I've been a supplier on Hitched since 2023 and it helped me create the backbone of my business. I've got nothing but positive things to say about my experience so far with Hitched. Their on boarding team were great, their support staff were incredibly helpful and I have regular calls with my account manager to review where I'm at and what I can do better.
I'm in 5 regions and pay extra in 2 of them, I receive on average an enquiry almost every day. I'm conscious this won't be everyone's experience, but it is mine.
The more I put into Hitched, the more I get out and the results I've had speak for themselves.

I’ve been a wedding supplier on Hitched for several years now, and it’s consistently proven itself to be a solid way to connect with couples. Does any listing site get everything right? Of course not. Is Hitched perfect? Also no. But in fairness… neither is any other platform!
What matters most is results, and Hitched delivers a steady stream of well-matched enquiries from couples who are genuinely interested and aligned with what I offer. My conversion rate to bookings is about what you’d reasonably expect, and I’ve had some absolutely fantastic couples find me through the platform.
Their support team has always been helpful and responsive, which makes a big difference. And yes, the subscription is a significant chunk of my annual marketing budget - but in my experience, it has been worth the investment.
My one piece of advice to any suppliers considering signing up:
Don’t just throw up a basic listing and expect magic. Hitched works best when you put the effort in. Take the time to create a high-quality listing with great images, meaningful copy and regular updates. If your listing is poor, your results will be too.
In short: Hitched is a great platform for finding couples, especially if you’re prepared to treat it as part of your marketing strategy rather than a “set it and forget it” tool. It's been a strong asset in my business for years, and I’m happy to recommend it.

I loved using Hitched to plan my wedding! The app was easy to use and did not put pressure on me to get tasks done by a certain date instead telling me what I needed to do by a certain month which was helpful. The wedding countdown part was also helpful in helping us count down the days and the budgeting part was helpful when looking for vendors.

I needed a couple of items changed on my storefront and Sophie sorted both out in no time.
However, it would have been better to be able to do on the settings rather than requiring support (but maybe it’s just me).

Our catering company has been listed with Hitched for several years and we have always been very impressed with not only the level of enquiries we receive but also the client service side of the business as well. If we ever have a query or issue it is always resolved swiftly and we are kept in the loop at all times. The team are friendly and professional and frequently offer additional industry insight led research which can be really useful. Whilst it's a small percentage of enquiries that are converted into solid bookings, we most definitely secure business outside of the venues we work with by working with Hitched - leads that we wouldn't have received if we were not listed with them.

Great app to use and keep tabs on your planning. I would certainly recommend it. I used it quite a lot during the planning of my wedding.

Looking back post-wedding, we agree that Hitched was the backbone of our flawlessly executed day. This essential co-pilot turned stressful planning into pure efficiency by coordinating everything in one place. The integrated RSVP and guest lists flowed perfectly into the intuitive seating and table arrangements tool, removing all last-minute drama from guest management. Furthermore, building our easy to design wedding website was simple, and the endless list of suppliers was vetted and simple to contact and book through Hitched. If you want a truly organized and stress-free engagement, this platform is the best decision you'll make after saying "yes."

The website would have been great if they had not been so homophobic as to not include the option for two grooms. I messaged their support team who completely ignored me, eventually passed me on to their parent group, who then ignored me even more. Left us incredibly disappointed with the site overall and wouldn’t recommend.

To any suppliers that are considering using Hitched, I would first like to direct you to the ongoing fraud case regarding fake leads with The Knot Worldwide (the US based parent company to Hitched). I think it really resonates with how suppliers in the UK are feeling when using Hitched. If you’d like to do your own research, just search The Knot Whistleblowers.
Here’s a little bit about my experience:
If there are any suppliers considering using hitched to get more bookings, especially new suppliers, I would strongly advise you to use that budget to improve your website and SEO instead.
I joined Hitched as a wedding supplier September 2024 for a year as I was setting up a business as a wedding planner.
I experienced very pushy sales tactics and they definitely took advantage of the fact that I was excited about going freelance and said that I would be able to book 20 weddings in my first year as a planner.
I received maybe 3 to 5 good leads from couples who I had a consultation with. None of these booked which I can’t blame on hitched. However, the vast majority of leads were cold leads.

AVOID this company if you are a supplier!! You pay a monthly fee and receive no work from them!! Its a complete con!! It has taken me months to get out of my contract and there are so many hidden fees. Please avoid at all costs

Avoid like the plaque both suppliers and clients.
For suppliers:they keep calling you to advise on upgrading your plan only to be met by bot enquires with real names and phone numbers, you call them and they all say they haven't enquired anything, therefore this platform is using people who register with them to send fake enquires just to generate traffic on your account, therefore wasting your time chasing them with replies and not receiving any response.
I've called a few of my enquires and they all said they haven't even press a button.
Avoid these scammers at all cost

Without hitched I wouldn’t know where/how to start planning my wedding.
Hitched is a great tool that I used and tell everyone that I know that is getting married to downloaded and start using it asap.
Hitched is everything you need in one, since budgets to suppliers to even forums if you have any question.
What a great organisation tool one could have.
I don’t think there is nothing on there that I haven’t used, and definitely not that I could pointed out in a negative way.
So thank you so much to come up with great idea of hitched, cause it’s just amazing!

I was promised 8 leads a month with Hitched, but after 6 months I’ve had very little to show for it:
Only 1 conversion, effectively costing me £864 for a single booking.
3 formal complaints raised (ticket reference: 765521) with no real resolution.
A lot of time and money put into my profile, including paying for a professional video, with no results.
The support has been poor and feels like constant fobbing off. As a sole trader, this lack of value is unsustainable. I am now keeping pressure on to leave my contract and will be stopping payments until this is resolved.
For all suppliers considering Hitched: avoid this platform. The service has not lived up to what was promised.
Update 06.11.2025
Since posting my original review, things have only gone downhill. Hitched has now deleted my account without consent, even though my complaint was still open and unresolved. I clearly stated I wanted to keep my profile active on a free listing, yet they removed everything, including my data.
The “catch-up” and “profile review” meetings were completely pointless, offering no genuine support or improvement. Despite following every suggestion, my leads never increased, and the quality stayed poor.
After months of back and forth, unkept promises, and slow responses, I can confidently say Hitched is not worth the money or the stress. I was promised around 8 leads per month but received far less, with only one real conversion, an appalling return for the cost.
If you’re a supplier considering Hitched, avoid it entirely. Their support is inconsistent, management unresponsive, and their tactics questionable. You can get out of your contract, but only after constant pressure and escalation, it shouldn’t take that to be treated fairly.

I would strongly advise avoiding Hitched as a supplier. Over the past year, I’ve seen a 31% drop in storefront impressions and a 35% reduction in leads, despite being told that doubling my territories would noticeably improve reach, enquiries, and bookings. This hasn’t happened, and I feel I was misled into a contract I was hesitant to renew in the first place.
The cost per conversion is now around £475 and climbing, with a booking rate of just 3% — and falling. For context, I achieve far better results through other wedding directories and paid marketing channels such as social media.
Customer service has also been disappointing — slow to respond, and uninterested in performance once you’re locked into a 12-month contract.
Update: I was gifted their silver package in my home county for the remainder of my term. Despite being boosted further up the page, I have still seen abysmal reach and performance from the Hitched listing. Other marketing channels are proving far more successful and resonating with an audience. The directory is still seeing poor performance in terms of engagement and qualified leads.
My genuine review as a wedding photographer is don't bother listing on hitched as it is just a waste of money. They promise you the world, but deliver poor leads.
Now I have got to soak up a £850 loss on marketing from the directory. I asked for a cancellation in the contract just to dampen the pain; however, the hitched team couldn't care less.

Hitched is a brilliant website for all things weddings. I used Hitched to narrow down venues and then select my chosen venue and to seek answers to various questions throughout the wedding planning process.

My fiancé and I have been using Hitched to research venues and suppliers for our wedding, couldn’t recommend it more! We found Google overwhelming, and Hitched is a really clear and easy way to build our shortlist. Thank you!

Really useful website to organise a wedding. Only downside you can’t input vendors outside of the choices available.

I did a lot of diy things for my wedding, I didn’t want to spend a fortune on invites and Hitched allowed me to do this for free - granted I didn’t have a physical invite but that didn’t bother me. Hitched tracked all of the meal preferences and guest list information which took a lot of organization off my plate. I also wouldn’t have found my venue, if it were not for Hitched. Super happy with Hitched.
If there were any negative, I would say that it’s the association with Wedshoots. I created an album and then changed my mind but I couldn’t delete the album without deleting my account. But deleting the account would mean all of my Hitched information would be deleted as well.

I booked hair and make up for my wedding with Gemma from Just About Weddings, a connection via Hitched and paid a large deposit. Gemma set herself up as local on bridal site Hitched but after I’d paid I found she would be travelling 300 miles (each way) for our wedding. When she subsequently left Just About Weddings I wasn’t contacted by her or Just About Weddings and my call to them wasn’t returned. I turned to Hitched for help but they’ve just said the arrangement has nothing to do with them and sorry and gosh how dreadful. A platform like this should be able to leverage its relationship with its vendors when required to support buyers otherwise how can any buyer trust it? Well, the answer for Hitched is you can’t trust them and they won’t help you. My advice is go local and do your homework before you commit financially.

Hello
I left a review a month ago or so - hitched asked me for my details to "resolve my issues and look in to a further" - i responded and then they never did anything about it nor ever reached out to me.
Just wanted to leave this review to highlight this as its a common theme and i think they are only leaving these comments on negative feedback to appear as if they are doing something about peoples unhappiness and it couldnt be further from the truth
