Sharon was incredibly helpful with her technical abilities and her delightful manner. I left the shop having had an outstanding experience of customer care.

I recently called in for more bits and pieces and advice. Service excellent. Sharon was very informative and patient . Can’t wish for anymore .

I am on holiday in North Devon and forgot to bring my hearing aid charger with me. Seeing that Hidden Hearing in Barnstaple were Oticon agents I enquired about buying a new charger from them. Not being a customer of Hidden Hearing I was amazed that they offered to loan me a charger free of charge for the week and they gave me a stamped addressed envelope for the return once I was finished with the charger at the end of my holiday. Apart from being happy to be able to charge my aids I am extremely grateful to the kindness and benevolence of the staff to help me.

I decided a few years ago to go to Hidden Hearing after considering other similar companies. I wrote a favourable review.
Today, I went to my usual HH in Barnstaple. I have not been able to clean or renew my ear pieces as I have had a few health issues, the last being a fractured wrist!
The young lady receptionist did it all for me with a smile and friendly chat. Wonderful, I can now hear better.
Always, always such lovely service. Well worth digging deep into your pocket!

For somebody who didn’t think they had hearing problems, like me, Shaun has changed my hearing for the better. Thinking my husband mumbled, didn’t hear what I was saying and having the tv on loud volume. Well I can hear him clearly and tv now on low volume. Thanks Hidden Hearing and Shaun for making the process easy

I called today just for general advice with regards to Auditory Processing Disorder. Although Sharon couldn't help she went above and beyond to help source contact details and names of local people who might be able to help. This care and support would make me go back to Hidden Hearing in the future.

I recently upgraded my hearing aids and wow what difference! Firstly, Shaun was hugely helpful and supportive, his expertise second to none. Making the change has made a massive difference to my life, for the first time I can hear properly in noisy areas such as restaurants, pubs and busy workplaces. It was such a joyful experience after so many years to be able to be fully engaged in a conversation where there is lots of background noise and not feel isolated or embarrassed. My confidence has gone up and I feel like I can enjoy my life and my work so much more fully now my hearing is significantly better thanks to Shaun and the team.

I’ve been partially deaf for over 20 years and, despite multiple appointments over the years, I never felt like anyone really got to the root cause.

Yesterday I met Shaun at Hidden Hearing Barnstaple and went in sceptical because of past experiences. Within minutes, that changed.

Shaun is genuine, empathetic, and clearly knows his stuff. The hearing test was incredibly thorough, with clear explanations, images of my ear, and even discussion around previous diagnoses I’d been given. For the first time, I properly understood why I’ve been struggling to hear.

He tailored a hearing aid to my hearing graph there and then and fitted it so we could retest. The difference was night and day. At first the clarity felt strange, but after a few minutes everything felt balanced in my head again. When the hearing aid came out, it was immediately obvious how much I’d been missing.

It was a free consultation, like many offer, but this felt completely different. I left feeling reassured, understood, and actually excited for my next appointment to trial the hearing aid in everyday life.

I’d highly recommend Shaun and the team at Hidden Hearing Barnstaple — especially if you’ve been struggling for years without clear answers.
