What an amazing experience it was being taught how to drive a PCV bus by HGVC’s instructor Karl Barham. Absolute pleasure. Seriously good at his job. He has a great eye for identifying where drivers are at and at which pace they need to be pushed in order to succeed. Very happy he was my instructor, couldn’t have asked for a better one. Very professional and respectful of all ages, races and genders. Honestly, you’d be lucky to have him as an instructor. Very well done Karl! Thanks again! Would definitely recommend.

What to say a massive thank you to Andy for getting me through my test. I was a bag of nerves on day one due to a very bad experience with a previous instructor was ready to quit. And then Andy come along and put me straight at ease. His calm and caring and has a great passion for getting his pupils through there test. His way of teaching is out of this world explains everything in an easy way. By the end of my teaching his not just my instructor his a friend/family. Thanks again Andy you are the best.

I started with the company on the 22nd of April 2024, I met my soon to be instructor Eddie about a week into my tests, and from day one, he was very friendly and helpful.
I passed all my tests within two weeks and was assigned to my instructor Eddie.
From the moment I got on Eddie's training bus, he was professional and dedicated, my confidence level was at zero and I felt like giving up, however Eddie helped build me up and gave me to confidence I needed to succeed. I cant deny, im not the easiest student, I kept going round the roundabout 3 times and was missing my exits. Eddie got me a coffee and told me to have a few moments, gave me a debrief and explained the dangers of not understanding roundabouts. From that moment, I never missed an exit and always listened to what was being said to be, Eddie also explained if you didn't hear something or misunderstood, just ask him to repeat. Which I did on many occasions.
I have had an amazing time with the team of trainees and my wonderful instructor and I will miss training with him.
I would like to thank my instructor Eddie, you have helped me achieve everything I set my heart to do. Today I passed my test, with my amazing instructor present I was given my pass certificate, and the joy on Eddie's face made it even more special.
Today is the 30th May 2024, and in just 5 weeks and 1 day, I completed everything.
I am the first female in my family to obtain a PCV and CAT D licence.
Thank you for everything Eddie, you are a legend.

Having Jordan as an instructor was more than I could hoped for.Always prepared and very knowledgeable when I asked questions.He recognised how to support me best and patiently got me to pass the driving test.Jordan is a real asset to HGVC.

The driving instructor “Jordan” was very helpful throughout my training, I think everyone on my team liked the way he thought us how to handle situations in traffic, personally I enjoyed mostly the bus stops that we had to do, he was always respectful and helpful as if you got it wrong the first time he would try his best to make you understand what to do.

I recently had the pleasure of learning from an exceptional bus driving instructor Karl, who helped me pass my test in just 8 days. From the very first day, he recognised my potential and tailored his teaching approach to my strengths, ensuring I progressed quickly and confidently. His remarkable patience and ability to instruct students at all levels were truly commendable. Not only is he an outstanding teacher, but he is also a genuinely great person who is dedicated to his students' success. I couldn't have asked for a better mentor, and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking to learn how to drive a bus. Five stars all the way!

Wonderful driving instructor I had mert ozkan which taught me how to manoeuvre a large bus from scratch aswell as to plan ahead when driving such a big vehicle and all the tips and tricks to make driving a safe and sound. I would definitely recommend using this company I would also recommend asking for meet in particular.

My instructor very knowledgeable and helpful. He made his trainee up to the level. He was really good at it.very happy what he did and stagecoach.

I did it! 30 hours of driving with Jordon and I passs my PCV with only 3 faults!
Jordon is an incredible instructor who is patient and has so much knowledge, it doesn’t matter what your driving style is or what bad habits you have as he can teach you how to overcome them and pass first time….like I did!

Thanks to George I’m now a PCV licenses holder, he was a great teacher and a good friend. He believed in me and gave me that drive I needed to complete my training, thanks again George
