Great experience from start to finish. Any works needed was done straight away. Having bought cars from a dealership, I was a little nervous about venturing elsewhere. I was totally blown away by the personal experience I got from Heartys. I would definitely give this place 5 stars. You won’t be disappointed by how this business operates.

What can I say. It doesn’t matter what needs doing , it gets done. Not just any tyre ( a brand new one ) what a lovely overall experience and Simon is just a genuine person who wants you to drive away with your dream. I cannot fault their service and aftercare .

Having spending some time searching for my new Mercedes SL I discovered Heartys of Peterborough had the specific model, a few telephone conversations and I was on my way to view with reassuring words from Simon, the Mercedes was a true description of the website and photos after a test drive I decided to purchase the vehicle, with no rush to collect as I wanted the car to be mechanically flawless as possible so we decided two weeks to complete the list of service repairs.
On collection Simon had done all he promised and more , unfortunately driving back to Derbyshire the transmission developed a fault ( I must emphasise this could not have been discovered only with a extended drive of 40 or so miles )
I contacted Heartys who mentioned the 3 month warranty but because the transmission issue was classed as a inherited issue by the warranty company it was not covered..
Simon went out of his way to sort the problem paying my local Mercedes Garage directly ( a very expensive repair ) so all in all Simon Hearty a man of his word I would recommend anyone to travel to Heartys of Peterborough to purchase their new vehicle. Unbelievable quality service sorely missed in these modern times.

We usually hate buying cars. We don’t know much about the mechanics and need to rely on the integrity of the seller. Our elderly Vauxhall Insignia had died suddenly, and we needed a replacement urgently. We first went cheap. And found it to be nasty as well. The seller confidently told us they had a 114-point check, and their mechanic checks all their cars. We took a car for a 3 mile test drive and it came back smoking and smelly. We moved on. And on. Until we found Heartys of Peterborough. What a difference. Pre-loved cars of all models, ages, sizes and prices. We found one we loved. It was well displayed and clean. Simon allowed us to test drive the car by ourselves. Simon was genuine, straight-forward and honest. Yes, an honest used car dealer. Whatever next?! We had found one. Heartys are the main dealer of pre-loved vehicles, without the main dealer mark-up. All the standards you would expect when buying a high-end car at pre-loved prices. And a warm welcome to everyone, whatever the budget. Although it was already spotless, our car was washed and cleaned before we drove it away. We will definitely be back. Next time we need a car, Heartys will be our first and only stop.

We saw a car advertised on the Auto trader website at Heartys of Peterborough. This a family run business and a lot smaller than the huge car supermarkets located around Peterborough which I thought would help with buying.

The pictures looked great and professional. On visiting the showroom it was well presented, and the staff were clearly customer orientated with their friendly but in no way pushy approach. They allowed us without pressure to view the range of which there are great selection and competitive prices from older to newer and executive makes of car. We had a car in mind and Simon was very helpful and forthcoming answering all questions we had without hesitation that made us feel he could be trusted.

With some room for negotiation around some small cosmetic issues on the vehicle we agreed a price and it was arranged to collect this a few days later with all points rectified, a full service a one years MOT completed.

After collecting the car and returning home I realized the retractable parcel shelf was missing. After a call and conversation, Simon said he would arrange for this to be provided and again within a few days the items was safely delivered via courier to our home.

All in all a fantastic experience from start to finish and I feel that if I have any issues in the coming weeks Simon and his team would be more than willing to help and assist if required.

You cannot rate a car sales company on how nice they were when you bought the vehicle, you can only rate them on how they are when something goes wrong, and that is what happened with me. Unfortunately shortly after purchasing my car it had a fault. This wasn't something that could have been predicted, it is simply something that happens. Simon was very good and ultimately the car was repaired under warranty. Then another fault with the car, this time not covered by warranty. However, Simon once again was excellent and arranged to cover the cost of the repair direct with the garage. It's never nice when something goes wrong, or is wrong with a used car, but knowing that the garage it is purchased from are professional and are very helpful in getting the car fixed is what matters, and in this respect Hearty's of Peterborough and Simon cannot be faulted. That is why I say unreservedly I would have zero hestitaion in purchasing another vehicle from them.

We recently bought a car from Heartys online via Autotrader—- we live nearly 200 miles away so it wasn’t the most straightforward of transactions —-my contact was Simon —- from start to finish I honestly couldn’t fault the service from him — communication was good and anything that needed doing was done—- quickly and efficiently—- the car is absolutely fine and he makes a good mug of coffee as well.

RECENTLY BOUGHT A 13 REG C 4 PICASSO, FROM HEARTYS, SERVED BY SIMON, CAR DEVELOPED A INJECTOR FAULT AT MOTORWAY SPEEDS, SIMON GOT STRAIGHT ON TO THIS, HE PROVIDED A LOAN CAR, WHILE THE CAR WAS BEING FIXED,HE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFULL, LOOKING THROUGH THE CAR'S SERVICE HISTORY, I FOUND A NOTE FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER, TO HIS GARAGE PEOPLE, DESCRIBING THIS EXACT PROBLEM, DATED A FEW WEEKS BEFORE MY PURCHASE,YET THERE WAS NO RECEIPT FOR THIS WORK TO BE FIXED, SO SEEMS THE GUY CLEARED THE FAULT, AND TRADED THE CAR INTO HEARTYS,AND AS THE CAR FAULT ONLY SHOWED AT HIGH SPEED,HEARTYS COULD NOT HAVE KNOWN OF THIS FAULT, THE SERVICE WE HAD FROM SIMON, WAS SUPERB, FROM OUR FIRST MEETING, WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH HOW SIMON,TREATED US,AN HONEST, OPEN GUY,WE WILL NEVER BUY ANYWERE ELSE, SADLY, GUYS LIKE SIMON, ARE A RARE BREED IN THE CAR TRADE THESE DAYS,IN SEPT 23, WE WERE SOLD A WRECK BY CARSHOP NORWICH,[ THEY HAVE A NEW NAME NOW ] BUT THE ENTIRE WORKFORCE IS STILL THERE ] £12.495, THIS CAR COST US,WE ARE GOING TO COURT JAN 25, THE COURT PAPERS, [ EVIDENCE ] SHOW CAR HAD COMPLEAT SUBSTANDARD REPAIRS/RESPRAY, AND IS NOW SHOWING RUST ALL OVER, YET CARSHOP CLAIMED THAT THEY HAD NEVER DONE ANY BODY WORK TO THE CAR, EVER, YET THE SELLING AUCTION, NOTED ALL ROUND DAMAGE TO THE CAR,THAT ALL DISAPEARED, BEFORE OUR BUYING IT, CARSHOP, LYING BARSTEWARDS.

I cannot praise the transaction enough from collection at the railway station to driving away with the car. Presented perfectly Simon was both helpful and knowledgeable. The stock on site was impressive and well priced. I would not hesitate buying again or recommending them to family or friends.

We went to view a few different cars in the 7 seater category.
We ended up buying a SEAT Alhambra off of them it was a good experience from start to finish we took car out on test drive then had a good look around it.
We found a couple of minor issues which they fixed with no quibble and when sorting out handover found them to be very professional.
Simon was very helpful and had alot of good knowledge on car would definitely buy again from them.

We bought our Mercedes from here a couple of months ago and the car has been faultless, the service was excellent.
Had a small issue with the DVLA with the car we traded in and Simon was happy to sort it out for us.
Highly recommended and will buy from again.

I bought my Audi A3 TDI S Line from Heartys of Peterborough. First of all when I was searching for a car there were two things I was adamant that I wanted. This was DAB radio and Cruise Control! According to their advert for this car it had both. It does have DAB radio however but I found out after purchasing this vehicle that it most certainly does not have Cruise Control!! The advert specifically stated Cruise Control in the list of specs for the car. This is false advertising and should not be allowed!! Plus when I first saw the car I noticed it said it was ULEZ compliant but when I did a check on the internet it said it wasn’t ULEZ compliant. When I emailed them about this they said it wasn’t ULEZ compliant but never mentioned how they have put the wrong information on their advert.

Also the back window wiper doesn’t work but I am dealing with that through the 3 month warranty which was supplied when I purchased the car. But still they would have checked the car over and had an mot done on the car (although I know the back window wiper doesn’t matter when it comes to an mot) so they at least could have informed me about this!

But more recently we've realised that the windscreen wipers are not working properly with it being more noticeable since the weather has not been great and we do a lot of driving on motorways and main roads. I said to my husband that these windscreen wipers are not the proper wipers for our car and he didn’t believe me. However when he took them to Halfords to get new ones the man at Halfords said that they weren’t the right windscreen wipers for our car! Halfords fitted the new ones and now they are perfect. But what is most annoying is that I recently did another check on the car (because I need to replace the sun visor clips because they are broken and I needed to know which chassis the car had to get the right ones) and I found out that the car failed the MOT due to the windscreen wipers not clearing the screen properly but then the same day it passed the MOT however the issue was NEVER fixed!! It’s totally disgusting to be honest with you! I have already had one accident (not my fault by the way) and was the reason I was purchasing another car in the first place! Those windscreen wipers could have caused another accident!! And I have had my kids in the car!!

This is what prompted me to write this review. Even though I am fuming about the cruise control because I really needed it on long journeys and now I am stuck with this car for at least the next 5 years WITHOUT cruise control!
I was just going to let it go and not bother writing a review but the windscreen issue made me decide to write it because I needed to express my experience with other people so they can make their own minds up.

Simon at Heartys of Peterborough has been brilliant regarding my purchase. Picked the car up and the car had a few minor issues and Simon got them sorted in very good time. Very happy with my purchase thank you Simon.

We purchased a Juke a while ago from Heartys which was just still in warranty. On the day we collected it they informed us of an audio fault but said that they had arranged for a nearby Nissan garage to fix it, and that we should get in touch with them. When this arrangement fell through Heartys washed their hands of the matter and resorted to ignoring our attempts to contact them. We would not trust them and will never deal with them in future.

I recently purchased an Audi TTS Black Edition from Hearty's but thought I would wait until i was nearly out of warranty before I left a review.I liked Hearty's because of the hassle free sales.I was greeted by Tim on my initial visit who politely asked if I needed help with anything,I already had looked at the car on their website so knew it was what I wanted.I had a few issues early on with the car,first one being an injector issue which was fixed under my 3000,3 month Hearty warranty,I also had an issue with vibration through the steering which was eventually solved after a number of visits to Mr Tyre and then a Quattro specialist(Quattro-Tech) which recommended Hunter Road Force Balancing.Once this was done at Franks Automotives the issue was solved and the car is driving the way it should.Simon and Tim were both helpful during this process and I think that's exactly what good service is all about.If you want a decent car and customer service then I recommend a visit to the showroom,no hassle and no bs sales pitch.Just two decent blokes happy to help.
