide Frank who was not only an excellent driver but also, he was knowledgeable about which places to go to and what to see. We were able to see everything we wanted: elephants, zebras, hippos, giraffes,Lions and many more.

We went on 3 day hiking in Usambara Mountains and 2 days Safari to Mikumi National Park from Dar es Salaam.

We had booked our tour directly with Halisi African Adventures a few weeks in advance, and Brighton the owner, was helpful and prompt with every response. Communication went smoothly all the way from the first contact to the end of our hiking and safari.

Hiking in Usambara Mountains it's highlight of our Trip in Tanzania, We learned about Tanzania Culture, history, local medicine and we like friendly people around mountains.

Brighton even took the time to meet us on the way, even if he had arranged for us to have a great guide already, France.

France showed a lot of knowledge about the wildlife and nature of both Tanzania and Mikumi. He was friendly and a good chat who kept us companied also during meals.

We did not want to get too high expectations about what game we would see during our short trip, but we were lucky enough to experience lions, elephants, hippos, buffalos,zebras,Impalas,giraffe and many more.
We would recommend Halisi African Adventures to anyone who wish to visiting Tanzania.

We did two big safari trips with Halisi African Adventures to Selous Game Reserve and Mikumi national park even though the weather conditions were not ideal Brighton suggested we start our trips very early in the morning even before our usual planned time just so we could see and enjoy as much as possible that is why i would recommend them to anyone wanting a good time in Tansania,
Our driver/Guide France was very friendly and professional making it possible for us to see 4 out of big 5 in only one day, we look forward to them planning our next trip to Ngorongoro crater when we come back to Tansania.

Me with my family are grateful for the wonderful Safari experience we had in
Mikumi National Park and Selous Game Reserve, Thanks to the excellent service provided by Halisi African Adventures. From the moment I contacted them the communication felt more personal than other companies. Our organizer Brighton was very attentive to our needs via text messaging and was able to organize the perfect tour for us. Even when the plans changed, and we had to move the dates, Halisi African Adventures was able to modify our schedule at no additional cost. Once we arrived in Tanzania, the hospitality and service we received was incredible. Brighton and our Safari Guide Frank welcomed us at the airport. The experience once in the Safari was beyond what we could have imagined. I was amazed at how well they handled all the logistics and made sure we enjoyed the experience. We highly recommend Halisi African Adventures.

The planning took months, due to the fact that we wanted a private, personalized tour for ourselves and our adult son. Brighton owner of Halisi African Adventures was incredibly helpful and accommodating.

We were picked up at Arumeru River Lodge by France, our driver and guide. It was a lovely place with ample accommodations and good food! In the hotel grounds we saw lots of dik-dik and ververt monkeys roaming about,
prelude to our animal sighting tour.

Our first night on Safari was spent in Tarangire National Park at Burunge Tented Camp. It was a beautiful lodge with a gorgeous view of the lake below! Our bungalow was beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. The facilities and restaurant, outstanding! Everywhere we went, the staff were helpful and very polite!

Our second night, at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge on Lake Manyara National Park was another wonderful experience. Again, a beautiful bungalow, great personnel, and good food! It was great to see how many Maasai are employed by the National Parks!
Our next three nights, the very best, we’re spent at Kati Kati Tented Camp in Serengeti National Park! What an experience! We loved being in the wilderness in a tent with all the luxuries possible! Loved the shower with its 20 liter solar heated water! The feeling of this camp was intimate and cozy, and the staff, marvelous! Here we had the very best food of all! great chef and fabulous staff!
Having a fire in the evenings before and after dinner, being awaken by the hyenas roaming around our tent at night, and watching the birds, zebras and giraffes from our breakfast area, was incredible.

Our last night was spent in Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu at the Farm House Valley, another lovely lodge, larger than the others with a great social area, swimming pool and fabulous, ample rooms. The food, buffet style, was delicious and so plentiful! Before dinner we were offered delicious finger foods to have with our aperitif.

As for the Safari experience, it surpassed our expectations! Because of France, our guide’s experience and knowledge of the areas, we were able to see The Big Five, but so very many more species, some rarely seen, such ada Serval, a bat eared fox, water eagles, and so very many more! He knew what each of us liked, and made sure we got to see everything!

We feel extremely lucky to have had such an experience, but feel truly privileged to have had France as our guide. Our experience with him could have not been better!

Finally it was Friday. That butterflies in my stomach were flying unstoppably and after a night without sleep the day had come: safari in Serengeti was on the program. I still can feel that relief when this car rolled in the compound and a friendly driver went out and presented himself as Frank. He helped us to board the car and took care of our bags then thanked us for choosing Halisi African Adventures and off we were. Picked up in Moshi - really appreciated first stop was Arusha to pick up the chief. Notice that he arrived in Moshi 1 hour before the time - soooo good . In Arusha he made sure we got a breakfast and the tour began. Such a lovely trip with agreeable people ( the guide and the chief) and we will have this days on our minds for ever. The trip started at Tarangeri , lake Manyara, Serengeti and finally Ngorongoro crater.
We could stay - and I really recommend to book a longer trip - longer. We had only 3 nights and this makes it drivy :-) Frank told us the same , 7 days is the optimal length of stay.
Anyhow, we really appreciated them organizing for this amazing experience for the 3 of us girls, and we were really good taken care of on the tour.
Frank made it possible to get us experience unique wildlife viewing and believe it or not we saw the BIG FIVE, and our chief was just so great: I particularly loved all the soups as starter so tasty. Thank you again Halisi African Adventures.

What an amazing adventure with Halisi African Adventures. Brighton was so patient and helpful with all of the planning/ questions and emails. He developed an excellent custom itinerary for us.
John was always present to help us transition between the climb,safari and airport. The mountain guides were the best at motivating, encouraging, and keeping us safe on the climb. They sang to us ad kept us moving up the mountain! All 5 of our group summited! John and Joseph are amazing guides! Mama’s cooking was great and “Fresh” service and comedic delivery kept us laughing. The porters work so hard and are always smiling!
The safari was equally amazing. Our guide France worked to put us on animals up close and personal. The lodges and tented camps we stayed at were awesome. The smiles, service and food were top notch.

Our experience 6 Days to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorangoro & Lake Manyara with Halisi African Adventures has been fantastic. Right from the beginning of the booking process they were very helpful, patient and fast at replying. This made the booking easy and stress free as they were always happy to answer any questions we had quickly. We felt very at ease knowing that any questions we had were always answered within a few hours (sometimes even minutes)! The attitude of all of the staff I spoke to was very friendly and accommodating. We had no communication issues as they all speak very good English. Our guide, Frank was brilliant. He was very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure getting to know him! He made sure we saw all of the animals we could've wished to see and made our safari very memorable and enjoyable. His timings were always excellent too! I liked that we were able to choose the accommodation in each location, we chose Comfortable options for them all and loved all of them. We had our safari in the standard Jeep with the pop up roof and it was great. A great way to give us the perfect safari!

We booked 6 days safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, balloon trip and more.
Thanks to our pleasant driver France, this became an experience for life. He was knowledgeable and patient, and told of the small and big we saw. In addition, he had good humor and we had a lot of fun on the trip.
The highlights stood in line, close contact with elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, strrruts, and much more. It will take a long time to digest all the experiences!
When it came to accommodation, we were especially pleased with the camps in the wilderness. It was exciting to just have a tent cloth between us and the wild animals, and hear all the sounds of the night.
Everyone we met on the trip was gentle and accommodating, and the service was top notch.
