Just had a great night with David, Amy and there son Ollie at clifton Hall, my partner hurd someone's breath behind her, when Carla asked could they light up the ball it did... Made up with our out come, definitely will be doing this again... Huge thank you to David and Amy for a spot on night... Thank you.

Where do i start? ....we personally had a lovely night at the Skirrid from start to finish. The team were very accommodating. Plenty of giggles which was great for the atmosphere and building the energy. Team A with AJ was very relaxed, I've been with other event companies before where they have came across quite "strict" and didn't appreciate anyone giving their input or trying to interact with equipment etc. The team at Skirrid were total opposite and were happy to listen and encouraged us to use the equipment and interact. I found Carol the other team leader very welcoming and sociable and attentive to everyone making sure all was ok.
Thank you for a enjoyable evening, we will definitely be back again and booking more various investigations.

We attended Wisbech Castle on Saturday. This was our 2nd investigation with Haunted nights as we were impressed with the 1st one at The Red Lion, Colchester. We also had the same hosts which was great. We were there with a nice bunch of people but it was so hot, we were soon sweaty and grateful when it was our turn to do the vaults which were much cooler, and we headed back down there in our free time as I felt this was the place to find out more, having earlier sat down one end of a vault with an unexplained breeze blowing across my face. We went with some of the equipment provided and contacted a spirit who said he had perished there. All in all I really enjoyed the evening.

What a fun night

The location itself had a great atmosphere and plenty of potential for a genuinely interesting ghost investigation, and the people attending were all lovely. However, unfortunately the actual hosting and organisation of the evening really let the experience down.
Personally, the only historical information I knew about the church was from my own research beforehand, as the hosts provided very little background information throughout the night apart from pointing out where Fanny was buried. For a paranormal investigation, I expected a lot more history and context about the location to help build the atmosphere and understanding of the site.
At the start of the night, we spent around 10–15 minutes walking around the church using dowsing rods while one of the hosts mostly sat on her phone, which didn’t really create an engaging or immersive experience.
Later on, we moved inside and were meant to use an Ouija board, but it quickly became obvious that several people in the session didn’t actually know how to use it. One of the hosts gave a very uninformed explanation, which again took away from the credibility and atmosphere of the evening.
The break was honestly one of the best parts of the night. It was really enjoyable speaking with other guests and hearing about their paranormal experiences in different locations — that side of the evening felt much more genuine and engaging.
After the break, we investigated another room where, to be fair to the hosts, there simply wasn’t any activity. That obviously isn’t their fault. However, the final room unfortunately highlighted the lack of preparation again. The host using the spirit box didn’t seem to know how to operate it properly, to the point where I had to explain to the group how a spirit box is actually used and demonstrate it myself.
Overall, while the staff themselves seemed pleasant enough as people, they didn’t come across as enthusiastic, knowledgeable, or particularly invested in delivering a quality paranormal investigation experience. Their attitude throughout the night really showed, and sadly it affected what could have otherwise been a very interesting event.

Red lion hotel, colchester, Essex.
Excellent night. Few visits from the spirits. Was unsure and a bit sceptical but now...👻😱
Hosts were brilliant. Engaging with all the party.

Fabulous experience with haunting nights at the red lion ghost experience in Colchester. The people running the event were very friendly, welcoming and clearly very knowledgeable in what they are doing. I look forward to coming to another event soon.

We had a brilliant night at the Poltergeist Museum on Saturday with Amy and David. Myself and my friends have been a number of times before, but we really enjoyed our time here with Amy and David we much prefer how they run the nights in comparison to previous ones we have attended. I find the keep the nights moving quickly and keep everyone involved, there’s no waiting or moping around inbetween but most importantly how they communicate with the spirits and use the equipment is a lot more open minded and friendlier than other hosts. They are both incredible people and we really enjoyed our time together on Saturday!
We would really appreciate in future if when hunts was advertised who would be hosting them would be posted also so we could keep an eye out for when these two would be back (ALOT of other guests agreed with us!)
Thank you!

We (group of 5) had an amazing time with David and Amy at Rotherham poltergeist house & museum. Me and my mum are on walking sticks due to health issues but we were never excluded or made to feel a nuisance, they always made sure we had chairs whenever we needed them. The other people on the hunt with us were also so lovely and helped us out. Over all a 10 out of 10 experience and we will definitely be booking again for other events, no other company has ever made us feel so welcome. The night was jam packed with different activities, everyone got to have a go at what they wanted and it was very well laid out for maximum value for money! We will only ever use Haunting Nights now for our ghost hunts!! Thank you so much David and Amy.
Annette & gang xx

Please, please make sure that nothing unforeseen could make you unable to attend an event you’re considering booking with this company.
My partner purchased me a voucher, and several weeks beforehand she booked for me to take part in an event in February 2026.
A few weeks before the event I fell ill, and 12 days before the event we advised the company that unfortunately I would be too ill to attend and simply needed to withdraw. With several months left to run on the voucher we assumed that there would be plenty of other events on which to use it.
The company acknowledged our notification, but monumentally failed to advise that if the voucher wasn’t used on the February event it would be forfeit.
Several weeks later I noticed that there was an event in June that I’d like to attend, and we duly advised the company that we wished to use the voucher on this event instead, please.
The company replied that this wasn’t possible, because we’d already redeemed it on the February event. I challenged this, and was told that by 12 days before the event the insurance and venue payments would have been made. If the company had told us that if the voucher wasn’t used on the February event it would be void my partner would have attended in my place.
The company blame us for the situation, because when we withdrew from the February event we hadn’t specifically stated that we would want to use the voucher in a subsequent event. Surely common sense should have told the company that I would want to use the voucher when I was feeling well again ?. I was ill, not dead.
Confusingly, having claimed that changing the event would have been impossible because the venue and insurance would have already been paid, they now claim that if they’d been told we wished to change the event in our withdrawal notification then non-specified “other options” would have been available. Surely a situation is either impossible to change or it isn’t ?. And if other options were available, then why aren’t they available any more ?.
We completely accept that a refund wasn’t available and have never asked for one, but do feel that given the company’s woeful communications that some flexibility on their position would have been appropriate.
