Awful, awful, awful! Never chose this lender! Stuck on interest only as these robbers won't change you to better deal!

What a disgraceful company!! You should be absolutely disgraced with your greed. You could turn the tables and provide mortgages with rates for the people. You chose to keep easing rates every other day and push people to the brink!

I wish there was a no star rating. There isn't enough space to say how hideous this band of robbers are. You are destroying people's lives!!!!+!!

We were sold a regulated product through Northern Rock. Through no fault of ours it was converted to an unregulated product and switched without our consent to this loan shark company. Companies like this ought to be dismantled. They have made our lives impossible by overcharging and imposing interest rates that are way above the norm. Wouldn’t be suprised if they give backhanders to the likes of John Glen.

Absolutely a awful awful company , they have no interest in helping if your in trouble , no sympathy nothing , they would rather see your family on the streets than help , the anxiety and distress they have caused and still cause is needs to change , if I could rate a minus I would.

If I could give these vultures minus stars I would. Been making my life an absolute misery since they took ownership of my mortgage from NR, dont care about us mortgage prisoners and as a result many have unfortunately lost their homes, families and even taken their own life. This company is vile.

Would like to give zero but not an option. Mortgages with Northern Rock/NRAM sold to this company who charge extortionate interest rates. Pass on every increase when BOE increase base rate yet didnt pass on previous decreases! Plus they add in there own SVR increases in between, mortgages have almost doubled in monthly payment in the last 12 months. Thousands of customers trapped with this company, due to the Government sale of our mortgages. Its all very dodgy that they are allowed to get away with it!

Inflexible, unhelpful and useless in this economic climate. They don’t have any packages that support their customers in their time of need.

Unfortunately I was transferred over to this dreadful company after Northern Rock and not by choice not that Northern Rock was any better.

They say they’re there to Help but they are only there to help you struggle. No more no less.DO NOT TAKE A MORTGAGE FROM THEM.

VERY dissatisfied customer and from all these terrible reviews they don’t even bother to investigate and have common decency to reply that’s when you know how disgusting the service is. They are too ashamed or just don’t care. They take your money each month and that’s it!

Paid off mortgage in full. Keep asking for them to inform Land Registry and send me letter stating its fully paid (no reply) terrible customer service . They are supposed to send you letter staing this has been done

Contacting this company is painful. I have had to wait for over 30 minutes to get to speak to someone. I've been cut off numerous times and it is ridiculous that you have to write to them for anything major and not be able to contact them via email. Maybe someone should tell them it's 2023. They are most unhelpful with anything and it's awful how their lack of ability to help can impact on your well being.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Over 50 minutes to speak with someone…that’s fairly normal. Have been cut off after waiting 39 minutes. Ridiculously long automated phone sequence…can literally feel my blood pressure increase after any dealings with them. With the interest they charge they could afford to staff their phones properly. They are a disgrace - how they are able to operate like this in 2023 is unbelievable. Treat customers fairly…yeah, right
Just settled a loan I’ve had for 17 years with £11,300…..the opening balance wa £15,000.

I am a mortgage prisoner from the Northern Rock days. Topaz/Heliodor have been a complete joke in terms of service since day 1.

I had a Together Mortgage with Northern Rock and this was sold to them. This mortgage had a secured and unsecured loan on equal terms (25 years for most people). There has clearly been a data migration issue as they are claiming the original term was around 8 years and it has expired. They don't care about that though.

Some dubious practices:

- Expect to receive payments for redeemed loans then refund, as their systems and employees are too slow to sort in a reasonable time frame.

- Claim to send interest rate changes out the day after the date on the letter, though they never arrive until a minimum of 14 days later. Some have been 3-4 weeks after the date, which chimes with what others in mortgage traps with them say.

- Change terms and conditions without advising customers.

Had issues with ex not paying. They did not inform despite being joint mortgage
Hit my credit report, was not amused.
Would not listen to me so got financial ombudsman to sort it out which they have successfully.
Not an easy company to deal with!!!!
Agents definately need more trained staff who know what they are doing.
Cannot even set up standing order with account reference on without it causing a problem
Come on Heliodor we need better service than this….

This company needs more service agent workers to help to answer their phones to answer questions from their customers. kindly level up your service thank you. Take 53 minutes before your worker answers the phone. Mr. J has been very helpful but he said they have been very busy.

Awful company , unable to get through on the phone after a 1 hour on hold.

I hate this company with a passion. Ring the call centre to be greeted by a krypton factor style automated service that doesn’t understand what you type in or say. It then puts you on hold for 20 odd minutes or so only for an agent to hang up or sound like they are a borrower or six feet underwater so you can’t hear a word they say! So you hang up and go through the whole procedure again…. and again you get cut off!
When eventually you do get through the person with whom you speak has little or no understanding of what to do so you’ll be placed on hold whilst they contact another member of staff. I understand staff can be new and have a limited amount of training. I also understand that not every person has English as a first language so it can be difficult to communicate. However, when dealing with thousands of pounds and a mortgage we should be completely on the same page. Heliodor aren’t even in the same library. Avoid this company and damn you Northern Rock for selling us out to these cowboys!

Had an unsecured loan on house 15 years ago and the amount owed is almost just the same as when we took the loan.

So I have come to the point where I’m not paying them and after 4 months still no sign of being referred to a credit agency as nobody will buy there debt I guess

Tried contacting them and just get cut off after 15 minutes on hold

So I’ve gave up normally you can set up a special arrangement these guys wanted me on arrangement where I was still getting charged interest when i said no other creditors don’t do this I just got cut off after 30 mins in phone so for now fuckem

Terrible to deal with. I spoke to them last week to check everything ok- yes they said. I paid of three quarters of my mortgage in August, they then took a full payment in August on my old mortgage amount. I phoned them yesterday as they have reported to my credit report I’ve missed a payment doing much damage to my report. I went through 4 departments, held for one and a half hours to be finally cut off.
I have cancer and only a very limited time now which they are well aware of. I ended up in hospital yesterday due to the stress. For me I couldn’t care less but it’s a joint mortgage and I can not leave my husband to clear this up. I have spent the last month sorting my life out financially and wanted to relax and enjoy this last part with friends and family not get stressed out over their incompetence.
