Misrepresentation, Substandard Goods, and a Refund Process Built to Fail

jack-harrison.ca presents itself as a Vancouver‑based Canadian brand. That representation is misleading. The product ships from China, and the international nature of the business is not clearly disclosed before purchase.

The item I received was dramatically inferior to what was advertised. Poor fit, extremely low‑grade materials, and denim with painted‑on elements that made the product look counterfeit. This was not wearable and did not resemble the product shown online.

The 30‑day return policy is misleading by omission. Only after requesting a return are customers informed they must pay over $70 CAD to ship the item back internationally. This renders the policy meaningless for most buyers.

Customer service consisted of 15+ emails of delays and broken promises. Refunds and credits were repeatedly promised and never delivered. This was not a communication failure — it was a consistent pattern of avoidance.

Taken together — false impressions of location, misrepresented products, hidden return costs, and non‑existent refunds — this company demonstrates systemic disregard for consumer protection.
I strongly recommend avoiding this business.

Deceptive advertising. The jacket I ordered after reading their story of FB (I should have been suspicious) looking nothing like the product in their advertising pictures. It was shipped directly from overseas. No labels at all in the jacket so no way of telling what's it's really made of. The upper outside pocket are fake. The overall quality is poor.
Stay away from this fake place.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star!! Not even real zippers on the coat! Extremely disappointing and misleading. Worth 600$??!?! Hahaha I want a full refund asap

The quality of the picture and what you receive are not even close. The jacket I ordered was a puffy jacket with front zipper pockets, the jacket I got WAS NOT a puffy jacket and the zippers on the front pockets were a painting on the material. Totally crap. when I asked about the return policy I was told that it would probably cost me at least $75. to return it to China, or I could keep the jacket and they would give me back 10% ?? PLEASE BEWARE OF THEM !!

Total scam not a Canadian site. The website it's not even real the cloth they show on site with poor Chinese quality cloth. Asked to shipped back the jackets and the want to charge 75 dollars to shipped them back to China leaned my lesson don't buy when the offers are to good.

Web site it's a scam not even real the cloth are shipped from China with very poor quality and on topbofvthe they won't refund you the money after emailing the a few time. Total scam not a Canadian site be ware

Total crap, looks nothing like the advertising , not even close, looks like a little kids jacket made in China I’m assuming , they said one week to deliver took over one month, what an utter waste of money, not even going to try to return it

I would really think twice about buying from this company. I ordered a jacket from them, which to forever. When it arrived I opened the package and a total misleading, different, not to quality as advertised. When I email company about, the said sorry I didn't like what was sent. To return it, it has to go back to China at my expense. The gave me a rough estimate. Well that would leave me with nothing. No poor quality jacket and a couple bucks in my pocket. In my opinion I think it a big scam. Beware

I would just like to say,I purchased a Jacket from Harrison’s. I think it was dispatched from the moon! Took weeks to arrive! And to say I was disappointed with it is an understatement.
My 8 year old daughter could have made better.
Utter rubbish,How the get a way with it,Is beyond me.
I would strongly advise you shop elsewhere!!!

How i wished I'd read the reviews before I ordered. The jacket I ordered is the tattiest made sweat shop ill fitting dish rag I have had the experience of!! Do not buy anything from this China based sweat shop. I managed to get a 50% refund from the supplier and put the loss if 50% down to experience.......I reiterate do not buy from this company

I ordered a jumper for my wife which looked lovely in their pictures. Four weeks later it arrived,nothing like the one I ordered, cheap and nasty comes to mind. Don’t waste your money this company are not what they make out to be. I was conned.

Rubbish ordered large jacket when it came was tiny wdnot fit a 5 year old

I bought what was supposed to be a warm padded coat for £79. The quality was dreadful and the coat way too small, so had to return. I didn't do my research and found Oliver Harrison London are based in China!!! Found the address, no postcode, but my post office was able to find it. Weeks passed, didn't hear a thing. Couple of months passed so I emailed them. Was told it could be held a customs and to locate the parcel myself. Which I could not find. Lo and behold yesterday, my parcel has returned with 'unknown' ticked on a label. So I'm also out of pocket for £20 postage now!!! So all in all, £100 wasted. So I emailed them Monday, no reply.
These people are SCAMMERS, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!! 🤬🤬 If I could give zero stars I would have!!!!

This company is trading under different names on the 4th of October I ordered a winter coat, that I was charged £ 49.60 ,it was supposed to be delivered within four days i heard nothing for two weeks I emailed them, and they told me that the issue was with the delivery company, fast forward three weeks,i asked for a refund and they refused, so I contacted my bank, and within 3 days I had my money back...this happened under their other name HERMAN LONDON....But it the same people
