I recently purchased the Herringbone Parquet Dining Table and couldn’t be happier. The craftsmanship is stunning.
What impressed me just as much as the table itself was the experience of buying from a small company. Communication was excellent throughout, and the table arrived quicker than the expected timeline. You can tell it is made by people who genuinely care about their work. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, our house purchase fell through, but Dean went above and beyond by kindly storing the table for us for two years, which I truly appreciated. Once we were finally settled and ready, he arranged delivery seamlessly.

Dean was fantastic throughout the dining table design process. He was incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to send us wood stain samples and make adjustments when we weren’t completely happy with the colour choice. He was also highly communicative and always quick to respond to messages, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

The delivery was equally impressive. The two-man team were efficient, careful with the table, and very professional throughout. They called the day before to let us know their timings, and on the day they arrived exactly when promised.

We wanted a specific size of table to fit our room which seemed unavailable in the showrooms. We also wanted a good solid stunning finish. We found this with HVF along with the very nice owner who made the table to our size and shape.

We met Dean at his workshop and he transformed our dream into a reality. The table is wonderful with beautiful features of high-quality oak blended with stunning, modern steel. Ordered from Dean / HV Furniture in early 2025. Table which arrived was assembled by his colleague, and was absolutely stunning.
Had some minor wood movement (which is rare) and this was covered by the 1 year guarantee.
Dean came all the way from Leicester to Glasgow, and was incredibly polite and efficient - and left the table looking brand new!

I ordered a dining table with Dean in 2024. It was perfect! beautifully made, service exceptional and delivered timely as expected. At the end of 2025 I then requested if Dean could also make a coffee table, in the same wood and black frame - this was recently delivered and again it was another beautiful piece of furniture! Would highly recommend!

I am so happy with my table and bench. The experience was seamless from beginning to end. The quality of the work is outstanding and Dean was so helpful. There was a problem with my bench which had been damaged in transit, however a replacement was delivered very quickly without any hassle. You receive an individualised and professional service from this company and I would highly encourage anyone wanting a quality product to explore their products.
