After one of the service engineers damaged the AAV Valve in my boiler which caused it to leak, they want an estimated £101.96 to fix it. Estimated.

I’ve given four stars as I think Hereford Heating are quite expensive but the service provided was excellent. Good communication including text and email messages about appointments, arrival times, quotations, invoicing, etc. All three staff members who attended my property were polite, knowledgeable and hardworking. Attention was paid to making a minimum of mess with dust sheets put down throughout and footwear covers used religiously. Good advice was provided about my heating system and options to further upgrade it. Staff members went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with everything.

Hereford Heating supplied my new boiler two years ago and today their engineer came to give it its annual service. The engineer arrived on time, was very efficient and tidy. Excellent company to deal with.

I’m afraid these people are extremely expensive to the point of being rip off merchants. The quoted me £384 for a job which I sorted myself using genuine like for like replacement parts for a grand total of £52. The engineer said the pump was in an extremely awkward place and it would take a minimum of 1.5 hours to replace. I replaced it myself in less than 15 minutes.
At least Highwaymen had the decency to wear a mask !

Had some issues with the boiler, Came to fix our boiler, ended up breaking it more, started leaking from the top into the boiler, informed them and they told us to turn it off and don’t use it; we explained we need the heating, we need to shower etc, they said they can’t help us, then the next morning woke up to boiler completely off, the leaking they first caused had caused a part inside the boiler to burn and completely destroy the boiler, contacted them once again and they have told us there’s nothing we can do and that we’d have to wait 5 days for someone to fix it, so we have been left with no heating or hot water ! Their experts can’t fix a boiler properly and have no idea what they’re doing, worst individuals in Herefordshire, money greedy !

Hereford Heating attended and quoted for the removal of a defective heating system and the installation of a replacement system. A sizeable and complex job.

The representative who quoted was helpful,practical and efficient. Competitive quote promptly received.

The installation team arrived on the agreed date, all the materials had been delivered and work proceeded in a professional and cheerful manner.

The weather could not have been worse for an installation that had significant outside work. Snow, ice, mud etc. Every day for a week Hereford Heating were on site, cracking on, from 0800.

Excellent and professional installation. Amazing clear up and removal of debris. Clear explanation and run through of new system.

Poor value for money and reliability

Did not fix the problem after insisting on payment up front.

I am in housing association flat,we all know how the workers treat that kind of houses but Hereford heating always been very professional. They always on time,do the job perfect. The communication is great,always email,text message when they going to be at the place. They always very polite,great service.

Two very friendly, helpful young men came out to install a new boiler for us at the weekend.
We can not thank them enough.
We had come back from a holiday with a 24° climate to a freezing cold temperature and a boiler that had " died ".
Being in our mid 70's with my health conditions it was unbearable!
We thank them so very much for being so caring .

Oil fired boiler broke down and called Hereford Heating for an emergency call out on a weekend. Phone picked up straight away and an engineer was arranged. Within the hour an engineer (Charlie) came round and resolved the issue (fuel pump). Extremely polite, courteous and got the job done. Would have no hesitation in calling Hereford Heating again. Thank you.

The service provided by Hereford Heating through it’s office/reception staff to the engineers is consistently professional, courteous, effective and efficient.
We have been using the Hereford Heating service for approximately 2 years.

We contacted Hereford Heating end of last year to repair our boiler which was loosing pressure. Numerous visits later the engineer concluded that it was not the boiler which was leaking, it was the system and we were advice to contact a leak detection company which we also did. However the leak detection expert concluded that there were no leaks. After investigating the boiler they quickly identified what the issue was and the boiler was subsequently easily repaired. The end result is that we have spent over 2,000 £ on an issue that was easy solvable and costed a fraction of what we ended up paying. The entire process took over 3 months and overall experience of dealing with Hereford Heating has been dreadful.

Look no further they are a really good a reliable company health and safety conscious. Clean tidy conscientious workers. If you have to ring for any reason and they say they will get back to you they do.

I wanted my gas boiler to be serviced. Googled and started phoning down the list. The first wanted close to £150. The second didn’t return my calls. Which was my good fortune cos third call was to Hereford Heating. The lady who booked my appointment was very friendly and helpful and asked me to phone back the day before to confirm the time. Liam arrived exactly in the expected time-slot. He was friendly and a considerate visitor eg he put covers over his boots. He explained what he would do and got on causing us zero inconvenience. As he was leaving, I asked if he would post the inspection certificate, but no need: he had already emailed it to me. Great job Liam. Excellent service. Fair price. Did what they said they would. Arrived punctually(no waiting in all day). Really pleased to have found HHL. Will recommend - no doubt about that - and will use again.
