Hifiheadphones have served me well for nearly 10 years now. With dedicated and knowledgeable staff, superb customer service, and a range of excellent products, this is the go-to company whenever I need to update my earphones.

Customer service were quick to respond to the below issue and offered to replace the refurbished earphones with a new pair at no extra cost, which I accepted.

In the end, while these also had to be returned due to a fault (hiss), throughout my interactions with customer support they were proactive, apologetic, and polite and did their best to make amends for the issue below.

Today I received the "refurbished" Lypertek tevis from this company. I am quite disappointed with the state of these earbuds.

I was informed by a customer service rep last week that refurbished headphones were returns that were inspected and only sold if they were "like-new", involving the replacement of tips etc where applicable.

Upon opening the package it became clear that these earphones are not "like-new". I was disgusted to find what seems to be something like earwax and grease on the tips.

All of the tips are misshapen, one of the foam tips is torn and the other is crushed and unusable.

There is dirt on the driver grills and the sides of the earbuds have a sticky residue on them. The metal contacts are scraped also.

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the condition of the product. It is utterly unacceptable.

I have emailed customer service about this and will update this review when they reply.

Shipped out super quickly, adequate packaging, fair picing.

The madlads included a Maoam with my headphone amplifier.

What more do you need to be convinced?

With the help i had from you guys I would always be in touch with you as soon as i know i have a problem & know that i will be getting service which if i can understand .. then anyone will.. Oscar is a star..

Superb service, 24 hour from order to delivery over the Easter weekend. Lovely noise from the 'phones. I could not have asked for more.

I rarely write reviews, but feel that I received excellent customer service from this company.

I bought a set of Final Sonorous headphones from hifiheadphones: at £549, this was a considered purchase, and after reading positive reviews about the company, and unable to find a cheaper price, I went ahead and placed my order.

The day that I received the headphones, a saved search in eBay popped up to show that a vendor was now selling them for £499: it transpired that this was hifiheadphones!
Had the saving been only small, I wouldn't have been too bothered, but £50 was significant...

More in hope than expectation, I sent an e-mail to their customer service address explaining the issue: I was absolutely delighted to receive a reply first thing the following morning to let me know that a £50 refund had been issued.

With some retailers, I have no doubt that I would have faced a battle with this. Given that it's often easier to post reviews when things have gone wrong, I thought it only fair to do the same when a company provided great service.

On the back of my experience, I would recommend hifiheadphones, and will certainly use them again for future purchases.

Great website with an amazing selection of audio products. Their service was very professional, the order arrived the following day and was extremely well packed. Highly recommended!

I have said it before and I will say it again - the service from these guys is faultless.

Fair and honest advice based on the price range you advise, great communication via email in responding to my constant queries and a general selection of wonderful audiophile goodies.

Can't recomment highly enough

I went and tried out some cables at hifiheadphones. Oscar was really helpful and very knowledgeable on portable audio. There was no pressure to hurry and no pressure to buy. I then tried some TOTL earphones and liked them so much I ended up buying them. Oscar is also helpful in answering any further queries you may have on audio gear. I would definitely recommend hifiheadphones to others.

Very great. Received a JDS Labs Atom DAC for Christmas, I even got a pack of gum! I don't know if this was a mistake, Christmas gift or simply a treat? Anyways, I thank for this DAC very much. Hope someone sees it! Very fast shipping time also.

I ordered some Head phones, they sent them to a wrong adress, wrong city (Madrid instead of Málaga...) I sent an e-mail and got no answer, at the post office I have been told that they are likely going back to Frankfurt?. Worst shopping experience ever.

Good company, good prices, misleading delivery options.

The company is good and trustworthy they are also quite friendly. Just be careful of the delivery options you can be caught out as they don't guarantee times. For example if you use next day and it does not arrive then you will not get money back as there is no guarantee. The only exception to this is "Special Delivery". They do mention this in the footer of the site if you look at their delivery page. But, this is not referenced when ordering they also don't note it in the selection process of your order. So again it's a good company the only problem is you can get caught out by this. If this was changed to say "not guaranteed" then I would feel a little better. But that's just my preference it could probably cut of some misc messages they receive... Just saying...

For reference sake I checked out with PayPal they may have already solved the above through their own checkout process and just need to also show it on this.

I'm from Portugal (OPORTO) and recently I bought one pair of Westone UM50Pro earphones at hifiheadphones.co.uk.
Yes this company sucks ;-), so I recommend it because:

1- Exceptional attention to the customer (all my questions were answered promptly. I even phone to the UK and I get a person, yes a nice person, answer my call :-) ).
2- The parcel arrived in first class condition (a great card box with pieces of hard foam inside and completely sealed with transparent tape. The tape seemed manipulated by a robot, I mean, meticulously aligned. Very nice touch).
3- Parcel arrived in less than 24 hours to my home...in Portugal (I paid for express DHL delivery but I did not expected this kind of..."express"). Really amazing because it is not only DHL that have the credits but too the persons that work in this company because they were also interested in getting the order to arrive quickly to me. Kudos.

Because of all these I will buy from hifiheadphones.co.uk, with confidence and pleasure.

Terrible supplier. Since about 2!!! months can not get my order and even time when can I expect it. Is it so difficult to proceed the audio cable from Effect Audio!?? Cancelled the order. Strictly do not advise to deal with this company. Order number 469662. They returned the money. But. After 2 months of running them. And I do not need money but cable.

Needed one foam pad for my Sennheiser HD600. This firm had it in stock. Perfect!

Over the last 18 months I have purchased a number of wireless earphones which have all worked reasonably well with good sound quality , however the sound keeps dropping out on all of them when you are out and about walking cycling etc. These SoundMAGIC E10BT seem to have overcome that so far early days yet but seem really good in all areas, Exelent value for the price I paid.

I have purchased the Soundmagic E10BT and have used them for both treadmill and outdoor running and am very pleased with the sound. Although not quite as detailed as my Sony MDR-EX650AP, the sacrifice of sound against the comfort of wireless is worth it in my opinion. Also they are half the price of the Sony in ears and a lot of the detail is lost on me anyway whilst trying to keep from just stopping and walking! The bluetooth easily links up with either my phone or ipod which can easily be placed in my zipped back pocket and no sound is lost. I must mention also that I got these at less than RRP. I feel I must now quickly take back what I said about these being good value as they have had to go back after just two weeks. After using them for about 6 treadmill runs and two outdoor 10k runs they are completely dead and won't hold a charge. I will update when replaced.

I was very impressed with the business-like way this company handled my order. It was dealt with speedily, I received emails informing me of progress, and the items arrived quickly and in sensibly protective packaging.

Superb service exactly what was described and what i was after to replace the damaged part of my headphones. Delivered in very good time, I would highly recommend hifiheadphones.co.uk to anybody and will use them again in future.
