Lied to and then mocked !

I was lied to by the salesman to get a sale on a new car (Harratts Leeds) - telling me I would be entitled to 12.5% off my next new car purchase so I agreed the sale.
I then went back the next year and was told that I was not entitled to this but could have discount on a model I did not want. I was also mocked when I told them what I was told by the previous guy (whom I was told has now left the company)
I complained direct to Volvo UK to make my feelings clear about sharp practice in Harratts
If you buy a car take all discount and expect nothing afterwards regardless what is said - better still use another dealer rather than Harratts
You have been warned...
PS They still phone me about attending sales events and I tell the person on the other end my story and to take me off their register - they never do and call me again - Stupid People

Untrustworthy.

I made a deposit on a second hand car on the understanding that I would get an immediate refund if I did not like the vehicle. The car was a heap of junk that should not have been put on the road. Rusty brake pipes, tyres with little tread left and it needed new carpets and seats. Four days later I still have not got my money back. They are a bunch of thieves and not to be trusted.

I would go else where

Harratts group

Myself and others have had terrible problems with used vehicles bought from this Yorkshire based company. Never have I been told so many contradictions by different people in the business. The quality of the vehicle I collected was dire, serious engine faults, electrical problems and an oil leak. Time and time again the car was taken back, each time it was returned in an even worse state. This is a Trading Standards recommended company – a disgrace. I am not the only, I have a co worked who got her new car home to find that the Alloy wheels had been swapped with steel ones, as one of the staff had been stealing them and selling them on.

I would seriously consider placing your car business else where.

A LYING CHEATING COMPANY,avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this company are nothing more than lying, cheating con merchants. They sell cars and tell you lies about how many owners the car you are buying has.We bought a car from them and paid a lot of money cash.We were told we were the third owner and after we bought it they did not send the log book so after chasing them up and finally recieveing it we were horrified to see that we were the 4th owners. When we called them we were basically told tough!!!.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Harratts Nissan Sheffield

Very poor service from Harratts Sheffield. I have now rung five times to try to speak to service dept. I have yet to get to speak to them. Other staff have been unable/unwilling to deal but have taken my number (on three times now). Only once have they rung back and - wouldnt you know it - that was the time I missed the call. I returned it within 2 minutes but again could not get through. On one of these occasions I was told there was only one guy there and he had a queue of people in front of him as well as other people on the phone on hold waiting.

I bet the sales department doesnt have this problem..

I would assume from this either that Nissans go wrong a hell of a lot, or Harrats cant be bothered servicing basic customer needs like a 2 minute phone call.
