I checked the website for what I…
I checked the website for what I wanted, it told me it was in stock in my local, so I thought I could collect in a few hours. It obviously wasn't In stock as it took a few days, which didn't matter but I did think what was the point if u can check stock but then its incorrect.

Delayed delivery
really delayed delivery - after complaint, delivered within a few days. Should not have had to go through the customer service loop to be able to receive a pre-ordered item.
Was a month late. Wouldn't order again.

However should you wish to use your gift card on an online order, we offer the hmvDelivers service within our stores where you can use the gift cards. Bought a Jay's bluetooth speaker dissatisfied
Bought a Jay's bluetooth speaker, but could not hear a demonstration. So I looked on line for reviews, they said it was powerful and had decent bass qualities so it could fill a room with decent sound. When I used it I am very disappointed with the quality of the sound. But because I had opened the box I can't return it so have to keep it. It is a waste of money, but has taught me not to buy without a demonstration. I won't buy any electronic equipment again from HMV. Received a reply from HMV, they said to go to a website to discuss my issues. Tried the site but it just gives me preset questions that have nothing to do with this issue. So just like many companies they just want it to look like they are interested, when all you do is go round in circles. This service website is useless.
