I've never ordered anything here before. I decided to order a Spirit full set, but I just wasted two days of my time. Patrick cheated me, and he doesn't even blink. I'm done with them, and I don't even want to think about helidirect.соm anymore.

Paid for 3 day expedited shipping, 5 days ago - items still have not shipped. Customer service tells me paying for expedited shipping doesn't guarantee expedited shipping.

Bought 3 Flywing scale 470 helicopters. The canopy on the Bell 412 is badly out of alignment with the rest of the fuselage. Called and had to push them to agree to exchange. Sent heli back and they sent the same defective one back still badly out of alignment with evidence they tried to unsuccessfully fix. Won't buy from them again

Waiting too long to get my order and no way to contact a live person and their chat box stopped responding, can't get an answer. Can't recommend this company to anyone.

Ordered an item at 9:54am on a Monday. My card was charged by 10:00am that same day. My matchbox sized order sat until Wednesday before it was dropped in an envelope to go out. Now it has went between UPSP DC's for the last 3 days less that 70 miles from where I am located. This is 2 times now with the same scenario. The first time it took over a month to get my order and they just aren't very concerned because they have my money already. I will never buy from them again. Oh and they made an excuse that they had a sale on over the 3 day holiday weekend and had over 1300 orders. So what, it's not my fault you can't handle your business load. Why didn't it have a warning that things might be delayed when I ordered my item? The fastest thing about this company is how fast they get the money from the customer. After that they pretty much don't care how it goes for the customer.

WOW is the only word that describes Patrick & HeliDirect.
I understand when electronics go south.
I even understand an item not being in stock.
But Patrick made my replacement absoulty painless, simple and I am a very happy camper.

Their is not a better company with better customer service or with a better selection of sponsored pilots.

I attempted to purchase two sale items from HD and my order was promptly cancelled the next day. When I inquired as to why my order was cancelled they informed me that they did not have the product to fulfil my order. Sounds suspicious but so be it. 1 day later my card is charged the full amount of the order that was cancelled. They now tell me that it will take a week for my refund to be processed. Terrible buying experience and will never buy from Helidirect again. After getting on to leave this review it seems that bad customer service and business practices are an ongoing and unresolved issue for Helidirect.

They told me shipping would be 5 to 7 days. It's been twenty days still no package. Is no help from hell direct.l will never use this company again.
Customer service total liars deniers.
The people that work at this company have no integrity.

Dont get the free shipping. Still waiting on my package over a week later. Ten days to get it. Tracking wasnt updated til the last day. Leaving me wondering where it was and when I would get it. Recieved in good condition.

Called the other day for some help with the push/pull bar on the XL Power NME 700, was told that I would get a call back...never did. Called and left a message, still nothing and it's now 12 in the afternoon. Hopefully I'm done buying all the parts I need from them because their customer service sucks. Going through Amain Hobbies from now on.

I received the flywing FW450 V3L RTF version helicopter a spare battery, and pulse battery checker as a birthday gift from a friend who lives in Canada.
Of course all of this came before my birthday one box arrived on the 27th of February and the other on the 28th so I waited for my birthday which was this month March and opened the 2 boxes that had arrived on 2 separate days close to three weeks before my birthday.
As soon as I saw the name flywing I was not thrilled this thing has had nothing but issues in all renditions of this particular model.
The following afternoon though I went ahead and proceeded to charge the batteries just to find out one of them was DOA I put the good battery on to charge and made contact with this entity and informed them that I need a replacement battery as one was no good.
That evening I calibrated the GPS set the auto invert feature to on put the battery in the heli went ahead and checked if the GPS was working and the first 2 time were good.
I went got something to eat and took care of a couple things and a little more than an hour and a half latter decided to check it one more time then put the model away for the evening.
I turn on the transmitter plugged the battery in and just before the normal power up routine with the swash plate movement and such I hear a distinct electronic hiss and pop.
No GPS green light this time,I tried it again and nothing at this point I concluded that what I had heard was something in the GPS module failing.
I took the tail boom off put it away for the night.
The following day I got a reply from this entity about the DOA battery it certainly didnt' sit well with me it was stated "You have a bad battery? let me know."
No legitimate business would ever reply to a customer like that.
I replied to this by asking that they send return shipping labels so that I can return the entire thing and asked them to refund the money to my friend who bought it I was not snippy I described all that had happened the night before with the GPS and my suspicions that it had burnt out.
I got a reply stating "I can not do refund, I do only warranty for you I do send you return shipping label I will inspect and see what is wrong with kit please advise"
Knowing what I know now I did not reply to that they want to use those return shipping labels as proof in a court that they actually had done something when in reality they won't and do not intend to, this is well established.
I immediately typed consumer fraud helidirect into my browser and bingo!!!
Having seen all I needed to see yesterday I filed a formal complaint of consumer fraud with the federal trade commission,and will be sending a printed complaint form to the Indiana state attorney general's office as well.
I would suggest if you have had the same experience as I have with this entity that you do the same this does guarantee you a refund but this seems to be a habitual act these people are committing and it will certainly help to prevent anyone else becoming a prospective victim.
And you do not have to live here to file a complaint against a business that is committing fraud here.
The BBB does not recognize this entity as a legitimate business and rates it as an F.
And why are they claiming to be in Massachusetts on facebook but the link on their facebook page leads to Indiana?
I know this is not unheard of but seems fishy to me.
At any rate I've taken the batteries out of the transmitter put everything back as it was when I opened it up I don't intend to try to fly this thing ever.
I contacted my friend and told her to do a charge back and hope that works out.

Great product ! customer service rep Patrick was terrible. He ruined this company for me. We live a life of RC cars. I have never tried to return anything RC related. I will probably never buy from HeliDirect again due to Patrick. He declined my return, car was never driven. He said you plugged the car in for the first time, you broke it, no exception. Thanks to an RC buddy this car problem is solved for us and love the car.

Bought a furitek118 from here. Broke first 2 minutes. Reached out sent pictures. Sent item back , they lie about condition. Send it back not fixed , no new parts. Not even my broken parts came back. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. You have a curtain amount of responsibility when you sell something. They take none. Buy somewhere else.

Had a horrible buying experience with Halle direct. I Purchased a helicopter and it did not work out of the box.
I had several guys at the Flying Field look at it, and they say it is definitely something in the transmitter or receiver, but clearly it does not work
I sent it back for a refund. They said they “tested it“ and sent me back the original helicopter and gave me a one dollar refund to make it look like I received the refund. The broken Helicopter does still does not work.

Horrible customer service, and deceptive business practices. I’m now having to go through my credit card company to get the original refund that was due me.

Save yourself the headache and buy from somebody else. These guys are clearly not worth your time nor your money that they cling onto so dearly.

Buyer Beware! I was solicited by Helidirect for a T Rex 550 X, price was good so I wanted to purchase. I put in cart and proceeded to check out. The price was $200 more than advertised. I contacted customer service, they said might be a glitch in system they would get back, I had to contact them and was told nothing could be done.Very deceptive practices, I don’t trust this company.

ordered a vmar cub was well packed so i opened itup noticed the build book for a 62 inch plane, not 80 inch one big mess, inventored parts found no bag for the ailerons parts, the electric motor mount was for a small motor, said the lipo battery cound be6s 22.2v 4000o 5500 well with the nice battery boxinstalled in the nose put a 5000 lipo in the box stucked out 1 inch to 1.5 inches. so not being mad i called Helidirect 3 different times sent 3 emails to them have never heard from them i know they dont build the kit just sell them just wanted to get info to call who ever for maybe book and replacement parts SOOOOOO i want buy from the company again the internet has to have better places to buy from O buy the way iam 67 started building kits 1975 .

I would not waste your time with this company, very poor customer service and coupon codes they send through email do not work. I had a legitimate issue and they just ignored me. Another lost customer…

It was really easy to find what I needed, also very good customer support, would recommend.

I bought one trax align 300x dfc and they sent me defective one and I did not pay attention until today that I found flybar system to set it up
The custome service knew what is going on of this item but they sent it on purpose to me
Please dont trust these people otherwise you are losing money that I lost

I ordered a third Helicopter from HD, a miniature aircraft fury 57. There was a manufacturers defect in the head.
I called Min. Aircraft and HD, took a few pictures and submitted them, and had a new part at my house in four days, they were pleasant to deal with and didn't do anything but be helpful.
Sometimes things happen and everyone in the distribution chain helped out.
But I didnt call there and act like it was the end of the world,I acted like a gentleman and got treated like one, its pretty simple. David Le as always is the goto guy that fixes problems, HD is just a solid place
