Travelled from Norwich to visit the shop, I’m a plus side bride and was very anxious with my size. The ladies instantly made me feel at ease, they were friendly and warming. I found out I was pregnant before my first fitting, which I feared would be a struggle, however it was no issue. We found a dress and it was altered after I had my baby, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my dress fit perfectly.

Overall my experience was excellent, the shop was clean and the dresses were beautifully presented, all staff were kind, patient and supportive, it was definitely worth the journey.

I couldn’t recommend Heart Brides enough, for any bride. I didn’t have much support from family but definitely hit the jackpot with the ladies in the shop.

LIFE SAVERS!!! … I had to change my dress 6 weeks before the wedding due to being pregnant. Myself, mum and sister went to this boutique and found the most perfect, timeless and classy dress. So many compliments on the dress. The lady and the younger girl (sorry I’ve forgotten names) were so lovely to deal with and accommodating. Made us feel right at home. There was no pressure to buy, no pressure into having to find something. Their knowledge of sizes and styles were spot on. Would definitely recommend this boutique to others! Even recommended a seamstress who squeezed me in time for my big day. Thanks again from the lady with her sister and mum, the mum who’s face said it all lol! X

I was so impressed with the ladies at heart brides.I am a curvy woman and do not really wear dresses,so was nervous for my appointment.I need not have been!they totally understood,were friendly,patient,bubbly and kind!there was no pushyness or body shaming.I found my dream dress with there guidance.

Oh my days. Brides to be please go visit the lovely ladies at heart brides. I was dreading my appt I am not a girly girl or a dressy up person, I'm kinda short and kinda plump and wondered if I would find anything in my style (didn't have a clue what that was either) or size. We had the briefest of chats and then it felt like supermarket sweep, grabbing dresses of the rails to try on. Well long story short (much like myself) I found my perfect style and my perfect dress. It was a totally wholesome afternoon. There were little tears and massive smiles. And I felt amazing thanks to the lovely ladies in the shop.

Amazing boutique with lovely staff and atmosphere. Good selection of styles and sizes and no pressure at all to commit with a purchase. Happy to say I did say yes to the dress as I found just what I was looking for. Thank you ladies!

Perfect experience today! All the ladies were helpful, friendly and put me right at ease. Very honest about what alterations could and couldn’t be made, which I really appreciated. As a plus size bride who needed a dress for 8 weeks’ time, I was very nervous about dress shopping, but the ladies here made me feel truly special and beautiful. I said yes to the dress! I would highly recommend.

I wondered into Heart Brides completely clueless as to what I wanted as I’m not very girly I really thought I would struggle but the ladies in the shop were incredible! She asked me to pick 5 dresses that I liked the look of from the rails and so I do and needless to say the 3rd dress of the 5 became my ultimate dress! Absolutely beautiful.

The care and attentiveness I received from heart brides was second to none! An incredible team providing outstanding service and quality and support to all brides. Thank you for everything ❤️

I wasn’t expecting to find a dress as it was 2 weeks away from the wedding, I bought a dress online but realised last minute that I didn’t want to miss out on the wedding dress shopping experience. There was a decent range of dresses in different styles for plus size bride. I was made to feel really welcome and my assistant was super lovely and encouraged me to try on different styles, which I maybe wouldn’t have tried on the dress I ended up buying if the assistant didn’t encourage me to, as initially I didn’t think it would suit me. The first dress I tried on I fell in love with and ended up being my dress! The team were amazing and scrambled together to get the alterations done in such short notice. All the ladies were lovely and I was made to feel really beautiful in my dress.

Only small critique would be that the dress did feel ever so slightly a little bit expensive for what it was. It was a full skirt dress but was pretty plain (no beading/lace etc). I had been to a chain bridal outlet store where they had similar full skirt dresses with lots of lace/ beeding/ diamantés etc for a similar price and even within heart brides own collection so could be something that they could consider when pricing. However, I was obviously still happy to purchase the dress and would rather support small businesses and still felt amazing on the day wearing it. Lovely store would definitely recommend to any bride looking for their dress.

Lovely little bridal shop!
After visiting my first bridal shop locally with bad experience I was recommended this lovely little bridal shop. I was allocated as much time as I needed tho knowing what I wanted as soon as I walked through the door, I told the girls and they fetched me 4/5 dresses to try on. After trying the 3rd dress I fell in love with it even though it was 2 sizes to big they quickly explained to me that they use selected local seamstresses and put me in contact with some. I paid for my gorgeous dress on the day in full and recieved a free vail and hair piece of my choice. I have had spot on service with both this bridal shop and the seamstress they recommended and I highly recommend them to anyone (which I have done and now they have gained more custom). So Thank you Girls for both my Gorgeous Dress and your Professional Happy Friendly Attitudes. 😊❤️👌

I brought my dress back in march and married last Saturday and I cannot recommend heart brides enough! The ladies in the shop were incredible, supportive, kind and caring to everyone involved! They were patient and let me stand in each dress for as long as I wanted! There was no pressure to buy, they let me leave and come back to give me time to make a decision!
They made me feel confident and amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave many recommendations for veils and accessories. They also recommended a place for alterations which were also incredible! If you want someone to try on dresses whilst feeling comfortable, welcome and confident this is definitely the place. I can’t thank everyone enough for how amazing they made me feel after I was so apprehensive to try on dresses!

We went to Heart Brides to see if we could find my best friend Linda her wedding dress. Well we were so pleased we went. My bestie is plus size and they had an amazing range of dresses for the curvier bride. She tried on about 8 to 10 dresses which made the decision making very difficult. But in the end Linda SAID YES TO THE DRESS. Zoie and Chantelle were amazing. They made Linda feel so at ease. The atmosphere in the boutique was really relaxed and friendly and it didn’t matter how many times Linda needed to retry any of the dresses, nothing was too much trouble. The ladies were very helpful, chatty and kind. We would happily recommend Heart Brides.

Had such an excellent experience at Heart Brides! The ladies were so, so lovely. They were really encouraging and guided me towards dresses that they thought would suit me. They had a vast selection of dresses in a range of sizes that I could choose from. I paid for my dress in full on the day which meant I even got a free veil and accessory!! I loved the experience so much that I sent my fiancé back to find her dress there too.

Okay so I'm a plus size bride (now) wife, I had me, my maid of honour, mum and my daughter age 8 with me. We was on a budget and the nice lady who helped us find my perfect dress. We picked a few dresses out tried them on but it was the first dress I tried on. I felt like a queen and my family absolutely loved it on. She was so nice to me and my family I even got my vail as well from heart brides. On the day of my wedding every single person said how beautiful my dress was it was perfect and my husband cried so thank you to heart brides :) xx

Being a plus sized bride made me so uncomfortable looking at dresses - I went to heart brides and they were so accommodating, made me feel comfortable from the very first moment. Ended up choosing my dress with them in early 2020 all costs were laid out clearly and then covid hit and they stored my dress for 3 YEARS!! Communication was so good with them being contactable by phone and Facebook, incredible people and have recommended to other family members who are getting married! on the whole a wonderful experience and would 10/10 recommend to anyone even considering a visit.

When I arrived at the shop we was welcomed with open arms by the team at Heart Brides. I was very nervous before I went in the shop being a plus size bride. I was worried they wouldn't have a dress big enough or I would end up saying yes to the dress because it fitted but this wasn't the case at all. I was walked over to the rail where all the dresses were hanging. Chantel helped me pick out some lovely dresses. We went into the changing room and she helped me into the dresses I had choose. After trying on 4 dresses I found my dress. She went out to find a smaller size because it was too big. Chantel, Zoie & Lisa all commented on how lovely the dress was. They said to alter the dress wouldn't be a problem and they gave me details of a lady who could help me. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone in the shop. It wouldn't of matter if I tried 1 dress on or a 101.
This was the only bridal shop I went to and I'm glad I choose Heart Brides. I honestly can't thank them all enough.

The ladies at heart brides were amazing. After having a baby & my body shape changing I wasn’t remotely excited about trying on wedding dresses but they made my whole experience really enjoyable & I loved my dress. I would definitely recommend them. A couple of things to note for future brides, you cannot take photos in the dresses unless you have bought it, I wanted to take photos to do a side by side comparison of two I loved but wasn’t allowed.
I also got my accessories from heart, my hair vine got so many compliments & we used spare bits to put in my bridesmaids hair which looked amazing, my veil was beautiful but I ended up with a cathedral length version when I wanted a fingertip length. I didn’t open the package until my wedding morning so it was too late to do anything about it, but it still looked absolutely beautiful. On the whole an excellent experience, hopefully I will have a long and happy marriage so I won’t be back as a bride but will happily recommend to my friends and family.

Absolutely amazing service, the ladies here can not do enough for you, beautiful dress shop, and most importantly the most perfect dresses at a reasonable price!

I arrived for a scout of dresses not expecting to find one straight away as I had next to no idea of the style of dress I wanted, the ladies were so helpful and picked out loads of different styles for me to try, we narrowed it down and then tried on a load more! Nothing was too much hassle for them and we were not rushed at all! …. Their selection of dresses is amazing, and even the after sales for alterations etc is also amazing. The great affordable prices are also a massive bonus, and quality is certainly not compromised !!!! ….

If you’re thinking of heart brides go for it!!!

I made a visit here last year as my wedding was April this year. I wasn't disappointed atall. The lady who dealt with me was very friendly, chatty, and made me feel totally confident getting stripped off to try the dresses on. She let me stand on the podium as long as I needed while my mum helped me decide, and she took a couple of photos for me too. I finally decided on my perfect dress and she recommended a wonderful seamstress to alter it, whom I booked in with. Highly recommend this business- great choice of dresses for all budgets too!
