VW van Electric Windows and Wing mirrors problem
I had a problem with My VW van Electric Windows and had HK Sparks replace parts and repair the window. It turned out to be a very tricky job as some of the parts were superceded and the new part caused an issue with the electric wing mirrors. However the problem was solved by H's persistence and is now in perfect working order. Thanks very much HK Sparks. If you want an auto electrical job sorting out, I would strongly recommend this company

H k Sparks Ltd were professional and sympathetic to my auto electrical needs from the outset. They gave me a very reasonable quote, fixed a convenient time to attend my vehicle and fixed it as quickly as they could. After having someone try and find and fix the problem before (to no avail), H K Sparks managed to find and fix the problem within a few hours. I am super impressed at their work standard, professionalism and overall knowledge in what they do. I will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them! Great service! Beware (updated)
Beware. Despite giving 2 days notice to do work I was forced to pay £150 for a call out fee (tried to make out it was an emergency). Then charged for 3 hours work at £60 an hour. Poor work. Electrics left in dangerous condition without even a cover.
In response to the reply below: I live in a modern motorhome with gas heating and a leisure battery which gives power to provide lighting and I can even plug in to a socket to watch TV. I have a gas cooker and oven. I have a 3 way fridge. I never said it was an emergency. I emailed the company on Thursday and phoned on Friday. I could easily have driven to any garage. I thought I would give a very local firm the work. Perhaps I was taken advantage off because I'm a female?? I've given him an opportunity to return to make the work safe.

Firstly let me start by saying that it was an emergency call out, we had to ask an engineer to remain on duty outside of his normal Saturday working hours as you were in a position of having no heating, lighting or ability to use the electrics within a camper van which is your permanent residence . This left you in a position of being isolated in an area without heating and lighting. It was explained that we didn't have any available appointments and that we would do our very best to fit you in, which we duly did. An engineer is due to come and complete a further install and yet still you have the audacity to write a complaint.
We have genuinely tried to assist you and have stated that an engineer will be scheduled to come back to you, clearly having ethics and trying to help someone in an emergency isn't always the right choice. As stated by your friend, when he was asking for compensation! that you being cold and in the dark wasn't our concern!
I can only apologise if you think our fees are too high but you could always have chosen another company who works more cheaply, then again getting a company to travel to you, on a Saturday to repair a system that was already severely compromised and had caught fire previously was going to be no mean feat.
We wish you all the very best for the future and hope you have a wonderful Christmas
N.B I note the updated review, which is trying to reflect the points raised in our initial response. It is certainly nothing to do with being female and you were charged at our normal rates, although you listed them above as slightly incorrect as you did not take into consideration the parts purchased. You are also only available at the weekend, which is understandable, however your friend also informed us you had been without power for since the preceding Monday, so a trip to a garage may not have been as easy to organise as stated
Our reputation is one of being honest and open and is reflected in our many other reviews, I feel it appropriate to respond, however we could both write an essay so I believe that you have your opinion, which you are entitled to however our reputation is important to us so I feel the need to respond, we are more than happy to liaise to resolve things.
