Poor management …

Spoke to several people regarding warranty on curling iron since 9/26/24, I phoned told rep street address incorrect day of she didn’t want to correct. Phoned back 3 days since they assured me product was being delivered. Guess what product sent back to them due to street address! Manager Lisa put in for redelivery to correct address 7-10 days! No expediting per Lisa the manager! What customer service huh when I did everything I should but they refused to correct Sycamore for address and spelled Sicamore duh!!! I might get warranty product sometime this year that was Paid extra for?

Very positive feedback for Helen of Troy

I dont understand how it can be so many bad reviews...
My experience was very good, very quick and easy problem resolving, i can.not be more greatful about all the process 🥰

Big thanks to Aleksandra who i was on the phone fir first time about my faulty hair dryer, all instructions she gave me was clear and easy, my continiuos apreciation goes also to Steve, who make sure my hairdryer will reach me and answered all my questions afterwards 🙂

Profiteers who downgrade known product names after purchase of name

I think this company takes trusted known household names and reduces quality and costs for profit. Honeywell space heater is thoughtlessly engineered and potentially a firestarter. Coils inside get hotspots and glow. My first one started smelling like plastic and smoke started coming out of the back. The company sent me a replacement and asked me NOT to take it back to Target for a refund. The replacement immediately has an orange colored hotspot while functioning on low. I am afraid to switch it on to high. Avoid. This company uses trusted names, GUTS their quality, and whores out the products which are not well engineered. AVOID.
I have a recently purchased PUR pitcher also, which they also BOUGHT from Proctor and Gamble, and the handle snapped off the side of the pitcher. Poorly thought out and engineered to break. AVOID.

They take no responsibility for there…

They take no responsibility for there products, in this case a Braun oximeter that does not function. They send me back to the seller Etos, and they send me to Braun,and Braun send me to Helen of Troy ,and Helen of Troy sent me to Etos and so on.
Nobody takes his responsibility. Customer care they call it.
Its a shame. Dot't buy anything from them.

Bought Revlon hair air drying brush

Bought Revlon hair air drying brush. Fist off handle is HUGE and overheats to the point you can BARELY hold it! Item broke and I called and sent pictures and they refused to replace. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!! Rep on phone was rude and kept interrupting me. Products are JUNK and they refuse to stand by them! DO NOT BUY!

Excellent service!

My hair styling brush broke last weekend and I reported the faulty product to Helen of Troy. The response was very quick and I received a brand new replacement within 4 days! Brilliant service!

Avoid this company.

Avoid this company.

Purchased a hairdryer from them under the Vidal Sassoon range. The hairdryer exploded in my hand while using it. Customer service was abysmal, kept fobbing me off and not claiming responsibility. Never purchasing from them ever again. Avoid like the plague.

Fantastic customer service

I am puzzled by so many negative reviews. I contacted customer services about an issue with my styling brush. The response was quick and helpful and furthermore I received a brand new product within 4 days as my product was still under guarantee. Helen of Troy have restored my faith in customer service and I would not hesitate to recommend them based on my experience.

Update Feb 2024: From my most recent experience with the company, it seems that there has been an improvement in the Customer Service department. In January 2024, the reps were quite empathetic and receptive when the humidifier began leaking. It was a different model this time. Will the problem of leaking Honeywell humidifiers be resolved? I certainly hope so as they have many good features! Until then, the company will need to continue to serve the customers with replacements as they did with mine. Thank you.
Initial review: Fri, Feb 18, 2022, when I called Helen of Troy, no one answered the telephone during 1 full hour when supposedly there was a meeting. Yet this information was only added at the end of a lengthy voice message recording. I called back and for at least 35 min I was put on hold, wasting more of my time while a receptionist looked for someone to take my call and address the problem of my leaking Honeywell humidifier. She could not even find one individual to take the call! Yesterday I received a 'form type' email from a Bethany (Consumers Relations) asking me for my shipping address, among other contact details. I responded promptly to her email and yet she did not reply. It would appear that she did not even read the details in my initial correspondence. 
I have one of your Honeywell humidifiers which is leaking for no apparent reason. I have purchased the same brand for years and know how to use it. In the past, there was a local service / delivery
depot in Canada which provided assistance. All of this has changed. Now, there is no one to take my call, no one with whom to speak with directly!

Liars and completely useless customer…

Liars and completely useless customer service!
I bought a Hydraflask which had a faulty lid so I claimed a new lid on warranty. BIG mistake!

This started a process that has been going on for months now.
After many updates back and forth in their useless customer service system (why don't use e-mail?) they decided that I was entitled a new lid on warranty. After a few weeks a lid was delivered on my door with DHL but also a invoice for tax and customs clearance. Back to the useless customer service system and after many, many updates, pictures and hassle they told be the invoice had been taken care of.

I was so stupid to believe what they said and went on with my life.
After a few weeks I get new invoice from a credit debt company (Lowell) that DHL had sold the invoice to because it had not been paid or taken care of by Helenoftroy. The case is now closed in the customer service system and my lid cost me 50Euros, double the price of the flask that bought.

Criminals …

Directed to them contacting Braun about faulty ear thermometer during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC and there is no way of contacting them for free. In incredibly glitch email form on their website but submit button is not hyperlinked.... Just a dead button. So they make you spend all the time to fill out a form for nothing... Leaving the only way to contact them a phone number which costs up to 65p per minute... This is a money black hole, draining our economy. Criminal.

AWFUL

AWFUL. My experience echoes that of other posts. Here is a response I received after waiting more than four weeks for a replacement for a defective lid for a hydroflask.

Your case has been escalated multiple times now, and every time it is taken out from the escalation queue because of your replies. We understand this is annoying, however we must ask you to please wait while this ticket is in the escalation queue or it will not be taken up by a specialist.
As soon as we have an update available for you we will let you know.

They are dishonest

They are crooks. Offered a discount but took full payment. Keep promising to refund but haven’t done so 6 weeks later. There is no after sales customer service. Please do not buy from them.

Helen of Troy - Awful!

This company represents Braun Thermometers, and many others. Their name appears on the box containing the thermometer. Being faulty well within the guarantee period of two years, I have tried to contact H of T, without success. They have no available email address, their website 'Support' doesn't work, their telephone numbers don't connect to anybody.
I note that all the reviews for this company are bad. Why do they have two-and-half stars?

Disgraceful

This company is a complete disgrace I purchased a Honeywell Dehumidifier which became faulty within the 3 year guarentee period on September 3rd 2020 I first reported this issue to them I am still waiting for it to be resolved despite numerous phone calls and emails. deal with them at your own risk

No help at all. Braun wake up, I don't know what you're paying for!

I had a problem with a braun healthcare product. Their "customer service" is "managed" by Helen of Troy. Helen of Troy has a a contact us link with an email option, once you fill the form in, it can't be submitted! I tried Safari, macOS Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Not working. I then had to call their customer service (how 1980s is that!) just to be told that they don't have a service, no repairs, nothing, just told to take the batteries off. WHat exactly is the service they provide Braun?

Company does not follow up on Warranty…

Company does not follow up on Warranty promise.

Bought a Honeywell fan from these people and recently the base of the product has snapped in half, as well as the fans motor completed stopping working.

I have tried to reach out to them but am currently being ignored. Please sort this ASAP.

I bought a Hydroflask made by these…

I bought a Hydroflask made by these people. The seal went under their guarantee and I requested a replacement. They kept asking for more photographs to be sent by a complex system. They claim they cannot accept emails. I have waited for FIVE months now with promises and excuses. Still no seal which must cost less than 50p to make.
DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS. A useless company.
