The training is clear, fun and not difficult. However, my labrador/retriever cross is so food driven (obsessed!) That it wasn't right for him. He was too focused on the food, even if it was boring.... See more

I’ve just taken part in the free 5 day Thrive in 25 challenge. This was amazing with a great combination of understandable teaching and demonstrations leaving me feeling that I understand my dogs better and I can help them with their daily struggles. Tom and Anita were so approachable, enthusiastic, supportive and genuine. I’ve joined the Hub to continue the learning which makes so much sense to me and can anticipate that in the future I may seek a Behavet consultation for some individual advice.
Thank you for turning my worries about dog struggles into a positive experience.
Just completed the 10 day programme and the Thrive in 2025 challenge.
Amazing is a word I’ve heard a lot in the last few days but that’s exactly what this experience has been for my dogs and me. It’s incredibly effective and it’s fun!
Thank you Tom and Anita and your dogs - amazing!!
I have just completed my second course from help my dog.
My first course was over a period of 10 days, and I have just completed a 5 days course .
All the information I received was free, also offers of opportunities to learn more at a discount cost if this is something you wish to continue.
I found the enthusiasm of the training which was presented to us, was very engaging and kept us focused.
I found Helpmydog at the turn of 2025 with the 10-day plan, it didn't take me long to realise the value and benefit of this learning, and I joined the hub days later. I've since worked through several courses including Separation Solid and the endless training videos and 'lives' stored on the hub. My dog has MANY issues and all the answers to help him become the dog I dreamt of owning are here in one place, provided by an amazing team with the most genuine guy, Tom, at the forefront and the support of a community who are all in the same boat and getting the same value. My life has changed drastically for the better since joining HMD and I can now see light at the end of a tunnel that was pitch black before, no matter what I tried. I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars and would encourage any and every dog owner to join.
Have just done the free 5 day Thrive course. Heaps of amazing learning from Tom. I was also part of the hub for a short time and really enjoyed the support and encouragement I had there. Sadly couldn't afford to continue but if you can I highly recommend it.
People often comment on how good my Labrador dog is. All thanks to Tom's training. 😀 🐕
I had lost hope and confidence that I could help my reactive dog. Tom and Anita have proved me wrong! I did the 5-day challenge and joined the Hub for ongoing training - very much looking forward to helping my Border Collie enjoy walks without his tail between his legs and give me confidence to walk him without the worry of meeting another dog due to his reactivity. Thanks guys!
Just completed the Thrive in 2025 FREE course. Incredible content, actual worthwhile learning and training. Not just hints to get your business. If they run them again go for it. We gained so much from this. Highly recommend
Amazing training. Just completed Thrive challenge live training by Tom. His enthusiasm is contagious and I cannot wait to start some of his ideas and games. Joined the hub where I I hoping to continue my learning and enable me to support my dog to achieve their potential.
Wow!🤩 Thanks heaps Tom and Anita. There is a light at the end of the tunnel for my boy Simba. It breaks my heart to see how stressed he is. Excellent free learning experience. So many valuable insights. It set my alarm clock for three in the morning not to miss a live. By the last live I woke up on my own. That is the power of the value. Thanks again. Xx
I've been a member of Help My Dog since it started in December 2023. The HMD team offer great value by explaining the theory behind dog behaviours, in a way that is easy to understand and remember. Tom and Anita have been doing lives as part of the Help My Dog Thrive in 2025 Challenge. This teaching has been totally free to whoever signed up for the challenge. If you didn't get the opportunity to join this time, it would certainly be worthwhile taking up the opportunity next time it becomes available.
If you decide to join the Hub as a paid subscription or you purchase one of their courses, you will learn lots and have fun along the way.
Have learnt so much from Helpmydog. Hub member since it began but still so much to learn from all the resources. A great community to be in. Very supportive and extra value from shared experiences.
The behavioural knowledge and strategies to move to a better dog owning dream are outstanding.
I am a Hub Member and have done the 10 Day My Walks Are Stressful Course. I have found the information available incredibly helpful in understanding what makes my dog reactive. The games are helping her deal with her reactivity and she enjoys the training. Tom’s enthusiasm and is energy is infectious. The hub members are very supportive too.
Help my dog hub member who has completed the 10 day plan and watched the separation solid course.
We have been part time of the Help my Dog Thrive 2025 challenge.
The help my dog hub gives excellent value for money and support.
With the help from the playing the games. Our very reactive dog is now able to pass other dogs on a walk, sleep and relax during the day, we have now started to live our dream.
This is the first encounter I’ve had with Tom. His teaching is really good & I’ve learnt so much!
Thank you!
I am A Hub member and hub expert
I have done separate Anxiety course, recall course, lead walking course and recall.
I have followed Tom Mitchell and his team for a number of years as a dog behaviourist and trainer he in my view is the orical !
Always trust his advice with any doggy issue.
Added to that his on line courses offer something for Everyone at what ever your knowledge or understanding of dogs and pups.
The delivery is Practical, Accessible what ever your experience, and the relaxed style of him and his team is easy to listen too relaxed and it fun.
Lots of fun and my dog gets to learn new skills that help her navigate the outside world. I totally recommend the ten day reactivity course. My Frenchie, Matilda, did exceptionally well disengaging from a dog that had previously attacked her after just a couple of weeks working this way.
Joined the help my dog hub to work on the behavioural problems my rescue dogs have had since I adopted them. The training is broken down into short easy to watch videos where the games (and the science behind them) are explained and demonstrated by the knowledgeable and joyful Tom Mitchell. If I ever have issues, the hub support team are quick to respond and the Facebook group is one of the most supportive and encouraging groups I have been part of. Whatever your struggles are, someone in the group will have great advice. The training approach is very different to anything I had tried before, and isn't always a quick fix but I can honestly say I now have a stronger bond with both of my dogs. Their confidence has increased and as we take the games out and about we are all more able to cope with the dogs, traffic, people that caused so many problems in the past
I Have trained with Tom for many years. I have participated in The Hub, Separation Anxiety, The Ten Day plan, and anything else that Help my Dog offers! As a dog trainer myself, the learning I get here is invaluable! For my dogs it has been transformational. As with any learning, you actually have to do it to have it be successful. The training is fun and builds great relationships with your dog. Give it a try, have fun with your dog, and you will both have a much better life !
I’m a member of Help my dog hub and I love Tom’s teaching. He explains things so clearly and with so much energy, I love it. There’s so much learning in the Hub and I love that the courses are included and you don’t have to pay extra. Really Looking forward to the boundaries course.
Watched the help my dog 5 day free. AMAZING insight definitely eager to learn more. You can see the results almost instantly in small ways. definitely recommend
