From the moment we got there felt at ease with a lovely cup of coffee. Emily was great at explaining the hearing test at each stage. I’m definitely more aware of my hearing since the appointment.

My experience was very pleasant and easy going. When I arrived I was greeted by Sandra she was the BC, she has an amazing sense of humour. Emily was my audiologist who was very good at her job I felt confident in her ability to do her job well, I was not disappointed. Overall both members of staff are a credit to the company. I would definitely recommend Hidden Hearing.

With sixty years of wax build up, removal was a challenge!!

My boyfriend & I recently had our hearing tested with Emily in Margate. She was absolutely charming, knowledgeable and professional. We then had to go to Canterbury clinic to see Rachel, as my partner needed wax removed from his ears. Great service all round. We highly recommend Hidden Hearing. 😊

I visited Hidden Hearing in Margate before a diving trip and saw Rachel. She was informative, explained the wax removal process clearly, and made me feel comfortable. The microsuction was quick and painless, and my ears felt instantly clearer. Professional, friendly service I’d happily recommend to anyone needing ear care.

Would highly recommend , the practitioner Rachel smith was very friendly and explained everything , the process lasted 3 mins if that and before I knew it my whole ear was cleared of wax, there was a hearing test added in after which gave me reassurance, and was told I could come back if any problems plus a free check up next year overall great customer service and quick and pain free process definite go to if you have blocked ears

I went for an ear wax removal appointment at Margate Hearing centre attended by Rachel Smith, ear care practitioner. She did the check on ears and they weren't blocked. She sent a letter to the GP after finding an anomaly on my ear drum. I found the service excellent and was informed of all the findings and processes. I'm normally anxious at any type of medical appointment and she put me at ease. I strongly recommend Margate Hearing Centre and give 5 stars for the service provided.

Very thorough hearing test

The audiologist was very personable and made the experience a positive one. She was able to answer all my questions and provided insightful feedback on my test results, plus an honest opinion about best next steps. My only minor bit of feedback is that the room isn't completely soundproof so when doing the initial hearing test, I could hear the receptionist outside more than the noises I was listening out for.

As a 29yr old man I didn't think I would have any problems with my hearing for quite a few years but after learning my paternal family has history of hearing loss I decided to investigate my audible health to make sure I'm okay.

I first met the team in early November 2025 and was told to come back for wax removal and managed to get this done December 2025. Rachel was kind, chatty and made me feel very comfortable with the process of removing my ear wax. The procedure itself was uneventful and very productive.

I then had a quick hearing test which yielded positive results. I then went back the following day for a more extensive hearing test with Luisa.

Luisa was so lovely and very knowledgeable about her profession so I felt in good hands when participating in the hearing test. Again my scores were good so I've been told to return in 2 years time for a check up.

My total interaction with the team has been amazing and I've really enjoyed my experience with Hidden Hearing in Margate. I've already recommended my family to book their appointments when they get a chance.

I’ve been with Hidden Hearing Margate for some years and always been treated with the utmost respect,with professional consultations and very friendly staff. The hearing aids are fantastic and Louise keeps them in perfect order,thank you all.

Rachel explained the process of microsuction and was very efficient at what she did, she showed me a picture of the before and after of the process and my hearing is now restored to where it should be.

From the minute I walked into Hidden Hearing in Margate I knew I was in safe hands.
The audiologist, Emily, was very thorough and explained each process in detail.
The exam on my hearing was extensive and the results were explained to me using terminology I could understand.
It was suggested that I would benefit from hearing aids but I didn't feel under any pressure to buy.
After a few days I decided to go ahead and chose the model and 2 weeks later I had my new hearing aids.
The receptionist, Sandra, was also very helpful and my whole experience has been very positive.

Rachel Smith is a superb ear practitioner whom I’ve visited several times for wax removal. Her clinic is clean, comfortable and has excellent privacy, and I’m always made to feel very welcome.

Rachel uses a little handheld probe to provide images of the inside my ear - I have to say, I do enjoy the before and after images! She talks me through what she can see and what she’s going to do, and ensures my complete comfort throughout my appointments. I would say she definitely goes above and beyond. Rachel is a perfectionist when it comes to ear health, yet always puts safety and comfort above all else. I highly recommend her at the Margate branch.

I am writing as both a client of Hidden Hearing (Margate) and as a retired GP with 42 years experience of working in the NHS; and I have been very impressed by the assessment and help that I have received.
My initial assessment was a year ago, by Luisa Wright, an audiologist and hearing care expert. The assessment involves a thorough medical history and a relevant hearing history. Then there is an examination of the ears and canals. Then both ears are tested for hearing thresholds at various frequencies, including a test against an audio background of environmental noise. This test showed that I was just above the threshold for needing a hearing aid. I was then reassessed more recently, and this demonstrated a decline in both ears. There was a discussion about the range of hearing aids on offer, and I made a choice. I then returned and was given plenty of time to be talked through the day to day running of the hearing aids. I have a further appointment in 2 weeks time to go over any issues that may have arisen and to learn how I can alter the aids using my smart phone (should I wish to that is).
All in all I was very impressed by the professionalism of Luisa Wright and the help from Lucy Rose the business coordinator. I would recommend Hidden Hearing (Margate) to my friends.
